Enjoyed the stream. Good way to enjoy a meeting as I was / am, pretty much unable to do mid weeks. Kinda expected Dan to outperform both our reserves and there was a huge difference in his performance compared to his twin. Hopefully Joe won’t choke for the next meeting. Drew was pretty much as I remember from last season and it is imperative that he makes that step up that has eluded him for the past couple of years. I do hope he makes the leap in class this season. It’s got to be disheartening for him as it sure is for us when he promises so much but is not getting out what he puts in. I know the guys all need time but the number of matches here doesn’t give them long to get things straight so let’s see where we are after another couple of matches.

Can Max James not ride for the cubs until his July birthday when he’ll be 16? It’d be a shame not to see him in a team in 2022. Would Dan Thompson want another year in the cubs or should he just push on in the Lions and as #8 with Sheffield?

MM came back last week to show that he is ready to rock and we need BP to show the kind of form he showed in his final race last week and put together four solid races. JD needs to just keep doing what he does but make sure his bikes are up to lasting four laps each time he comes out. Missing Greg of course. He was really the standout rider for me in the first few matches. He seemed really up for it and it's a shame about his freak injury at BV. Can see a close home win on Monday unless we really end up with KL wanting to prove themselves after recent disappointments. Wonder what David Hemsley will post in his Mercury column this week?

BP got a lot better as the night went on too? Fingers crossed that he gets a fair chance to show his paces as a lion.
