From Updates site Summers,Palovaara,Sedgman,Masters,Clegg all riding tonight at Wolverhampton in the Olympique- seems a bit risky in view of the forthcoming fixtures on Friday and Saturday - hope all riders keep safe.
Real reason for Somerset's defeat was the underperforming Josh - he scored a maximum last time here - and also the poor return from the reserve guests .Noone has mentioned Aaron's excellent effort either which proved to be crucial.
Very little enthusiasm and excitement for this fixture from Rebels fans on this forum. Many must I feel think this is a foregone conclusion over the two legs.Could be closer than many anticipate especially if Glasgow have their gating on song.
You are 100% correct but there isn't an endless pool of riders like BK, JG out there and the more they guest the more chances they will pick up knocks or injuries . A restriction on the number of times the same people are being used needs to be put in place.
Agree with you SharpenRake - has put Glasgow at a very serious disadvantage for next few weeks - so ironic as well that Glasgow are at Somerset next Friday - completely destroyed what could have been a really competitive fixture for the Rebels. EL and PL Clubs will keep using Nick and Lawson over and over again as long as the rules stay as they are - with little consideration of the impact it has on their own clubs.
So Nick Morris gets injured guesting for one of Glasgow's rivals Somerset - had to happen sooner or later- and with important fixtures coming up the strain is really getting put on the Tigers. Don't think Swindon will be too happy either. Hope Lawson and the Worralls remain safe this weekend or teams are really going to struggle to field suitable replacements .
Wonder how the Somerset fans felt about the continued use of Kurtz and Grajczonek by some of your main opposition for the Premier league title, namely Sheffield and Peterborough.
