  1. Connor King guested many times for iow hasn’t he?
  2. Still a very strong team. In a watered down league they have an out and out number 1 very strong reserve in Pavitt, Alcock has expirence in other new 2 pointers. Priest will be a 7+ rider in this limit and I expect Chessell to hit 8+ with Glasgow expirence. Coles will provide solid back up at number 3/5 and Burnett can beat most second strings round stoke..
  3. Rye House possibly? Looking at riders who haven’t been signed and ones I think wouldn’t already be signed. 1 Kemp 9.15 2 Dugard 3.35 3 Hurry 6.75 4 Hampshire 5.11 5 Kingsley 7.54 6 butcher 2.01 7 Ablitt 2
  4. I rate flint over smith personally I find smith quite a boring rider
  5. Well he can only ride in the championship with a team place he can’t guest as he has an average? I’m just saying from your original statement it would appear that Ben has a team place in the championship
  6. Glad to hear he has a championship place
  7. Exactly mac101 he has so many followers on the internet and knows exactly how to play the game to build interest just what the clubs need good on you pie man
  8. I’m not so sure on £250 for example the top rider is this league is on a 10 point average he is probably on £30 pp 20ppm tyre fuel and oil so he’s likely taking home in excess of £400 a meeting
  9. Don’t get me wrong, I admire his guts to return after his injury. And I’m not saying he didn’t improve but I do not feel he will get any better now. If he proves me wrong I’ll eat my cap. Just when you look at the two riders and one of them holds a bronze fim world medal and the other doesn’t score his average in the final it shows which one has the potential...
  10. Yeah why have campos when you could have Atkins???
  11. Quality signing in brooks the way he won that heat 4 at mildenhall in the final was incredible. Not so keen on the bebee signing however as I do not feel he has much more in progression. Should hold a 4 point average st number 2
  12. Hampshire announced retirement earlier this evening
  13. You really do amaze me. The lad is pure class. Dugard’s reckon he will be on the world stage in the next 10 years and I have to agree with them I watched him beat riders this year way above his ability at the time with ease.
  14. I said a certain rider on a reassessed average didn’t i. 4.98 of my calculations are correct and I fancy stoke to finish top 4
  15. I agree with sings Extance would have been far better than Burnett, and even so I would prefer butcher over Alcock
  16. Declared in a team as a 1-7 on a 3 which would rule out even sheppard as previously having ridden for Kent and even so cousins and Laurence with lakeside?
  17. I’m thinking more 7.37, 4.50, 7.04, 2 with the points limit left over len could have had far better heat leaders than he does there though. Essentially the team I feel to win should have been built around ledwith spooner Gilkes and Ablitt = 12.00 / 36 leaving 24 points for 3 heat leaders in: edwards 6.73 Ayres 8.90 Hume 8.10 Kemp 9.15 Edwards 6.73 Hume 8.10 Saying that I would have brooks over spooner any day of the week
  18. I always thought he ruling was if you had been declared anywhere as a 3 you could never be a 2? It could only go as 2.01 I might be wrong though.
  19. It could be the problem that Jamie maybe a victim of the rulings? How many matches did he complete for IOW and how many matches did he complete as unattached because esssentiall being declared on a 3 and not attaining a 3 he could be a 2.01 or 2.99?
  20. Kent team I feel will structure: 7.5, ledwith, Rowe, 4.5, 7, Gilkes, 2
