  1. The retirement of Rikki Mullins maybe a blessing in disguise as for what i saw of Liam Sanderson at Scunthorpe last season i was impressed. He tried very hard and looked a racer. He did hit the deck a few times but that was only through over trying. Very much like when Jack Kingston was a king when he overtried & overcooked it. Liam looks a bit stylish & has good equipment so he could be a very good signing for the Kings. Hope he goes well on the try out day on the 30th March & Chris Hunt selects him for the reserve berth.
  2. As you say Ben does fly around Lakeside and took the scalps of a few decent riders last year. His overtaking last season of Belle Vue pair Ritchie Worrall & Stefan Nielsen after being shoved out wide on the 1st bend was an excellent achievement for one so young. He's home average at Lakeside was just under 8 points per meeting and although he did struggle away from Purfleet, It was the 1st time he had even seen some of these EL tracks let alone ride them but he always gave it 100%. Given the opportunity he will be able to score the points for the Bears once he is dialed into the South Tees track. He has excellent machinery and is always immaculatly turned out. One thing for sure is that Ben is a very popular & likeable young lad with both riders & fans at whatever club he has ridden for & will do an excellent job for the Bears.
  3. Ben is the perfect choice for team captain, he is very popular amongst the other riders and is always first to offer support to them. Ben is a likeable young lad who is very approachable, which clearly shows as the way the fans at whatever club he rides for ( even when guesting ) appreciate his efforts. He always makes time for the fans young & old and stays behind after all his meetings to meet & chat with them afterwards.
  4. Ben Morley will double up with the Redcar Bears for 2015.
  5. Obviously With Ben at No 1, how do you think the rest of the riding order should be. Also do you think Danny & James could be swapped around home & away.I would go for this line up at home. 1. Ben Morley 2. Danno Verge 3. James Shanes 4. Aaron Baseby 5. Danny Ayres 6. Rik Mullins 7. Jamie Couzens / |Adam Sheppard
  6. Does anyone have any news on how the Stadium improvements are going, as i am led to believe that the main stand has been demolished & a new one being built.
  7. I'm very suprised that Luke wasn't snapped up by any other club in the NL, as he is a good gater and can mix it with the best of them. Pardon the pun but Luke will be a real ASSET to the Raiders, seeing that what he is.
