I don't think anyone said they couldn't afford to give him a loan. It was rather a case of not being prepared to do so. His subsequent response demonstrates that Mick Horton made the right decision.
The good news: BSPA being more open and keeping the public informed for a change
The bad news: Nobody at BSPA Towers can spell LicenSed
Can't have everything, I suppose
On second thoughts, not so obvious or clever. What could be simpler to the uninitiated than 3-2-1-0?
No need to mention bonus points in the programme or match report - they only affect the riders' pay, not the match result.
St Johns seem to have been having various troubles in recent years. In Warwick, the local St Johns volunteers were so cheesed off with the way it was being run that they broke away and set up their own volunteer ambulance service, dropping the St Johns name. I believe they now provide the cover at Brandon.
Agreed. And has Mr Simpson ever heard the term "washing your dirty linen in public"? Seems to me his reaction is as OTT as Mick Horton's - did he reply to the offending message and try to sort it out man to man? Probably not, preferred to publicise it and stir things up. Maybe he has a grudge for some other reason. Pots and kettles spring to mind.
