Same with Hume, he seems to always get injured. Where as bowtell usually walks away -even with a dislocated knee at Newcastle I believe!
-
Personally I’d go bowtell over Morley although Morley is the safer option Bowtell is very gutsy and raw ability is there and a very good gater too.
-
Kurtz & Hume or Kurtz & bowtell would create a solid line up of 1 3 & 5 as well as 2 solid second strings in Kurtz & Nielsen with 2 deserves that can score points too.
-
Surely todd Kurtz would be a good signing?

I just had a quick look at the forum views. Could this be a master stroke of trying to revive interest in the Poole camp? For example look at Eastbourne announcing their team first 20,000 views. Poole incomplete 140,000 views... people are certainly talking about Poole. (I understand some interest would have been caused by their drop down but still 120000 views more?)
-
It made me laugh so I’d deem it as funny
-
I think it will be more down to the fact it is a lot more behind the scenes stuff to run the champ team and the nl team will certainly be on the back burner this year
-
Exactly what this man/woman said
-
Do we know when the last 2 will be announced

I think there are improvers in both: Bowtell v Morley I’d say Bowtell is the faster rider and they’re both as good out the gate but Morley is the safer rider and you don’t often see on the floor. bursill (I cant see it being anyone else) v wirtzfeld bursill the better gater but wirtzfeld the faster rider especially around the island as well as being safer of the 2. Bursill is a bit dodgy at times. Atkins V Woolley again not much in it but Atkins has obviously more potential. Woolley has more experience is definitely the better gater of the two and quick round most tracks. andrews v campos both can be untouchable around their home circuits and both can be woeful away. I don’t think either will get much better but I’d say on his day Andrews is the better rider saying that on bad days he is suspect to a crash or two stoneman v coles this one is in favour of stoneman he’s a real trier has the odd crash but definitely gutsy. Cole’s is very good around the iow though and a solid heat leader everywhere. davies v king Davies has had many opportunities and not really pushed on I don’t think this move will be any different. As opposed to kings first crack at the national league and scoring solid points round the iow - hopefully he will smile soon though he looks very sad in his photo on speedway gb haha leek v butcher Leeks been around forever last year I thought he was finally making strides. Butcher is great in the development leagues and the grasstrack and not fantastic on the speedway. Hopefully he can change this. I think butcher is the stronger of the 2.

Is the discount applied for each year lost or just once? E.g 10% for year 1, 10% for year 2, 10% for year 3 or just 10% thats it?
-
Adam roynon must have fairly low gsa with a reduction?
-
It’s not a bad team. I have to say the number 1 is out and out solid - Waco will agree as he loves his grandson obviously lol. Tail might seem a bit long but at home Wirtzfeld could easily be a good second string. A lot will play on how Leek returns. Woolley a shock signing but more than capable of winning races at home as will campos and Coles. I think they will are the season unbeaten at home. And pick up the odd point away from home. Nick a play offs place then the home track advantage might just get them to a final. I personally think this team is stronger than plymouths.
-
Well Kent have played second fiddle to eagles for the past 5 years lol
-
Kent number 2s
-
I personally don’t think Luke’s the right man for a job in the nl
-
Didn’t realise wallinger still rode
-
Flint is better than bickley, palin will be better than flint, Bailey could be better than all of them - that’s the way I see it. Flint if he can crack a small track like Armadale then that will heighten him as a rider.
-
I think the idea is he’s fresh blood? Bit like Danny Ayres was ex mx had talent but very raw as opposed to the other two names that out scored him there that really aren’t going to do anything more than they’re
-
I wouldn’t quite compare him to woffy bearing in mind what woffy was doing when he was 15 at scunny...http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/board/351/scunthorpe-2006
-
Didn’t see that coming. I think Hagon will be better than Ablitt though. Never the less Ablitt is still going to be a good rider
-
I agree I think Woodhull had a bit of a bad season
-
Plus with both family connections in Hagon & Dugard he’s got the right people around him
-
Very good signing. He’s the next best British youth rider hands down
-
I’ll eat my words if he does score points which I know he won’t. Morley and wood don’t set this league alight so ledwith doesn’t stand a chance considering his average is about 3 1/2 points below theirs
