  1. No excuse needed, fact, I would much rather to be able to use Tourettes.
  2. It may have been 'Black & Gold' listed, but the colour used was yellow, you can be pedantic and call it golden yellow if you like.
  3. Simple solution, and certainly not new. Buy A pair of Oakley goggles with either black iridium lenses or fire iridium lenses. The black lenses act like sunglasses and also cut out glare, the fire iridium lighten everything up for clear vision and wipe out glare. There is no excuse for the sunshine. Any rider that a supply with eyewear through sponsorship, I make sure they are aware of the problem and supply them with the correct lenses.
  4. No secret Scott, I got logged out of Tourettes, forgot my password, when It was retrieved it would not accept it, so at to start again then had to wait 10 posts to get back to normal. Sad really I liked Toutettes as a name, it suited me
  5. Just had something explained about Hyneks situation, a request to the supporters club from a member, could the supporters club ihelp in getting Hynek home to Czech has he had no money. The supporters club responded with it's collection. Well done to them for helping a rider in his time of need, if some people think it is charity, so be it, it is a good thing to do.
  6. Definately looks like a control thing on behalf of the promotion, the supporters club seem to want to hang in there and do the best they can, time to swallow the pride, and realise they are caring group of people who will do their best.
  7. I got a face book message from them before the meeting and one after saying how much they collected, good communication in my opinion
  8. Surely. the club could see they were collecting for one of their riders who had been injured in the service of their club. One would think that the club would be bending over backwards to thank them for doing so. It is probable that those collecting require no thank you, as they are doing it because it needed to be done. When something benefits your business. as this most certainly does, a good business man would be absolutely delighted, and would be openly thanking them.
  9. No, because by doing so he could have been a danger to other riders, a bad management decision.
  10. Think you will find the equipment problem is caused by his financial situation, and the inability to find enough cash to dig himself out of the hole
  11. No one has mentioned the collection for Hynek Stichauer on Sat night, I believe he was presented with £330 by the supporters club. Well done to those who gave their time to collect and the fans who donated. Why did they not collect inside the stadium, they might have raised a bit more.
  12. Just straighten the track out, and call it lets say a Drag Strip
  13. Surely its a GM case with a multitude of after market parts inside it
  14. Don't think so, the drier the track the less grip there is, a bit like being on a beach the wheels can be all over the place. By light watering a dry track it binds the shale giving more grip and faster signs. Also if you hsave any deep areas of shale, it has a tendancy to kill the power of the engine.
  15. Most tracks prepare a track across the track, which then moves towards the fence through the meeting, at Berwick the majority of the shale is against the fence, and by heat 4 the rest of the shale has joined it. Why do the rakers not rake the shale back down. Rakers rake the start line, Why Why is the track not lightly watered during the meeting to keep the shale together. Why does the tractor grading do nothing to the betterment of the surface during the meeting.
  16. Should wait until new averages are out, but an opportunity to strengthen the team in depth by bringing in new assets. Room for a 7 point average rider and a 5 point average rider.
