A good attempt at humour from someone from the east. but as many comedians have said there needs to be an element of truth in a story to make it funny and well you've failed miserably - 12 trophies during our spell at ashfield and the facenna boys can easily make room for more - we own our stadium don't you know and can extend or modify it as required.

They also put in a tarmac path behind the red and white fence to give safe buggy access from the entrance area to the back straight although I've rarely ever seen anyone use it apart from myself - think they could publicise it more as most people walk in on the same route as the riders cars/vans. Other improvement that were missed above - a fleet of new vehicles - water tanker, rescue/parade truck and tractor not to mention the best mascot in the league!

I am always intrigued by people's obsession with averages - what do they mean green sheet (which doesn't include bonus points and is based on last 20matches) or speedway star which uses the traditional method, etc. Richard could score a paid max in every meeting - 8 plus 4 from 4 yet his greensheet average will go down to 8. is that a disaster? if danny ayres gets three third places beating the opposition in every ride that to me is better than him getting 4 third places beating his team mate yet in case one he has a 3point average and in case two a 4 point average. So averages are important but not the be all and end all.

Happy with the team but a lot will depend on the fixtures with doubling up perhaps resulting intired riders and equipment as well as RW missing some as belle view have priority

Almost scared to comment but I honestly have not heard of any of my friends having problems - they all park in the streets around the track - apart from a good few years ago in the street behind the 3rd/4th bend. but since the housing was built no probs. I use the train now theres a sunday service so doesn't affect me but not conscious of seeing any broken windows/glass etc on my way to the station. Obviously sorry that its happened to you and to others

Last year imagine most people happy to pay £15 entry, 2.50 proggy,£4 food/drink, £3 raffle etc. So around £25. This year could still spend c£25 but cut back on the extras.

I agree with Manse re-last season. don't see how the £1 for the stand will work. will they give you a wrist band or ticket to get back to your seat so you can go for a pint? what happens when you get back and find someone is sitting in it after all its not as if they are bucket seats basically just a wooden bench. if people boycott it where will these people c400 stand?

You could be right about Berge. have wondered why someone who was apparently a 'great lad, no trouble, brilliant prospect' turned into an apparently 'spoiled, petulant, ungrateful wee so and so' in less than 12 months. Would he respond better if staying with a family rather than in a flat? or have all bridges been burnt between him the manager and owenrs?

Just wonder if some of the 'leaks' have caused problems with negotiaions? we were 'meant' to be signing Roynon, apparently, but he then signed for the comets. Some teams appear to be spending silly money, if you believe other posts on here and maybe other teams are offering more - keep hearing Richie worral being associated with the monarchs. Heard that Anders has been talking to lots of teams including Glasgow. If they don't sign him can only assume they couldn't agree terms. So gazc could be right and a fee required if he goes elsewhere.

James was disqualified twice for tape touching at Glasgow all year. Whoever gets him will get a good wee rider. Most Glasgow fans wanted him back.
