  1. Predict Panthers to hit 60. Glasgow to get barely over 30 including a double points TR.
  2. 2011 - Probably right. Glasgow won it (the league) by about 11 or 12 points. Which makes a mockery of the playoffs system. Agreed the league should be decided by the total number of league points. Wasn't the famous rain-off and the eventual restaging in bright sunshine with the visiting support turning up with umbrellas very late on in the season and Glasgow ran out comfortable winners. From memory the league lead was increased the last month of the season so they gained momentum rather than lost it that year? Agreed. Those two were my pick at the start of the season.
  3. Well, "new J Corbyn Fan", you've given wrong information, at least not entirely accurate. Here's the correct info: Worrall 9.13 ave (Home 9.60, Away 8.68) Lawson 9.06 ave (Home 10.38, Away 7.68) Summers 8.96 ave (Home 9.89, away 8.07) 3 nine point average riders and you're complaining. "Very disappointing" my a"se!!! Incidentally, away averages are usually that bit less than a riders overall average, and conversely the home average tends to be that bit higher than the overall average. That's just how speedway works. So for a nine point ave rider to have an away average of around 8 is.... normal!!
  4. Not at all. Don't be so ignorant, you know nothing about me. You just jump in with your usual crap.
  5. Super, smashing, great. (...they're bound to get it eventually ruffdiamond )
  6. Molly coddle? Just give him a Mickey Mouse trick track with a million percent home advantage and he will double his average. Oh right its been done before?
  7. Haha good one. Mr Fish did get the blame though it's claimed he only read out what his colleague Bill Giles had prepared so it all became a bit fishy.
  8. Yeah of course, I'm hoping for a Monarchs win
  9. On this occasion the TR seems to have already been used.
  10. I'm also "very close to the world", I live in it, though apparently not always the real one
  11. Agree about the precedent set, was my concern a few posts ago too. If precedent applied consistently from now on then in theory over a long period of time what goes around comes around and it all levels out for all clubs. At least in theory. Unfortunately clarity and consistency are in short supply in speedway.
  12. There's "woosh" and there's what you might call "let it woosh" and think you'll find that its more likely to be the latter
  13. Is there an abundance of impertinence where you live?
  14. As the saying goes 'the truth will out'. Looks like it just has done. Waow.
  15. Don't mind seeing Glasgow get another four points but not so sure about awarding matches like this. Consistency in decision making etc, and I agree it creates a precedent. Personally I was more bothered about Coty's wellbeing and when it comes down to it an injured rider will always be more important than points, just how I see it.

  17. Doesn't take Einstein to work out that it is patently obvious that no-one (at all) with a vested interest should be involved, it is a conflict of interest and so called "strict liability".
