  1. Good meeting at home against Cradley. Well done to the boys love the blue and yellow smoke on the victory lap well done lads it's back to last year atmosphere. Loved heat 13 and 15 was special.
  2. What a might or should I say knight lol. Fantastic heats 13 and 15 a real buzz tonight back to as it was last year. A few good points on the board but even better to show the other teams that we are slowly getting to the top again. Bad luck for Cottham but it will give him time to repair his damaged bike.
  3. Reading with interest and wonder who to pick i guess it could be RR if nobody is avalible, wonder if Richard Hall is allowed for a meeting. wonder who we could use? Dan Bewley if perks is not there lol.
  4. Yeah i think your right as i remember them saying Gary senior and Jnr at an event last year and i cant see that there are many suranems with Cottham in Sussex and in the speedway game.
  5. I Dont really care as long as we have speedway and good racing and Eastbourne win, i would like to see Kelsey have a good meeting but i think the score at the IOW yesterday against soke was a false score
  6. Any News on Nick when he is going to return? As he must be fit enough now, and the problems they had with charlies bike seems sorted so looks like the boat has almost stopped rocking, come on the Eagles need a good performance this week.
  7. Halsey is out just topping up the orange tan with the sunshine today
  8. Is that right that Jake Knight is racing tonight for Mildenhall? that will make it a stronger who are they missing.
  9. Just waiting for Mason to go ill or have a problem with his van as he was not very good for Eastbourne round Perry Bar, but i hope its a safe meeting for both sides as it will be a good sign for the rest of the League to see if each other are as good as they have been on the road. fingers crossed for all of those that are going to watch
  10. Good Luck to Ben hope he has a good meeting and hope that things pick up for him and he can find a full team place soon.
  11. Happy to pay extra to see Adam at Eastbourne Maybe thats the point Eastbourne have started to climb the ladder again with Adam. Other memebers are starting to worry, what a wonderful world we live in. I think the more you knock Eastbourne the stronger the force behind the team behind the curtain is working hard to push away anything that stands before them, last time i was talking to someone who works as a helper as Eastbourne said there is something special about to happen in 3 weeks time but would not tell me anymore on that, could it be Spiller, or could it be someone we have over looked. worried but also very interested in whats the plans for them.
  12. well i have to say how stupid it was to put it on the web in the first place, a man or no would have not apologised if he thought he was right but i can say he had made himself look a bit silly with his foolsih coments, If i was a promoter of a speedway team and a league sponsor was jumping up and down about how good another team was and his team lost i would wonder what other strings he is trying to pull behind the curtains?
  13. Not very Impressed with James Easter with the comments below, I am afraid that he has now set an all time low of putting his feelings across the internet and social media, i thought there were rules against this sort of thing and him being a League sponsor for the Nl your think having a top rider in that League would promote it, I would go and watch Wayne Rooney play at my local football club, only an imbecile would turn away supporters? Nice one Mr Easter hope your not running any tours to see the U21 as i dont think your going to win many poole fans or Adam fans. as for you changing the rules so this never happens again? i dont think you have a say in the matter! unless you have written the rule book. Seems he is slamming the league that he sponsors? (copied with the spelling mistake) from facebook yesterday JAMES EASTER Still not happy with Eastobourne including rider who is virtually a heat leader in teh Elite…. the equivalent of Wayne Rooney playing for Bury Town. Believe me we will ensure this never happens again after this year. It sticks 2 grubby fingers at the ethous of the League…. As a Club we will continue to bring on our own youngsters, the list of young guys who will join the Fen Tigers continues to grow…. We may have lost this round but we will never resort to scrubbing through inadequate rules to win meetings
  14. Seems like a bit of forward planning by Eastbourne to have Adam teach Brennan? but i see where your coming from. The best teaching the rest why not if the cap fits then wear it (as long as it looks cool).
