Forum experts go on about Cook getting away with rolling (he used to and still does occasionally) and sargeant (he doesn't - he anticipates) and wondered why if they were cheating refs didn't do more. I got hold of the rules and cant find anything about rolling or anticipating starts aas being an offence. What is the rule and I don't mean Pearson and tatums rule I mean the real rule?
Just to say I love these positive posts. I am one of those people who think speedway was better in the past but having looked at some old videos the only difference is that there are bigger crowds and a good atmosphere The racing wasn't much diferent than it is now but we didn't have social media in those days, just a pint in the pub afterwards
Spot on about Cook. But we should get through unless Aussies change their team I would have North or Masters for Batchelor who is either ill, suffering from injuries or ....
Surely Glasgow would only get rider replacement as on a 7 point average he will no longer be reserve? or is it different for doubling down/ip riders???
Paulco's right. On a positive note, Glasgow have had only 3 league meetings so far. they are 7th in the league. The top 6 qualify for the play-offs so no need to panic, yet.
Just wondering, did the new owners know they were in the stadium? For example, did these riders approach them and say you won't know us but we are ex-Tigers riders, feel free to get your presenter to interview us if there is a delay? If they did, totally agree with you, if they didn't then what can the owners do?
A good win for the Tigers and as Stewart Dickson keeps saying we are not yet firing on all cylinders. The real problem is lack of track time at Ashfield what with 3 Sunday rain offs in a row. Also the meetings we have had at least 3 have been affected by rain/drizzle including today. I left straight after the meeting as it started to rain again, does anyone know how Kyle Bickley got on?
Its good that Tigers and Monarchs promotions appear to be working for the greater good. From what I've read they seem to have spent the last few years acting like 'fans' rather than promoters
