  1. They won't be doing any meetings next year if the rumours are true
  2. Whats wrong with you apart from being a worky fan. We were willing to go to you as requested on 6 October a Saturday night even though you'd all miss watching Cookie on the tele and remember apparently that's why you wanted Friday nights (give me strength). We wanted to hold the second leg as per the rules so to try and speed up things we suggested Sunday the 7th the day after, a day we have ridden on as it is our alternative race day, ask Edinburgh. You don't have a fixture on the 7th and now with his injury we'd be missing our top rider two days running and you are still behaving like a pudding with chips on both shoulders. Do you not realise that acting like this the NL promoters won't want to touch you with a barge pole. If you can't run fixtures due to rider availability, stadium availability, money availability you shouldnt be in a league never mind the championship.
  3. We are waiting till you go bust then we'll get a bye to the final! Just banter didn't really mean it
  4. It wouldn't be a Saturday when there is a grand prix on? Just a guess you understand
  5. Form a breakaway organisation and league outwith the BSPA e.g. BSDA and NDL. No doubt they will threaten riders that if they ride for a BSDA team they will not be allowed to ride in the future for a BSPA team. But can you see BSPA teams refusing to sign up and coming riders from the BSDA when they are ready for a BSPA spot?
  6. If seeing cookie in the GPS is so important to Workington why do they want to race Glasgow on a Saturday when they're is a GP on
  7. I think that Glasgow having finished above Workington at the cut-off date get to pick whether they want the first leg or second leg. I would be surprised if Glasgow wanted the 1st leg. So there would appear to be 2 options hold the play-off the same weekend, Glasgow's main alternative race day is a Sunday or Glasgow would race the following week which would drag the play-offs on even longer. Having fixed a cut-off deadline the BSPA should also have fixed the weeks for the play-offs and they should be the number one priority. The Shield and KO cup fixtures should also have had a deadline and if so we wouldn't be in this shambles.
  8. You've got a new stadium then? Hope its got terracing and can fit in a speedway rather than a slowway track.
  9. can't help thinking the panthers were lucky to be in the right place at the right time. No way theyd have won at Lakeside. And now they know they have the beating of Lakeside at Rye they will surely pick them for the play-offs and the final beckons.
  10. Despite an up and down stop start season Glasgow won all of there 10 league home matches in 2018. The only other team to do so, so far, is Workington (well done to them) who have still one home fixture to complete. Every other team lost at least one match. So well done to everyone that rode for the stripes and good luck in the play offs
  11. Just because you keep on saying it doesn't mean its true as other unbiased fans have repeatedly repeated. realise you are trying to emulate Jenga but at least Jenga can be funny. What is it about Workington fans, I blame the nuclear power station
  12. Just a reminder to all the anti- Cook Glasgow posters. Glasgow lost Lewis Kerr (great guy) to a really bad injury. rather than run with rider replacement all season which would be cheating the fans they chose to sign a rider but not many out there with Lewis ability and average c7pts. So they did something radical they let Richie Worrall go also c7pts and replaced these 14 points with Craig Cook (c10pts) and Nathan Greaves (c4pts). Its not as if they signed Cook for a reserve, we didn't break any rules, some fans even thought Glasgow had weakened there team. In the end, Craig has been good for Glasgow and Championship speedway and Richie Worrall has been good for Edinburgh. Nathan Greaves has sadly got injured, looked a good prospect, and Lewis Kerr is slowly recovering from injury.
  13. Presumably having Cook and Harris in opposition would have helped a wee bit
  14. Right you just need one draw and you are in the play offs. Don't let everyone down
  15. Could lakeside be the first team to have 3 home meetings in the same day. At this rate tonight's match will finish tomorrow and then they have two in the evening
  16. Look, all Glasgow fans want lakeside to qualify at Edinburgh expense but calling Claus a lunatic isn't helping your cause.
  17. Must win? For sentimental reasons yes but a draw tonight and 2 wins at rye would get you in the play-offs
  18. Good to see Richard a Glasgow asset scoring well against us, almost but not quite like Rory Schlein when he guested for us earlier in the season
  19. He even borrowed Jordan Stewarts bike against the moanarchs and clearly it was an ex-cookie bike as he swept by the opposition with ease
  20. Can't see the Tigers spoiling the Hammers emotional departure from Lakeside. An away point wouldn't be out of the question though. Also good luck to the hammers at there remaining league matches at Rye House
  21. It would be nice to see Berwick get some reward for there season and what better than a win at the 'dump. Would also be nice to see former Tigers Aaron, David (if fit), Kevin and Theo score some good points. sadly don't think they'll get the win but a draw might not be out of the question.
  22. Cookie can't win (well actually he can). on other threads he is slagged of for not being good enough for the Grand prix and he should forget having any further ambitions of being a Grand prix rider. Hes even slagged of for not being a real number one in the premiership. But now even though the rules allow it and there's little difference between the top tier and the Championship and with the vast majority of other riders doubling up/down we get a sarcastic comment worthy of an Edinburgh fan or The Scotsman
