  1. The first part - probably true but not a factor. I saw it alright and duly assessed it as being irrelevant, taking far greater cognisance of the passage I did quote. That's why I quoted it And yes it is farcical.
  2. Farcical. Another reason why the sport lacks credibility. Like having the football Premiership fixtures done by one of the participating teams with vested interest. Crazy.
  3. For a second thought I'd clinked on the wrong site
  4. Of course bomber is jus riding in the cl this season to lower his ave for next season with the tigers cat, pigeons....
  5. To be fair to Cyclops he makes a lot of good points but don't tell him I said that Yep the home track advantage is common to all teams - just seems to be accentuated in the case of Armadiddle. A bit like Berrington Lough was home advantage..... Plus! And yeah unlike the Bandits of old when they were at Berrington Lough, the Monarchs have usually been very capable away from home but don't tell anybody I said that, in fact I defo never said it.
  6. Very good. And quite right too, support your team.
  7. But not to the extent that it is at Armadale that's the point.
  8. Dear psycho, You obviously haven't a clue, nowt to do with away its the home trick track with a thousand percent home advantage and bends where at the apex riders often almost come to a virtual standstill that's the issue, nowt to do with away at all, already spelt that out but you obviously don't listen. Dodgy trick track that's the issue and specialist set up cos its such a dodgy trick track, that does (fact) give you an unfair advantage and probably very different on a fair track over a two legged cup comp that the "league" title has been reduced to in recent seasons, saw the above match and capable visiting riders couldn't do anything on that trick track it was a sham, a Mickey Mouse trick track in a Mickey Mouse stadium. Well that's a bonus, but what a cop out, you obviously know I have a point and I'm right
  9. Well that fairly shut mr blooby up, no answer, you know its a fair point and i'm right
  10. That's more relevant when its a straight league and no play offs to decide the title and away wins are independent matches and any away points not dependent upon the aggregate of home/away as it is in a cup comp, but I was referring to the end of season cup competition that the "league" title is reduced to when its a play-offs system whereby there are no 'away' points as such and winning is dependent upon the overall aggregate thus making home advantage key, as I said.... "gives them a skewed advantage in the home//away return leg playoffs" the relevant word being "home".
  11. I wouldn't go that far, on their trick track with a thousand percent home advantage and bends that (momentarily) have riders almost coming to a virtual standstill at their apex (totally weird track!!) its a totally different world, one of fantasy that they are somehow better than everybody else ( they aint!!), not to mention a stadium that is a complete dump. Apart from that the place is great. A trick track that gives them a skewed advantage in the home//away return leg playoffs and a false air of superiority and unfair advantage, its a mad mad world alright, one skewed massively in favour of "The Dumpers" for the league crown as has proven to be the case in recent seasons.
  12. Thanks for the clarification. Ipswich are a good team no question, didn't appreciate Hume had been top scoring.
  13. You have a point there, Danny is a top rider fer sure. Only 40 years? Machinery aint just about money, as you'll know you also need a rider that can use it, look what Bridger did on Liam Carr's bike the other week, Carr wasn't doing much with it and reportedly Bridger's performance transformed showing real speed and winning heats on it which Liam hadn't been on the same bike so it aint as simple as throwing money at the equipment, you need a pilot on board that can use it.
  14. Take guest James Shanes scoring out though and it would been an away win. Not to mention Worrall's puncture/retirement from Heat 13 whilst on a 5-1. You say a three man team but you overlook that the fourth average rider was out injured. Glasgow still got an away point though and in a league that's more about an end of season knock out cup comp its more about improving riders that come good later in the season: Glasgow's team is set up for that kind of format with 3 established riders and 4 that are young and on the rise including Nike Lunna and Dan Bewley. You mention about money, but money has limited effect when there's a points limit. It aint like football, if Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc, were limited to the grades of player they could sign/field, limited to the same as the likes of Crystal Palace, then the Premiership would probably have a very different look about it. It aint all about money when there's a points limit to work to as we have in speedway.
  15. No. You publicly referred to and discussed the content of a Personal Message - that is shameful and disgraceful conduct on your part.
  16. Not really the done thing to quote publicly from a private message.
  17. Definitely, and looking forward to seeing Berwick reduce that minus figure. Definitely, and looking forward to seeing Berwick reduce that minus figure.
