Well all i can say in a few months time when Eastbourne put another good team together not one person will even think of the last meeting of the season, Just means that someone is thinking a head, If averages have been dropped then well done for playing the rule book. Well done to all the riders and mechanics and everyone involved at the Club, also all the club sponsors and people that have made it a great season for the Club and everyone who has supported club during the 2015 season.

Great night from all the track staff and the Eastbourne team helping put the saw dust down. Good to see that the voice the Cradley fans were at it again but I guess to see Eastbourne lift the Cup.

Talked to the riders after the meeting and they said they had asked for the blade to come out around 6pm but they were told by a top track man that they never had one at the stadium, Then Bingo one comes out at heat eight, Maybe they had just built it in the carpark on went to Monmore to go and collect it. Seems as if we were all robbed of a good meeting and the way it was conducted was a shambles, Sorry to say the ref should have taken control, or look as if he was in control? Not good for speedway, Not good for Cradley, why would anyone want to invest in Cradley speedway if they cant run the last meeting of the year to a standard. Praise to all the riders both sides and to Eastbourne as no complaints from them, Few of the Cradley boys were upset with the track and talking to Will, Seemed to affect Matt more then most. Some of the Eastbourne Team were there at 5pm and allowed into the staduim to the pits and there was no water being put down, Panic had started at well before then. @martindugard23 put on Twitter the mess of the start grid at about 18:00, Unless another lie has gone out about watering as it was not watered between 6pm and 7pm. The Managment got it wrong to tell the track staff what to do easy as that, they just follow instructions, who ever says it or instructs them to do it will and should always come back to the managment not the staff. Birmimgham never had a problem with the track so why should cradley if is the same people?

yeah i have been there for years taking all the stick, but i was a Kent fan before moving away this year so i have had plenty of stick, If you cant deal it then you got to be ready for the brown sticky stuff to come back.

But very funny, when over all the years that all the other teams have had to take the stick from Cradley fans, the last meeting is all self inflicted and it is fact, it is also the truth. But i have to be fair and say its not the cradley fans fault that the programme never mentioned there great support also not there fault that the track was not up to a standard. Sorry but it not the best programme, it may look nice on the outside take away the adverts and then count what you paying for (thats if you had to pay for it and not given input into the programme?) mmmmm did you count the content of how many pages are in the programme, Based on that fact the rest of the programme is pre printed at the start of the year with a roll content of approx 6000 then they reprint the small amout of content inside, Not rocket science also no the best programme. also a total rip off for the money. To give more back to the Fans sell a £2 programme and then lower the admission, Eastbourne produce a fantastic programme new content every week from the front to the back with everything in and 18 pages and for £2 (get in there) Pearson will tell you that everything is fine as he is trying to sell the club to get his money back, So everything is going to look good on the outside (bit like the programme) nice on the outside but full of the same old same old).

