  1. Well the tail wagged and they didn't suffer from having to use r/r for Wood. Entertaining match just a pity it was the first leg of the shield as opposed to a league match as I can't see us progressing. As others have said heat 15 absolutely superb.
  2. Your stirring with the wrong person, Jan Andersen is a monarchs fan
  3. Agree with paulco we need a20 point lead whether we get it is another matter. Depends if Eddie K is in the mood or not. Lawson and kerr will do well but can't see there tail doing much at Ashfield but they'll run riot at Eastbourne. So yeah really hope for a big lead.
  4. Thank goodness there's still a few worky fans left otherwise this forum would have died of
  5. Craig Cook confirms he has broken his wrist but plans to ride on starting tomorrow night at Glasgow against Eastbourne.Tigers have 6 meetings in 11 days and Craig also has the British Final next Monday. Theres no good time to break your wrist but this has to be a sickener for Cookie with him desperate to win trophies for his club and also for his ambitions to become British champion and get the wildcard for Cardiff. Hope everything goes well for him tomorrow and he can then take it day by day and see how the wrist behaves.
  6. Not at all why should I be upset. OK your prediction was better than mine but you still got a humping so alls good.
  7. For the benefit of sensible fans no one is suggesting that over the 2 legs Redcar didn't deserve to win. What most Glasgow fans want to know is what happened to the track and why and why do it prior to a crucial match against a good team. Why not do it before a match with a diddy team like the monarchs. We had enjoyed good racing with the Tigers riders enjoying smooth lines inside and out and then we get ruts, slick, grippy and patchy in just one bend _ riders comments not mine So why o why
  8. I don't think any riders have complained about the track until tonight. There's always the odd comment especially from riders that haven't done so well but tonight required lots of work and it was announced the ref thought it best to get it done early hence thedelay
  9. It's not an excuse it's fact. You obviously didn't have to sit watching 3 tractors and various trucks going round and round and round and round, riders and ref visiting the track. Redcar did what was needed, congratulations to them. I just want to know what happened during the week that caused so many problems tonight.
  10. Oh dear seems we have track problems for first time this year
  11. Spot on Gazc. Just think what Edinburgh would be like if they hadn't signed oor Wullie
  12. Should be ok, I'm sure if you needed a monarchs fans to fill the no3 bib they would pass a drugs test. now if it was a IQ test that might be different
  13. For the benefit of Mr Blobby, as I predicted Coles scored more than Ruddick, Victor more than Sedgmen. As for Kyle Howarth he helped us win Well done to the lads for proving me wrong
  14. My goodness a fair assessment by a moanarch. I don't know about there being no letter, there might b a wee helpful leaflet advising monarchs fans to book there seats in the stand in advance.
  15. Lets put it another way the last time you had 6 riders due to Luke crashing against our 7 and you only lost by 4. You have replaced 2 of these riders with riders who have scored better at Armadale than the ones you've replaced. you've replaced another rider (good prospect don't get me wrong) with a guy who cant score any less. Gie us peace you will win and you know yo will win cos you are stronger than the last time.
  16. Yes he scored 0, zero, not a jot, less than 1 and despite that you only lost by 4. So Coles can't do any worse and as he has shown he can cope with small tracks he is likely to score a good few points and certainly more than 0.
  17. Typical monarchs fans comments saying there no better off with the changes compared to the last time a few facts from last time. You've replaced Ruddick 0 with Coles who scored paid 5 for us! replaced sedgmen 2 with Victor who scored paid 14 last week! and replaced wethers paid 8 with Howarth who scored paid 13 riding for wolves against you early in the season. you aren't just better of than the last time, your a lot lot stronger and we only won by 4 the last time. so no ifs or buts you will win, sadly.
  18. Have to agree with paulco, Edinburgh look a lot stronger than the last time so hate to say this but can only see a monarchs win.
  19. Tigers Official facebook page says £3,735 was raised and the Facenna family are going to top this up to £5,000. Well done to everyone at Glasgow, terrific amount. Stay strong Sam.
  20. Really enjoyed last night but thought the 2 tape exclusions and falls and Kyle's puncture was going to cost us. Hope Connor and Claus and there bikes are OK. Did Claus suffer bike failure which caused the fall. He didn't look the same in his other rides so wonder if he was on a spare bike or carrying a injury. And what can you say about cookie. Harris and Schlein did everything to beat him but his overtakes were something else. So 3 points and 3rd in the league despite only having 3 matches. Next time its the moanarchs who have strengthened up by signing ex tiger Victor Palovaara. Can't wait
  21. This Friday we have a crucial league match with one of the teams tipped for the top - the Rebels. Somerset's top 3 - Rory, Harris (welcome back Chris ) and Covatti can and have scored well at Ashfield. Nico looked really impressive in the GP qualifier. The battle between James and Kurtz should see James come out on top, just. The reserves look interesting with a chance for young Connor Bailey to make a name for himself on his first outing for the club. Should be a cracker and even the weather forecast actually looks good. Thoughts with young Sam Norris and I hope a collection will be held for him at Ashfield.
  22. I actually find it very interesting and revealing, but not sure why its in the Championship part of this Forum.
  23. No! You said they should have been told to race this Friday. Sadly riders are self employed and this Friday wasn't on there list of dates. It is safe to assume that both Glasgow and Newcastle wouldn't have been able to field there full team hence why they allegedly said they couldn't come. Scunthorpe have injury problems and as another poster said the track has taken a pasting from the weather hence why they appear not to be keen. Do you get it now
