  1. A rider shows a bit of passion, gets the crowd going and some people complain. Riders used to get a bonus for doing this in the past from the promoter 😊
  2. You could also say it depends on whether our bottom 4 can take points from any Sheffield riders. Nike back from injury, Dan, tom and jack will try there best but struggle out the gate. If we get anything we'll have done well
  3. Even more pictures posted on Tigers discussion page - pictures v scepticism - you decide but I'm going
  4. Pictures posted on tigers discussion facebook page. Track ok. So seems it's on 👍
  5. It's funny when home riders find it difficult to overtake it's always the tracks fault. Maybe the away riders just happen to be quite good 😉
  6. BBC weather forecast says dry by 4pm and it'll start to get a wee bit warmer 😃 so hopefully on and the natural watering will produce a good surface for racing
  7. It's good to see Mitchell top scoring and getting 5 rides specially since monarchs seem to only give him 3.
  8. Is Andre making a comeback or perhaps its Benji
  9. Well done lads, good to get a point. Just a pity no home meeting this week to keep momentum going. Also we have a good weather forecast 😞
  10. Not sure I agree. For those that don't rate Nike look at this video http://www.glasgowtigers.co/video/tigers-vs-newcastle-diamonds-sgbc-heat-5/ He is a fast wee rider and his rides can only be taken by Richard, Dan, Tom and Jack. Richard should score ok but no disrespect to the other 3 but they are young and inexperienced at this level. On the other hand hope your right
  11. I quoted 2 posters to show how divergent monarchs fans in their opinions. If you don't like it tough
  12. Two quotes from the monarchs chatzone . poster 1 Track poor due to Dickson's fixation with home advantage, and we didnt gate. Poster 2 Young Dan was interviewed and said he had never seen so much dirt on the track but it suited him fine. Don't you just love them? Suppose when you read both posts what they are saying is despite the track not being slick the monarchs couldn't pass
  13. Well got that wrong Despite losing Nike, hope he's ok, an easy win for the Tigers and clearly Dan and his bike were just fine, what a wee rider absolutely brilliant. From a Edinburgh point of view only Mark Riss impressed on a consistent basis and the good thing is he'll soon be in the team so Monarchs will no longer have a top scoring reserve
  14. You clearly haven't read her recent leaflet listing 144 achievements 😁
  15. I share your pessimism particularly if Dan's no.1 bike was damaged as reported on one of the forums last night. Also hope he's ok after his 3 falls
  16. As has been said earlier the problem was a lack of water. The track was ok for Newcastle match
  17. Would Nick Morris fit once the new averages come in?
  18. You have to admit speedway fans have long memories . 2 weeks ago lunna ( paid 11 form 4) and Bewley (paid 9 from 4), got all the plaudits. Lawson was slagged for going downhill and being a gater and summers was described as not being a no.1. Some thought there was too much dirt for the younger lads against Newcastle, despite Lunna and bewley scoring well, having complained that there wasn't enough dirt for the Scunthorpe match This week we are slagged as being top heavy and the younger lads need to convert effort into points, o and the track was to slick again. Yes it was slick but like the Scunthorpe match there were reasons for this; it shouldn't be the norm. The bottom line is everyone bar young Jack have had reasonable or excellent home meetings and none of the meetings have been a foregone conclusion. OR do people just want predictable 75-15 home wins every week?
