Has there been a season in the last 6 to 7 years where we have not used r/r for an extended period of time.
-
Don't think so, 4 away matches PL 4 home matches PL 1 home KOC 1 home Border trophy
-
As far as I am aware there only 2 clubs in financial difficulty at the moment in Poland. Surely if that is the case, the better clubs would add any talent to their squads, only the no hopers would be left, are we looking for a no hoper.
-
Why would a Pole give up the most lucrative leagues in his own country, to get less wages plus travel in the UK. So why bring in someone who is not good enough for his own country who is on a retainer of between 150/200 euros a week whether he rides or not, as he is part of the squad system.

That's what I said, if the riders wanted it that is the priority, if they did not want it, it should not happen. -

Then explain the FIM under 21s, slickest I had ever seen at Berwick, but it produced some of the most exciting riding I had seen in a decade or more. I am not saying a slick track or deep grippy track are bad or good . If a club assembles a team, then provide a track that suits what you have assembled. You may on a rare occasion have a rider that wants to ride for a particular team, but in the vast majority of cases the club select their riders from those that are available. -

The point is a lot of fans live in the past, and often want something that the riders do not want. If you have a team of riders who do best on a slick track then that is what good management should dictate.. If you give a team of riders who like a slick track a nice heavy deep track that the fans want and the team keeps losing, the fans still walk -

I am great believer in listening to what the riders want, and I am with you all the way if that is the case. But if it's just the fans wanting it, IGNORE. -

Did your riders ask for more dirt, or was it a fan thing. The way the set ups are now don't lend themselves to a track with loads of dirt on them -
He did a fantastic job, against some very stiff opposition, who were all older than him
-
Got to agree
-
Probably because most EL clubs ride early in the week, and PL more around the weekend.
-
Don't really know what the beef is between Polish and British authorities, however the Polish authorities insist that they have priority over their own riders, that alone has problems for any UK club in the PL
-
I can think of quite a few Polish riders that I would love to see riding for us, and would come in on an assessed 7 average. Sadly not going to happen.
-
He could ride on any licence, even a British one, but if his PLZ licence is revoked not in his home country. The question I would ask, is if he is willing to give up Polish riding, the most lucrative in speedway. Should any other country even bother with him as he isn't reaching the standard required of him.
-
My understanding is if a Polish rider rides in the PL, they will suspend his Polish licence, therefore denying him the right to ride in his own country. If a Polish rider does not ride in Poland is he good enough to ride in the UK
-
Thought Poles were not allowed in the PL, unless he gives up his PLZ licence
-
Come along, you might enjoy it.
-
Michal Skurla at a 5 point average yes, he is not a replacement for a 7 point rider however. Michal would be a very capable reserve however.
-
Your sums are OK Norm, however according to Dickon Sat we can get a replacement for injury on Sebs current average of 7.18. Don't know the rules on this, stopped downloading them, neededa ream of paper, only forthem to be changed constantly.