From the Cradley WEB SITE THE management of Cradley Heath Speedway wish to apologise for the unsatisfactory manner in which the Knockout Cup Final 1st Leg with Eastbourne at Perry Barr was staged. (Meaning they didnt suceed in getting the meeting being rerun as they were behind by 8 points at one stage) The meeting was abandoned after 10 heats with the scores level at 30-30 which means the result stands going into Saturday's second leg. (Because they crashed the tractor into the fence, then they tried to take all the wet dirt off the track and left it in front of the airfence which is more dangerous) There were several aspects of the meeting which were, in our opinion, handled badly – some of which were taken out of our hands - but as a management team ultimately we have to take responsibility. (Not informing the fans of what was going on, Reason being they didnt know, and why worry as they are out of speedway at NL about 2 minutes past 10pm ) We would like to offer our sincere thanks to all supporters who were patient during track work as well as the riders for giving it their all in less than ideal circumstances. (but never offered a refund for missing a 3rd of the meeting so a £4 programe was really only £1.50 as have 5 blank races.) We wish both teams good luck on Saturday at Arlington Stadium and hope the travelling Heathens fans making the journey enjoy the evening whatever the result. (More like Enjoy your speedway elsewhere as we cant provide it for you) A further update on the immediate future of the club will be issued when and if there is something to report. Cradley Shot its self in the foot last night, Good crowd and then destroyed all the good they have built up in the club by trying to change the race track surface Halfway through the meeting. Yes the track was not good but it was getting better? why go and change it and rob the fans of 5 heats. Complete Joke for the fans 50 minutes between heat 8 and 9 and £4 for a programme that was full of adverts, Ashamed of the management and the way they have carried on with the fans which was the last meeting? Well what a joke last night turned out to be, Yes the track was looking a bit dangerous but the Eastbourne boys seemed to be having a go at it, Cradley boys were struggling but i guess if it was the other way around they would have left the track as it was. Cradley were out classed up until the interval which was the track conditions the early interval was the fault of the tractor driver who collected the kick board with the grader, An early interval was agreed by both teams, the ref had no back bone as i heard when he was asked what was going on he said he had no idea? 50 minutes went passed with nothing to tell us what was going on all you could see what the track staff just blading off the track. The cradley management really sold the sport to the someone who is looking to take over the, a good crowd with a team that was under performing, A load of track staff that had no instruction, A team Manager that had no idea what he was doing as he never been in this position, you could tell when you arrived that the Cradley management had given up and just wanted out the season. I feel as if I was robbed, I looked at the programme £4 what a joke, but I guess it’s a bit of history as last meeting, talking to some riders in the pits after the balls up of the meeting and they had told me that they could not wait for the season to finish also they had not been paid for a while, maybe it was all a plan for them to delay the meeting, they still had a 1/3 of the meeting to run this ment they did not have to pay the next 5 races to the riders? Someone like Max who didn’t have the best of nights only scoring a 0,3,3 he may have earnt £150 for his score, it was really was not worth him turning up and only doing 2 rides, Same as BWD the poor guys have to wash the bike and get ready for the next meeting, They will take a day to wash everything, If you pay the riders for £4 and hour that still does not cover the time to wash the bikes and get ready let alone what they race for. Congratulations to Eastbourne as not one of the riders in their team said a bad word towards the track of the running of the meeting, a lot of unhappy Cradley riders and Management in the pits at the end of the meeting. A Joke of a last meeting, the way it was run tonight I feel I have been robbed with my entrance fee and then a programme and if I was a cradley fan I would have second thoughts of going back to support them where ever they race. Not the best way to run a Team and promote if your not allowed into the staduim because of so called monies owed, thats the reason while Colin Pratt is on Duty during home race meetings.

RR for Glen as he has just danced his way into the night at the awards everning, I think it will be close but we will be fine as we are good at home, Wood had a great night last time while BWD was a bit down on speed due to his injury at Rye House a few days before. So swap them 2 around and with Spiller only getting a few points will be covered by RR so i have to say its looking to be good night weather permitting.

Well i am sure Mr D was not drunk as he collected the show bikes at the end of a great night he then had a van full when he left, not sure how many was in it but a lot more then the seats it was build for. Oh yes it was him behind the wheel when he left he may have tried a few laps of the pitch before leaving lol.

As far as i can see and as we have been told on the forum that Brad cant double up with a PL club as if he has over a 4 point average when converted means he cant do the NL. Now with the new rules his average he can go into the ELite League as a 4 pointer, If he can get someone to take a chance on him then he can do EL and NL as there is no rule that i can see in the book, But i am sure i am wrong, If there is anyone out there who know the rule book can let us all know as we might be missing BWD in the future.. Can anyone confirm what i said it rigth ot wrong or if anyone knows away around it. Would be a great loss to British Speedway if he was to be booted out because of the rule book.

Smith and Tyler as reserve, not bad but have to say Tyler stats are not that good with an 80% of a fall or a breakdown, but there you go, Dugard is more stable but Andrews has just hit form again after his Thumb problem, hope its going to be a good night for the Eagles.
