Looks like the info i was told was 100% wrong if you watch the video but accoriding to the video but if you look at it he goes out the start then then video is cut and he rides back to the start line again with dust and dirt all down his left leg and across his arse you dont get that with out having a fall. I agree with what you are saying but at a cost, NL cant build the talent up and then it be taken away as and when the EL or PL have a fixture, Its all about Speedway at the end of the day, If the NL are not allowed assets or have any riders on the books as per the last AGM meeting then they cant put a data base together of riders to build the club up. Look at Kent last year buying James and next thing you know he is not worth anything to Kent as they are not allowed assets. What a joke.

Thats good news for them but not for the club if they get picked then the PL and EL come first. well you have to say thats good for the riders just means that other people think they are highly rated as well.

I hear that Breandan Johnson was having a few laps at Iwade the other day getting in some early laps. I was told he was good of the start but was unable to slide going in the first turn and crashed into the fence. Hope he was ok but have to say i pleased he was not in the Eastbourne team. BWD was the right choice and this years team is as good or if not better then last years. Roll on the season,

Have to agree with you Ben its going to be a big team to beat, I think the problem is going to be the lower order in the team and the riders that will double up with the PL, i have seen it in the past where the ups and downs of racing in 2 leagues is a problem, you can loose heart in one league and then be picked up again in the other. Lucky for Eastbourne they dont have that problem but Birmingham do, it may work to there advantage and again it may work against them who knows. good luck to Birmingham and hope to see you in the Finals this year.

No Loan fees in the NL as it was agreed in the meeting last year that the NL is a developement for the PL, also no NL club has any assests, but why Hume has gone to Ipswich is just a guess at the moment or they will run a squad system.

I been told that Rye House have changed the shape of the track removed all the banking and made it flatter? is that for stock car racing or to make the just like Kent, all there home advantage has now gone, seems a bit silly to me. But i guess the Eastbourne boys will get to grips with it pretty soon.

Niall could not catch me if he was trying his best, the smoke from my fag and the wind in my face i would ride away into the distance to the finishing line. cant wait to see what happens in practice, now Niall is not an Eastbourne rider does that mean he wont be allowed to practice, as i am sure that the Eastbourne boys alone will be the only riders on the track this year up until the season starts. I think they play a lot more tricks that we dont always notice, one of the ones was to spot a rider in the photos a bit like where is Wally, that went on for a few months then they changed it to the team manager and it was never the same as i could always spot him for some reason it was the hair that was the give away.

Oh i have a moped thats i use must nights for pizza delivery, Fastest delivery in the south, by the time its out the oven into the box and a few speed bumps later i am at the door, sometimes i take the longer ride around just to make sure it arrives cold lol. i am sure i give Niall a run for my money if i was able to ride a speedway bike, as long as a modification was made for a pizza box on the back with my sponsors on it.

But what Drury has thought about it long term is that Ethan Spiller has a good chance to come to Eastbourne rather then anywhere else so he was making sure that he stopped that in the future as he knows that Eastbourne could change there team around during the season if needed. Again i dont think they can stop an English passport holder racing for an English club and to ask them to sign a bit of paper that would not stand up in any European court of law is a joke. I have a feeling that Zac is going to struggle this year mainly on the confidence front, Having to go to PL tracks and being at reserve will help but it does mean he will be racing against BWD even though he is in his own team along with the likes of Newman, Ellis just to mame a few will make it be of a reality check. To go to places and expect to score well then again to go to the NL and be a number one takes a special kid and we forget he is very young. But good luck to him he is a nice kid and wish him well.

Yeah so you say, dont worry your see smoke out my arse when you kiss it they say the truth hurts, Spiller is English and he put bums on seats, nothing wrong with that, funny how Birmingham also wanted him but the race night didnt agree with his plans, whos to say he might move over to the Uk and live here just to take up his speedway racing, Drury didnt worry about when he was racing in Germany way back in his day as he didnt have a team place in the UK he was quick enough to go to Europe and take the oppitunity, why try to stop and English lad who lives in Germany ride in the UK. Its got to be better for the league and British speedway to get better if we have better riders, if we sit around at the bottom of the sport then we will always be at the bottom. Robert Lambert ended up going to Germany to improve his racing nobody complained about that.

Really do you think Tom is ready for it, If i was to roll up at the set of lights in my car and see a kid who looks like he has just got out of school i drag race him across the lights just to show them whos boss lol, the kids in the back love it the only problem i get is when my fag smoke blows in my face. Seems like we are going to run a squad this year of about 10 riders, Dugard, Spiller boys, Cottham, and i am sure there is a few in there as well hidden for the just in case problems that always arise during the season.

Run a second half like they use too in the old days snowball final at Eastbourne way back in the 80s, using the team to test stuff if they needed mixed in with the youngsters on the 150s and 250cc. back to grass roots again
