He is not refusing. He was never contracted to ride in the Pairs even when it got reduced to just the one micky mouse meeting!

Tbf the last time peterborough were at foxhall in the KOC there was some great racing despite the score

Credit where it is due. Great performance from the team last night. Just shows with the right back up for Jason and Emil we are a good team. Keep it up guys . When Eric comes back and if we make the anticipated change at number 7 we should be right up there again

You would think that very soon Jason and Emil are going to get fed up with the lack of support they are getting. Things need to change and change right away. What the answers are I have no idea. Glad I’m not a promotor but Chris and his sponsors will be fully aware of the state the team is in. No blame what so ever on our top two riders but for gods sake they need support.

So far all Mr Morris seems to have done is make all meetings have a track grade after heats 4 , 7 and 11. It made the Ipswich meeting drag on more than it needed to do on Monday

I run a small business and no way I would employ anyone who does not fit in and not be prepared to work as a team. Having said that none of us know the reasons why Chris went the route he did with the number 7. I do feel though that this is the sort of team who will need a bit of time to get going . Could well be the opposite of last year when we started the league well and then fell apart at the crucial time. even last night you had the feeling if we could stay close we would nip the win in the end but Danny’s very poor last ride put the mockers on that and he will know that I’m sure. with the strong top end we have we just need Rew and Hume to get going and then we will be a match for anyone. Danyon has shown glimpses of what he can do but needs to do it from the first race.

Totally agree with all of those comments. one defeat early on is not a disaster. The one thing I would add is that Rew needs to get the confidence to mix it on the first bend. From what I saw last night he was in a decent position on a couple of occasions going into the first bend and took the option to back of a little which cost him dearly. I think he has the speed but has to get the elbows out on the first bend or he will struggle .Hopefully he will get this sorted sooner rather than later and he will be fine. This team will only get better but we do need Riss back as he is a key member of the side the way it’s been built. And I do agree Joe ,through no fault of his own is out of his depth but who would you bring in to replace him as Chris doesn’t seem keen on the obvious replacements. I think Joe needs to have a little more time to get up to speed. One good gate in the reserves race and a win could transform his confidence

Also don’t forget(many seem to) that out of the admission money 20% goes straight to the tax man via VAT

The fact nothing has been put out this morning by the club regarding the last two riders makes me believe even they don’t know who that last riders are yet.? strange considering season tickets go on sale this weekend too, unless the riders are announced tomorrow. that could be good or bad news lol

Maybe that’s the plan. Announce the wow signing this week ready for the season tickets to go on sale? That’s how I would do it

So now we need three more riders let’s see who is closest for what its worth I am going with Hume , Riss and Holder. I think that fits . If it doesn’t I’m sure someone will tell me and I will have to guess again i don’t get why everyone assumes Hume won’t be back because before he got injured he was worth way more than his average. If him And Rew both put a point on their averages and the rest maintain theirs that’s a winning team. just a bit of fun with the guessing though and it keeps us all having something to speculate over l

Surely those predictions will be wrong as we won’t win without a decent number 5 in my opinion .
