Looking back at the History i think your find that way way back Eastbourne started speedway in the so called NL and then progressed up but to be honest they always did well in the 70s until they tried to go with the big boys and its never really worked for them. 77, 78 were one of the best years along with 85, 86, 87 were also good. i have to say i have enjoyed the NL in 2015 but really this is the second division of the British League. Scrap the EL make the PL the new EL and then make the NL the new PL. but we all know thats not going to happen

Think your find Dave Mason did it last year and turned up at Arlington with a tan a week later? it was also a real tan as he didnt look orange and he was telling the people around him how nice it was in spain. But as its proved again RR is pants but there are no unattached 3 pointers left and as for number 8 let them have a go or Draft in the kids from the British Youth for a meeting like Breannan and Bickley and Whitmore, Dicken, Even at this age no reason why you cant use them as they are all racing loud and proud at the moment, they are on the same bikes same engines, and they want to progress. Dont kill them with an age limit as it will stop them going forward, Look at Robert Lambert.

The only thing is that this was a not a fixture for Eastbourne knowing Phillips was missing but maybe Kent could not make any other date. well looking at the Videos on Face Book i have to say i dont think its that long before Tom Brennan will get out on the track he will pick up a few points and learn his way around, i have to say that Andrews will be able to come back soon along with Hughes but who knows whats going on in the minds of the promoters, We have only lost a challange matches, the team has been changed more then ever before, Adam is the signing of the season no question, i would be a bit more worried of what Kent did at Mildenhall after Mildenhall lost 2 of the riders and the so called 747 had a meeting like that, runing scared as the fat controller said from kent? wait until kent have a team problem for some reason and lets see how they can build it up.

Nice to see Len still has the fire. He loves the banta also loves to promote the sport. I think Len is right and if he had done the same Team Dugard would be out there prams too. Looking at the signing of Adam is great, Harris will do ok. Won't be long before Brennan can ride Little Spiller too. So you can see why other teams are worried. Ellis , Ethan Spiller, Wood, Perks, knight, Brennan, or Harris / Powell / Phillips. Could be the way to go running scared I think not fighting our way to the top yes, But if you put the young Dugard and old Silver to work together those 2 would make the league. This is the place to be.

I think if Harris gets some of the help that Eastbourne can give him with bike set ups and the lines they ride he really only needs to pick up a few points a meeting. Or with 3 riders on 3 points he will make a good reserve but it will kill either Nick or Charlie in the team. I guess another problem to contend with.

I see ben had his first match last night not a bad night for him lucky in heat 15 with the miss fortune of whats his name, but at least Ben went on to win it, any news on whats going on in the world of team building a bit like lego all little bricks ( and i mean bricks) all the same colours yellow and blue ).

I think you have also missed the point the Plymouth had closed which means the riders have no contract to any club and would have been out of work so it ment that he could have signed for an NL team then a PL team but as we are all aware now that they are up and running. Good news for Plymouth and bad Luck for Eastbourne, but it ment that Ben had to go which has worked out well for Ben but if it all worked out would have been better for the club so i guess thats the reason they moved that direction thinking that they could get a replacement for the unlucky Hughes. But again we are not 100% sure thats what they are doing? Hopwood was not at his best but still a long season but i have a little bit of faith in the management that something we have all missed and they are just waiting for the correct window to open but i think we have more chance of winning the lottery

I don’t think it had anything to do with a sponsor what so ever, from what i have heard that if Plymouth had closed which the press stated was correct then it was the perfect opportunity to swoop like an Eagle and grab the only rider that would be able to fit in the side to replace the injured Hughes with a reshuffle, who would think that Plymouth would have risen from the ashes to continue the 2016, If the Management had not moved we would have all had a moan at them but they made a move and not paid off, Good news that Ben had found another team but seems that Eastbourne have got stuck in the Brown sticky stuff, well at the end of the day I am sure something will be sorted but to who and what they are waiting for is another question? Good result for Kent shows that they are ready and willing and the team are doing well, i think the big match will be the one at Eastbourne on 9th April as both side have won away in style.

Rob has too many commitments with the Long track, and Grass track as i asked him if he was interested in the NL but he said no, Rob didnt have a good night at Lakeside i said he didnt look good at lakeside but even Rob on a bad day is still worth 10 points in the NL. But have to say its good that Eastbourne are willing to make changes and have done but it looks like Kent are going to be the team to beat at the moment. Kings Lynn away wednesday should be a good one of us.

mmm I think it had to be Nielsen as well as they made all the moves in that direction, I guess now in everyones books is that who would have expected Plymouth to reopen with the state of speedway, but who is to say that Eastbourne can carry on running a Guest for the time being until something comes to mind, Plymouth is good news for the sport but not for the Eagles, So lets look at what else can happen, Hurry is a go but not sure what his average is converted, Roynon also, and Jacobs but saying that jacobs was not very good at Kings Lynn the other day. is there something to say you get an extra 10% on the average for a guest or a number 1 has someone said that to me to make me think again?

Just seen this on the GB website seems they are cracking down on filiming STATEMENT: FILMING/STREAMING Thursday March 31, 2016 THE BSPA would like to remind all fans that it is illegal to stream any portion of meetings without prior permission from the Association. In recent weeks there has been an increase in the number of occasions when meetings have been shown using the app Periscope. This is a breach of copyright, is against our agreement with BSkyB and GSI, and will be taken very seriously by all clubs within the Sport. Anyone found to be live streaming meetings without prior agreement will be banned from attending matches across the leagues. As a sport it is important we embrace the ever-changing world of social media, but at the same time we also have to protect our product. Yeah but they go on his last years PL average not his NL average depending which one of them is the highest.

Boxhall is not allowed back into the NL as his PL average is too High i guess its going to be a problem for them to find a replacement, but have to wait and see lets see maybe we will find someone Andy Graham lol cant use Alan as he was hurt last year.

Hurry is back on the grass track this year and i guess if he wants to ride again then i would like to think he is a good 10 point rider a meeting just with his talent and skill. But who knows who its going to be as its gone very quite.

Ellis is local and is track record holder, He belongs to Lakeside like the rest of the Eastbourne team now? so a few kinds words to him may point him in the right direction, seeing as if there is not many saturday night EL meetings so no reason why he cant do a few meetings. If not Hurry would be good but i thougth he was getting married in April and away on Honeymoon?