  15. Its ok everyone i have been sick thanks for asking struck me when we lost home and away to Kent then it was made worse by 2 rain offs, anyway i am back and ready to help you lot see sence that the best move the club have done in the last year was to have Adam Ellis and also take the car parking charge off the gate, I used to roll up thinking i get there early before the staff then i open my sandwiches have an afternoon out let the kids run wild in the car park with a football and were all winners i save a £1. Back to the main topic Eastbourne 115 points but it wont go all there way but will have a good result at Mildenhall on Sunday, Wrap up warm tomorrow as snow is on its way
  16. Think your find it was Niall Strudwick had a pop at Nikki P but have to say it all kicked off and i think he wished he never had said anything
  17. I have also seen that Lewis Bridger also done a promo video filmed at Eastbourne, but i guess its keep quite to stop supporters like ourself from seeing whats going on so that the advert looks better, also they dont have to pay for extras standing around the stadium. oh well at least they have all ridden just waiting for Eastbourne to run a match again, but just looked at the forecast and the weather is ok for Saturday and rain for friday but not a lot by the looks of things, saying that we didnt have that much rain here friday and none on Saturday but it was off?
  18. Weather is looking better for tomorrow but depends if its done the damage as it did before, i bet they dont make same mistake and call it off early lol.
  19. Lucky news for Danny at least he can be home by 8 tonight ready for an early night to race against the Eagles lol
  20. we should all meet up for a pint i treat you all after the meeting if Eastbourne win and you will all know who i am dancing around with my Adam Ellis T-Shirt on lol, but i have to day i am also a big Danny fan so i am stuck this week but the winners will be the public that turn up to see what we hope will be a great meeting. Also report were that the IOW had a crowd of about 100 people last night so i can really see that lasting that long. would seem a shame if they never got off the ground. well the forecast is not good for Edinburugh also for susesx tomorrow and not great for Glasgow sunday he could loose out on all the racing poor Danny
  21. He can fly up and down from scotland to Gatwick with Easyjet but thier flight record for being delayed is almost as bad as having to drive.
  22. Guess your right but having not lost to kent at all in 2015 out out i think about 8 meetings i guess you got it right now you know how Eastbourne felt every time we came and whopped your backside and its all good for the sport and the club meand bums on seat and everyone is a winner #speedway #racing #winners
  23. Its going to be a good meeting, close to say the least but will again depend on what happens with the weather, i have been told it rained most of the night last night in sussex and more rain to come in on saturday morning but not at much as last week i hope. I am going for an Eastbourne win by 4 points only for the fact that shanes had a big crash at sheffield last night and will be a bit second hand, and verge will have knocked his confidence, Powell won a race on the IOW last night from 15 meters back so thats a positive. I hope it will be a great match for both sides injury free. key men for Eastbourne will be Georgie Wood and Charley Powell. fingers crossed
  24. I have to agree that some places are ment for the EL and some of them are not, EL is not for Eastbourne, possible at Kent but only because of the location and Stadium. But as far as riders go and the way the speeday is running at the moment at Eastbourne is the way Eastbourne should have been run years ago, make team changes do something different and show people what the costs are not sugar coat it as before and say its going to be ok. Bob was a great with the team but lacked any constructive communication with the fans, Now look at the Club facebook, Twitter, and instragram trying to promote the club and its not from lack of trying. I am here to support them and see the club progress and keep racing at Eastbourne, you didnt hear anything last year of we are going to close we are loosing money all we heard was positive information from the club. Good luck to them but i think its going to be harder this year and the fact that too much was won last year, but i do hope we can whoop kents team at the weekend will stop Len having that wonderful simle across his face.
  25. Would be nice to think that the Eastbourne club could lift themself out of the NL but to be honest why would they, Connor and Martin have done a great job so far at keeping Eastbourne afloat and speedway in the Area, there is nothing to say that may continue and may step up a league but why would they with all the other problems in the other league. Eastbourne did not drop into the league Dugard had closed the speedway and Connor and Martin have started it from the lower end to build it up to see if speedway can survive at any level in sussex, I personally think they have done a good job and the changes they have made have be hard but fair but sometimes a bit of Luck, But the problem is what happens if things change for Connor and Martin where does speedway go then?
