what if george is ok possible to use powell at buxton and gary at coventry? now we can see how other teams struggle to find a good 3 pointer, Matt Sauly didnt look very good no wonder kent didnt use him in the end, Studwick got blown away by Brennan on a 250cc then went on to blame that he was exhausted due to the heat? one race wonder Niall, wonder how he is going to do all the German and American racing in the heat over there lol. win at Coventry and Buxton i hope, How about a good weekend needed for the boys, Any update on George anyone?
-
Loving the racing and what a find Georgie Woods has been, BWD, as my program from Stoke said Brian ( ) Wilson Dean, i have to say the racing is better and the riders really are enjoying the season.
-
What a great meeting for the new guys, Hopwood l have to say if he was an opposition i rather him on my side then against the way he rode, Garry on the other hand looked nothing like the gary i remember, maybe race rusty but have to say rather unfair to put in the run of the season and expect him to do will with being out of the sport for so long. if it was me i run him for a few meetings until Dugard is fit again, Not sure what the update on Georgie is as that was right in front of me but i was unable to see how he landed. hope he is ok, looking forward to Coventry at the weekend, and onto Buxton sunday. Is it possible that a any other place can be more of a dump then Stoke Speedway. Oh i ment to ask was that BWD dad having a spin or his Grandad?
-
I think it will take Gary a few meetings to settle in, but i am sure if we see someone trying at home and away will be a step forward, i cant wait to see what we do at Stoke, Looking forward to seeing the wheels spinning again at Eastbourne. I did wonder why they had no meeting last week or in 2 weeks time but i did see they had a huge stock car meeting and another one due, so i guess thats why speedway had to go on the back burner, just proves that speedway was not always going to be number 1 at Eastbourne. But roll on Saturday and Sunday, 2 good results are needed.

You have to be English to ride in the NL you dont need to a visa if you have ancestry rights (right to Abode) also partiality from the grandparents means he is treated like an English man but cant come in to the UK and go on the council house list and use the UK resources, But the problem is that Yes he is in the NL and they have told him he can ride in the PL but on an assessed average of 5, Same and Gino last year, but the big problem is that he should be treated like an English man so when the UK immigration look at what rules have been set by the BSPA i think your see his average drop to his converted NL to PL average because as of 2016 he will have a 7 point average, as thats what the BSPA have put on him for 2016 as a common wealth rider. (But he is English) as he in the NL? -

I heard that he is going to change his name to Bradley wilson Goldsmith, Backing will always be with Brad as he is a winner, the sponsors that he has picked up this year will always stay with him as he is an entertainer a great rider and and conducts himself with professionalism, hope he has a future in the sport. -

I have been told that its 4 meetings only to get an average in NL and also that charlie is only doing 1 more meeting after tonight for Birmingham which i think is at Coventry (might be wrong) then he can give his speedway a rest till the end of the season and then we all know he is going to Eastboune. The only problem i can see is that Eastbourne run on a Sunday and Charlie has big meetings on the grass in Europe. So it will either be decision time for the Club or for charlie unless Eastbourne move to a Saturday? -

