Or just a challenge match where they select all 14 riders of that standard... it’s not hard.

What happened to Spooner & Whitmore? -
A challenge match of higher tier speedway to see if it’s cost effective?

Brummies v Stoke NL Wed 22nd Aug

You’re joking right? Birmingham will hit 55 -
See I think they’d avoid Kent purely based on the fact Stoneman Rowe Hampshire and spooner can go very well there. I think they’d avoid Eastbourne due to the home track advantage and they’d go to Birmingham because Kemp & Ayres are as good as their heat leaders there as well as their reserves being far greater than Birmingham’s
-
With Buxton having to still complete NT away and NL away at Coventry as well as today’s meeting at home will they get everything in before the cut off I presume double headers will now become apparent
-
Personally British Speedway should be one big league and one league consisting of about 25 teams then there is a training league for tracks that aren’t really capable of holding higher tier racing (financially) such as: Buxton Stoke IOW and having the other development teams run at tracks for them to have that large league eg Weymouth at poole, reading at Swindon, covernty at Leicester, that league should be unpaid and the big league should be a mix of all riders from all 3 leagues bearing in mind there will be no doubling up etc then all riders will be in with a job. Pay grades should be bought down. If the top riders don’t want to ride over here then don’t make them ride over here use a british rider that needs the rides.

Very impressive from Kent, last night at Stoke. Table to finish Mildenhall Eastbourne Kent Birmingham with Mildenhall selecting Birmingham and Kent & Eastbourne facing one another. Making a Mildenhall Eastbourne League & KO Cup final like the Birmingham Eastbourne a couple years ago.
-
Just seen no thomas, if no points picked up today this could be a major dent in the kings play off chances especially if Coventry can pick up a few more points they could leap frog them by a point or 2 in the end
-
Very strange decision by the Mildenhall management to run RR for kemp, god forbid - but this is speedway. One or possibly two of the reserves get injured and or one of the main body of the team, it could be a disaster when they could call on someone like brennan (in just thinking locality as opposed to someone like flint) even if Bowtell and Morley go through the card with 28 points, I can’t see much else unless campos is on fire and can get 8. Possibly 4 from verge 3 from widman on his return and 1 possibly 2 from the reserves at best. At the and I mean the very best IOW could run a draw but I think the score line is more likely to me 38-52.

Brummies v Buxton Wed 15th Aug NL

Birmingham will kill them -
I admire your consistent optimism for your team Teaboy but I’d be amazed if Kent reach 38 points. 9 Hurry, 5 Hampshire, 6 Stoneman, 6 Rowe, 8 Thomas, Spooner 3 Cousins 1 at a push.
-
At Mildenhall yes, but at Eastbourne?
-
I don’t think Eastbourne will win at Mildenhall, but could they cause an upset on a aggregate score meeting with Spiller at reserve against Mildenhall with no out an out reserve now?
-
Coventry reserve in Luke Harris to dominate the number 2,4,6&7
-
Yeah they can just use a guest verge shuttleworth or Edwards?

In theory, if Bacon can score 14 Shanes 12 Greenwood 6 brennan 8 then 6 from the reserves including rr (2 will be scored in heat 2 & heat 8. So 4 times they will need to beat their opposition I agree could be very hard) but with Hampshire’s machinery it’s possible? I think Birmingham could keep this tight but they will have to be on it. -
Did Eastbourne break any rules in delaying the time? Surely if a football team is 1-0 up in a crunch match they put the ball in the corner of the pitch? Dugard JNR has one general job as team manager and that is to get as many points as possible and although I do not agree with the way Eastbourne went about it last night they did what anybody else would do to get that point that may prove vital at the end of the year. Wishing all those injured a speedy recovery.

To right if they aren’t his bikes he shouldn’t use them unless he rides for Dugard
-
And what a ringer to sign!

Eastbourne to win the league with powell Edwards or Spiller at reserve now.
