  1. presume you bet a tidy sum, being a banker. How much did you win
  2. Well done Craig cook its rare that I braise a monarch but your efforts in the ben fund meating were eggcellent
  3. Good to see an agreed date for the semi. Good to hear that Scunthorpe and Redcar both helped out in order to make it happen - cooperation at last!
  4. Take it your taken your lap top, with lots of speedway DVDs, with you? your joking. I was looking forward to a Saturday meeting at armadale, Fridays are too far to travel after work
  5. You sound like a 'sensible' person so as the BSPA allocated the fixture to Glasgow surely it was extremely sensible of them to ask the BSPA when they could run it, after all the BSPA are in charge of the fixtures for all teams so would have the best idea when most riders would be available. Get the date in the fixture list and then teams can decide whetehr to use their 'reserved' date and go with a guest or not. Picking a day when there are actual fixtures programmed will cause more problems and would ahve fans up in arms! When would you run it? On a Sunday when Woffinden, Harris, Nicholls etc aren't available cos they are in Poland - that would make for 2 fair semis, one with all the stars in it and the other at Glasgow. Perhaps Thursday when there are guaranteed fixtures in the UK not TBC fixtures. Perhaps Tuesday Sweden. You see what I am saying???
  6. There not clever remarks. Anyone with a bit of sense would look up the web to find out before posting. and yes you are mistaken there's no 'if' about it.
  7. lets not bother about the facts, just post a throw away comment, spread doubt. Some people come on here and have the nerve to say promoters havnae got a clue yet they post this nonsense. Fact - Woffinden, Harris, Nichols all rode in the semi last year.
  8. Are you suggesting that padded seats have been put in because no one has paid £1 for sitting in the stand?????????????????????????? Eh, the season doesnae start till March 27th maybe they should put in a padded cell for the odd moanarch
  9. Sadly no room for the big heeds from worky and armadump at tonights nigel and kelvin show, its sold out in advance. Other good news from the official facebook site Following BSPA confirmation Glasgow Tigers are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a semi final of the British Championship on Friday the 20th of May at 7.30pm. Note FRIDAY
  10. Looking forward to tatum and pearson and just read all tickets have been sold
  11. No where big enough in the stadium to accomodate the audience indoors and we can't have Niggle and kelvin sitting out in the open on a cold scottish evening
  12. On a serious note for once, sad to read on the official facebook page of the passing of Dave Thomson who was heavily involved with the tigers particularly during the Blantyre era.
  13. Dig mole - see what you did there. but you still didn't answer manses question and we all know you must know the answer. Come on you know you want to
  14. taken from Chris Harris web site: Chris has landed a great sponsor in ALLIED VEHICLES who are providing the Coventry Captain and GP rider with a brand new VW van for the 2016 season. ALLIED VEHICLES are run and owned by the Faccena family …who are the owners and promoters at Glasgow , who have done such a magnificent job of upgrading the stadium there and producing a top side who were just pipped to the Premier League title in 2015. The sponsorship will run through one of their companies CAB DIRECT whose logo will be used.
  15. Some good articles from a tigers point of view in the Star the last few weeks - 2 pages on Richie worrall and 3 pages on ben Barker. Be good to see and hear Ben at the Nige and kelvin Roadshow in Glasgow on 4 March
  16. The one thing I don't get is that the only NL riders willing to ride for Edinburgh are aparently asking for silly money. Surely Mitchell who ahs been around, knows the going rate for riders etc etc won't be riding for buttons. After all he also now has a wife to support! is it a case of if we are having to pay silly money lets use Mitchell as he'll score more than those still left
  17. As other people have said this issue is about the rules. But one thing I can assure you Mitchell is not 'crap'. he's been unlucky with injuries and if he gets some confidence he will do ok at Armadale. so if Edinburgh get him they'll have 2 good reserves whilst many team will only have one.
  18. Agree that we shouldn't open with Edinburgh, a case of familiarity breeds contempt. These matches should be built up and get fans from all sides even newtrals wanting to come along. Don't see point of Elite league team. don't think we would attract anymore fans or potential fans just cos its a elite team. all tigers fans will want to see the new team so we should start with a reasonable crowd anyway - also don't want to lose opening match!. an elite team won't come cheap and have 2-4 premier riders riding for them anyway. if we can't afford there no.1 say Holder or zagar they will then need a guest. A polish team could be good provided they were cheap might be able to market to local polish community - but still risk losing!
  19. Funny how some Glasgow fans thought fisher was going to the tigers and some monarchs were naming Ritchie worral for there team 😏
  20. Is mrs fish back as well. If yes he'll put points on his average.
  21. Just wonder whether the issue is with 'averages' and how they are calculated. As I've said elsewhere someone can have a green sheet average of say 6.00 but be scoring paid 9 from 4 rides in every match. Under previouis ways of calculating an average he would be a 9!!! yet under the previous criteria he would be chucked out as per Ty proctor last yeari is it fair to penalise a rider who team rides? so assume the 5.00 has perhaps been set to acknowledge this?
