Kenneth is out there for a month or so with our promotor Steve Whitehead, both are staying with Mason's family.
-
He's maturing all time as a rider and hopefully we will reap the benefits this year. I'm sure he will surprise those on here who believe he shouldn't be allowed to race here.
-
Edited. My error

Our final signing for 2016 is Ty Proctor! http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100591
-
Ah fair enough, we should win 2 awards then, for best preparation and great racing!
-
The awards are judged upon the marks given by every referee in every meeting. Scunthorpe have been very successful with this award but this year we were judged the best. I would be interested to hear an impartial observer such as HalifaxTigers view as he has visited numerous times this year to get his opinion, in my humble opinion the second half of the season was the best racing I've seen in my short time involved with the sport with the Glasgow meeting being the highlight, each to their own though. Can't see that being unbeaten at home has anything to do with it.

Premier League Track of the Year is..... .....Derwent Park! Well done to Anthony, David and the rest who produced an excellent surface which resulted in some great racing throughout the year.

Welcome back Mason http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100589

See post 238. Just following the BSPA guidelines we have been given.
-
That's correct Jenga. We are just following the guidelines we've been given by the BSPA Management, I can't say 100% about any other rider. All I can say is Mason Campton will start next season on a 5.00
-
6.87 Jenga, need to realign the abacus!
-
Mason comes in as a new rider on a 5.00
-
I would imagine any uncertainty surrounding team announcements will be to do with the Aussie State titles and not knowing if certain riders qualify or not. May have been waiting of Proctor, Smith or someone else
-
Mason is indeed the Queensland Champion for 2015 beating the likes of Grajczonek, Nelson, Smith and Jake Allen in the process. He now fits the criteria to reapply for his visa for 2016 and we look forward to him returning to prove some doubters wrong Full result - Mason Campton, Tyson Nelson, Josh Grajczonek, Tyler King

And factually incorrect.

Workington prices are held for 2016. £15 adult entry remains and the racecard is again included in that price. Season tickets are £235 for a minimum of 17 meetings but are also applicable for any cup progression or getting into the Play Offs. At worst it works out at £13.83 a meeting. We are also offering a £15 reduction for last year's holders as they lost out on one of their guaranteed meetings.

Interesting to see Lewis Blackbird out of retirement and riding for Lakeside, could he feature back at the Showground?
