  1. I am sure that despite young Bewley not being fit Edinburgh will try incredibly hard to get this match on despite the weather forecast
  2. No one has started a thread which is a bit of a surprise. For an end of season fixture its actually got a lot riding on it as the result could help decide the final play-off positions. Both teams hopefully at full strength with Edinburgh apparently using Fisher at no.2. Gonna be close with young bewley being the difference, I'm afraid Edinburgh 1 Sam Masters © 2 Ryan Fisher 3 Erik Riss 4 Mark Riss 5 Kevin Wolbert 6 Max Clegg 7 Dan Bewley Glasgow 1. Richard 2. Nike 3 Aaron 4 Rene 5 Richie 6 Coty 7 Danny
  3. so could Glasgow; in the semis of the KO Cup and League Cup
  4. Still can't quite believe yesterday's meeting. The Sheffield riders looked smooth enough, no hitting holes or locking up. So lets be clear this wasn't a doctored trick track. The rain on Saturday seems to have provided a really fast surface which you would have thought would have helped Sheffield but Glasgow were so fast. Everyone did there job. Both reserves got a win and 3 thirds. And the crowd loved it - cheering and waving flags. God, I'm happy 😁
  5. Weather forecast looks good so after some rain yesterday the track should have been well watered. Should be a cracker with a win for the tigers 😏
  6. I bet a good few fans last night thought, as I forecast , can we no stop the redcar match and get on with Plymouth. it would have been interesting to see what the score would have been over 15 heats - a wee bit closer than Redcar!
  7. Hope all goes well with no injuries or delays. Important for Edinburgh to get 2 wins to keep them high up the table and a better draw in the play offs. If they are running out of time will ref allow 1st match to be declared once Redcar can't win?
  8. Spot on assessment. Think Glasgow's reserves will outscore Sheffields so should be a home win. Our heat leader trio had an off night in the EL tonight, hopefully they and there bikes all ok for sunday
  9. Whilst looking for the mouse with its clogs on trying to climb the stair , I noticed the heading for this whole thread is wrong. Its not like paulco to get things wrong
  10. I've tried hard but can't find any mention of scumbags but your right we won't be supporting you in this years cup competitions mainly cos you've been knocked out both times by the tigers 😊
  11. They have been involved in some bad crashes in the EL over the past few weeks and not of there making. so they and there bikes have taken a bit of a bashing. With Leicester and Lakeside unlikely to make the EL play-offs should help us when it comes to the PL play-offs and 2 cup semi-finals.
  12. Perfect result for Scottish speedway. Monarchs win at home and tigers progress in the cup 🏆
  13. I think Glasgow's Big Green Tractor should be on - 6 after its performance the last 2 weeks 😒
  14. Think my account must have been hacked! No way did I 'like' this comment by a troll who is unable to understand what people are saying. So lets put it simply and i'll try and not use big words, there's been no whinging, no bitching at least not from Glasgow fans. Every Glasgow fans has accepted your team on the day deserved to win. they have just pointed out that without Dan Bewley you would have lost. Its not rocket science. if you read one of my posts you will see that I think it would be wrong for the team that finishes top of the league not to be crowned champions. However, with clowns like you I now think it would be brilliant that after you near total dominance if you were gubbed in the final, preferably by the tigers.
  15. he wasn't talkin about you, it was allthegearbutnaeidea! So why are you gloating? All Glasgow fans know on the day the 7 riders representing the rebels beat Glasgow - no excuses. These tigers fans plus neutrals are just pointing out that without dan bewley you wouldn't have won. the somerset team manager did his job picked 2 good guests as was his right, the same way we benefited from bewley at Rye House. So well done on this victory but it means nothing, sadly, because of the play-offs. you will be in them as will we and hopefully you'll see your 7 riders, not guests, take on a tigers side at ashfield in October and we'll see who is victorious.
  16. Diamonds are an excellent team but have no chance of finishing top even if you manage to fit in all matches before the cut of. Doubt if you finish second. The play offs who knows what'll happen
  17. exactly. I don't follow Stewarts comments or is this his way of admitting he got it wrong. he's a co-promoter, team manager and track curator. Theres no way the tractor driver ignored Stewart. Also what was the clerk of the course doing and referee? thought they were in charge of the meeting. That's two weeks now that its been over the top. rant over
  18. Just wish i'd put money on it! Bewley was brilliant apart from one race. Like lots of other posters don't see why we had extensive grading after heat 10. we had fought back and started to look more comfortable then we prepare the track like it was at heat 1! Also heard a few people suggesting we should have swopped Nike and Danny in heats 12 and 14 as Nike more likely to beat Charles Wright but didn't hear anybody saying it at the time - everyone's a great team manager after a meeting. I think we deserved a draw but hey we are still 2nd in the table and we won't come up against young Bewley again, at least not as a guest.
  19. I hate saying this but with the 2 guests and Rene and Danny unlikely to be 100% fit I think the rebels will take our home record. Since guesting for the tigers young Bewley has been scoring points for fun and he will help the rebels shade it.
  20. I love what the promotion have done and unlike some I enjoy the kids race and the jungle thingy BUT today's grading after heat 10 was a bit much. However great result from the tigers. 10 points from 3 matches brilliant. The next big question can we beat the Rebels next week.
