To be fair your being a bit unkind to clowns. For a start clowns can be funny Yes I'm sure Ms Morgan and Mr English would listen to jenga - the voice of raisin -
Spot on. I tired to say something similar in an earlier post but this makes it a lot clearer. thanks

Have to agree with you there was nothing funny about what happened on Thursday night. Just for clarification cos you seem to know what happened on Thursday having posted an excellent post earlier in the thread. what was the para medic's initial assessment of coty's injuries? was a second ambulance called because of his injuries? was he taken to the hospital before the curfew time of 10pm? was he taken to hospital after 10pm and if so was he accompanied by the para medic? did he have to stay in hospital overnight? will he be riding for Redcar this week? will he be riding for you for the rest of the season? -

Never heard that quote before but certainly we try to be fair and will help other fans and promotions in trying to keep the sport alive. But when we get lied to, conned or sh_t on we treat these people with the contempt they deserve Read the whole thread. The meeting was 'delayed' cos Coty was being seen to by the para medic for over 40 minutes. The other ambulance first aid staff (they do a great job everywhere) weren't deemed able to watch over Coty whilst the medic went back to the centre green. So to prevent this happening you would need 2 medics. So I was just suggesting they get 7 so that they complete the rerun even if tigers riders suddenly suffer from mysterious ailments perhaps after eating dodgy burgers -

Not a threat just advice. Wouldn't want a match abandoned if Glasgow riders become ill prior to heat 10. -

The grapevine was working overtime last nite and those in the pits on Thursday gave there thoughts on what happened. Better get 7 medics for the rerun and do not be surprised if it takes place in late October -
Championship Knock Out Cup
SharpenRake replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So basically the rules are different depending on the timing of the match. meaning Newcastle could play Workington again and if they draw again provided the 2nd leg was before 1 August the match could be replayed again!!!!!! so we could have 3 semi-finalists known but we would still be waiting for the outcome of the quarter final when Glasgow takes on the winner of Newcastle v Workington. give me strength!!!!!! -
Thanks to Berwick for filling in a potentially blank date. Thanks to the weather forecast, it now looks ok having promised rain for most of the week. Welcome back to Nick Morris and it'll be interesting to see Lewis Bridger can't remember ever seeing him at Glasgow before. Think this will be closer than some people think and so hope a reasonable number of bandits fans travel up for this one. Interesting to see the crowd numbers for this - we've had 7pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday so this will be another first. Just will be glad to see some speedway.

Championship Knock Out Cup
SharpenRake replied to Tigerish's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glasgow had reserved 6 May for the quarter final but ended up with no meeting and a loss of continuity. We also had 17 June reserved should we have qualified for the semis, it is now listed as tbc so another potentially blank date. Have to agree with Sparks 123, there should be some deadline for matches to be completed, and GazC and Islander15, holding a replay is just daft. -

Seems to have been a dramatic night and hope Fernando OK. However from a Glasgow point of view we lost 4 points through no fault of our own. We have seen matches run in really wet conditions to get to heat 10 and a result. Could heat 10 have been started with an agreement both Glasgow riders have engine failures once the tapes go up. So a 0-0,ten heats complete result stands -

I hope the Glasgow management act professionally when Redcar offer dates for the re-run. I've checked the fixtures and 26 October 2017 appears to be ok for both clubs. -
Sheffield V Glasgow, 25th May 2017.
SharpenRake replied to STEPHEN 333's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
You could also say it depends on whether our bottom 4 can take points from any Sheffield riders. Nike back from injury, Dan, tom and jack will try there best but struggle out the gate. If we get anything we'll have done well -

It's funny when home riders find it difficult to overtake it's always the tracks fault. Maybe the away riders just happen to be quite good 😉 -

It's good to see Mitchell top scoring and getting 5 rides specially since monarchs seem to only give him 3. -

Well done lads, good to get a point. Just a pity no home meeting this week to keep momentum going. Also we have a good weather forecast 😞 -

Not sure I agree. For those that don't rate Nike look at this video http://www.glasgowtigers.co/video/tigers-vs-newcastle-diamonds-sgbc-heat-5/ He is a fast wee rider and his rides can only be taken by Richard, Dan, Tom and Jack. Richard should score ok but no disrespect to the other 3 but they are young and inexperienced at this level. On the other hand hope your right
