yep doing away with the 'heavy' hitters

I think kermi is waiting until he is told the team by Stuart, being a trusted fan that does not leak any info, and then he'll be on here with his predictions 🤐🙊

Certainly was, at least for 2017

As has been said many times before Glasgow are not the highest payers in our league BUT they are regular payers and stick to the agreed contract. -

For those not there last night, the Glasgow fans voted for Ryan macdonald as rider of the night. It was good to see the guests on both sides giving 100% -
For once he is right AND Hancock is coming to the Tigers end of season dance on Saturday. Surely he wouldn't be allowed to ride in the championship OR does this mean we are going up OR he's been tempted by the thought of a haggis supper 🍽️

Glasgow own Jack, no ifs or buts. He missed a Glasgow meeting because the powers that be decided to ignore the rules.

What Would You Change In Speedway Next Season?
SharpenRake replied to 4thbender's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
There has been a lot of criticism of the BSPA over the last few months. The Star has a piece by Dick Barrie that suggests when he attended previous Agm's new ideas by intelligent new promoters would be shouted down. I've also read that the old guard whoever they are still control UK speedway even though there was a threat of a breakaway a few years ago. From what I can see there are more new promoters than old guard eg Glasgow, Berwick, Redcar, Somerset, rye house, Workington, Peterborough, belle vue, Sheffield, Leicester, Ipswich, etc. They should club together kick out the old guard and tell them to form their own promoters group, something like Bored of UK Speedway (sorry meant Board) -
Didn't realise we were moving up 😯

Interesting you've made it clear you don't want summers and Lawson and you don't necessarily want the team you have predicted. So who do you want
-
Still trying to work out what you are trying to say

Since everyone else is pretending they know something I think IF Richard leaves it will be because he thinks it is right for him. Assuming he will sign for lakeside or Somerset in the premier league it would make sense for him to cut out the weekly trip upto Glasgow and sign for another championship team. At least Glasgow will get 2 loan fees. Would be good to build side around lunna and Bewley

Spot on. Was going to post something similar but no need you've said it all. One thing I'd add no one takes kermi seriously. He's either Jeremy Corbyn Fan under a different name as has been been suggested by a number of posters or if not the other possibility is the daft laddy that gets stick on Tigers Facebook page

Didn't hear it over the PA but the track staff should have been thanked publicly. The rain beforehand was a killer and it was obvious some riders didn't fancy it but fair dos they gave it a go. Worrals engine failure when on a 5-1 could have been crucial but in the end wasn't. Well done to the 4 regular Panthers riders can see why you won the 4s.

Jack holder was listed until recently as riding for Peterborough but he isn't cos he has taken ill, jet lag? Being an Edinburgh fan you know better than anyone that listing a rider doesn't guarantee their appearance. You will also know that some riders are sensible following a crash and also realise that coming back to early could affect them and there team mates. If he were to ride in the individual and had to pull out he's not put his team in a difficult position. It's called common sense a concept that appears to be in short supply among certain fans

Good to hear that they made the wrong decision on a consistent basis. As others said on other threads these decisions were made despite what the rules say in black and white -

The problem hasn't been caused by Glasgow, it has been caused by the rules. Glasgow were meant to be racing against Workington tonight and in effect have swapped one meeting for another. Jack Smith is a Glasgow asset so we have actually helped the Colts and aces by loaning him to you thus helping you win trophies. Is it too much to ask that he helps us to try and win one? Finally whether you agree with the rules or not premier and championship matches take priority over NL matches apart from riders championship -
If Peterborough are allowed a guest, and who knows if they are or aren't, can see them going for Chris Harris - he has guested for virtually every other club and is good round Ashfield. Means of course he would get 8 rides, his own and jacks, and if selected to ride in heat 15 his points would count double

No idea. We still have to fit in Workington with Fridays league match being cancelled presumably because they didn't want to hold 2 matches in 2 days. And perhaps they were keeping Friday free in case Thursday was rained off. 🌧️🌨️🌩️ the current forecast looks good for tomorrow but it rained for part of today when it should have been dry so fingers crossed ☀️

The Tigers did well to restrict Panthers to a 10 point lead but the main issue will be th track and weather. The track took a lot of rain prior to Saturday's individual on Saturday and even some rain during the meeting. Today it has been lashing down with rain forecast for tomorrow night. Lets pray the forecast is wrong what with Ipswich wanting to run there leg of the final on Thursday. sadly dont see the Tigers getting through mainly due to Chris Harris, great rider and team man, he clealry really wanted to win the chamionship individual on saturday with some breathtaking fence scraping moves and i can see him going through the card unbeaten although hope i'm wrong.

Throw in club assets Aaron,Jack and your favourite Richard and we could run 2 teams with the riders you have mentioned