Wilson Dean wins hands down Zach is good and had also ridden a lot more races in his racing career including grass track then Wilson Dean has only 30 races in a full season back in NZ, They both started the season with accessed averages, Wilson Dean with a 5 and Zach with a 3 (really both have never ridden in the league so should have both been (3) as wilson dean has the paper work to be English. So lets say he was on a 3 pointer as he should have been. Wilson Dean 3 / 5 point average to 10 points in the first month Zach went from 3 to an 8.57 Wilson Dean starts the season at No 4 first average some where Zach is now, Wilson Dean bangs in big scores same as Zach but Zach is at reserve, so a bit of a false average for Zach, Wilson Dean goes to N0 1 for the first average and has only dropped a few points since, Zach gets to have the better starts when he is at N0 4 but when or of Zach goes to N0 1 will really tell you how good he is. But how really cares who is better Zach or Wilson Dean, We the public are just happy to watch both of them race. who is better Ward or Holder? Wilson Dean has not been beaten by Zach this year and has beaten him at his home track and BWD has only been to Perry Barr one time before? why put extra pressure on Zach to prove he is the better one, Wilson Dean is at the age where this is great your talking about him and he does his talking on the Track, Zach will take it as more pressure which is unfair. At the end of the year will be a good comparison with averages and thats it, but more of a worry Birmingham can't afford for Zach to get hurt as he is the trump card for them this year. I wish both riders a happy safe season. -
with Eastbourne do you think that its pure luck or do you think the younger Dugards have more feel for the younger generation of racers, In the past its always been left overs to make a Elite team, I remember that Kent this year was all about Danno in the winter what a signing he was and how great his is going to be his trip to Aus was really going to turn him into something special and to be honest i think that its killed his ambition. The Dugards are very Raw at this in the young ones and you can see they want to make a big go of it and they will change sides and teams if they need to and their eyes are very much open on whats going on around them. hats off to them for Hopwood and Cottham, but it seems as if they were talking to cottham way before the season started, With Andrews, Woods, Dugard, Powell, BWD, and possible cottham on the books they have a good side for 2016, If they move the meeting days from Sundays to a Saturday BWD will be able to do 90% of the meetings. Good days. And no sign of the club saying they are loosing money or closing thats great news for a change Pitstop was right on that one, how did he know that Dugard was going to get hurt at Mildenhall?
-
Interesting about Dugard and Cottham, Very convenient that Martin Dugard had a 3rd bike in the pits that was fitted for Gary at Mildenhall, I am surprised that the Dugards are thinking so far in advance, i did see cottaham at Kent last week maybe he was going to get a ride there and because of Daves Masons crash he never got a ride because of the Curfew, I bet Len Silver will be mad another local boy has gone to Eastbourne. I am sure there are a lot of kids out there who love to ride but dont have the equipment or the help that Eastbourne are offering. Time to win some silverware. #eagles
-
I am also gutted for Kelsey as he has not really done to much wrong, he has put his average up so he should at this level. He is the same age as Zach and only a year younger than Lambert cut he is not in the same class as them yet, Maybe time to get fit again and look at how well he started at the start of the year when he was cracking. A new sticky seat would not go a miss. Cottaham looks as if he is going to get some help from the Eastbourne management which is what the club is all about. I think the bigger picture is starting to unfold, Martin and Connor will not sit back and watch the hard work they have done just slip away, We are so close now for some silver ware. Bring it on
-
well depends how you look at it all, Cottaham vs Dugard in a race i say its got to be pretty much equal, the big question is how many times can someone fall off before they get hurt? i have been to most of the meetings and seen kelsey crash a lot more then he should, most of the fall seem to be a silly falls because he is learning the trade. so looking at it from a business point of view we could have won at some of the tracks if kelsey had stayed on, which we could have but we didnt. Thats all ifs and buts. I have to say that i think its a very brave move but again Eastbourne have moved very fast to change the side around. With Hopwood being his first meeting in 9 weeks he rode well, Owen looks as if he is getting back to his best, Wilson Dean head and shoulders above everyone, Andrews unluckiest rider around, Woods an outstanding find and Bates looking a little bit less then normal. Cottham a good replacement but if its a knee problem it could take a few weeks? I say he is a rider that will give the team 110% and this is where the friendship goes out the window and business heads come on, Eastbourne wont ever win anything on friendship and thats where they made the mistake for the last 15 years at the club. New team in charge and like they have said changes will be made? Its nice to see that they are not afraid to make a change, i have read the report on the web and for kevin Jolly to be interested in Cottham after only a few laps must have shown that he was on the Gas. Best wishes to Dugard, Andrews and Ruddick

Anyone got a price of a ticket or any idea as that will be fantastic to be at the AMEX but must be a sensible price I could only £30 for a ticket. What sort of price do you think the AMEX event would be.?
-
Does anyone know anything about the End of season party that the club are doing, I have heard they are going to the Amex Staduim? sound like its going to be a good night for Team and Fans, I would like to go if anyone can give me some info if they have it.
-
How come then that Georgie Wood never been on a speedway bike till this season and local lad to Kent goes and rides for Eastbourne, Charlie Powel also a local Lad signed for Eastbourne must mean they are doing something right and Kent are not. I know that George had bikes from Eastbourne and some Equipment to use but they have used that as an investment for the future, the knock on effect is that George must have told Charlie and so on, all i can say is that the Eastbourne boys love CP and always seem to go well there. wonder how many other kids want to go to Eastbourne because they are being treated like a speedway rider and not a number, Grass Roots speedway. Look after the seeds and the grass will grow. (which direction it grows is another thing)
-
BWD can do another season with him as he will have the pickings as where to ride (not a weekend track) means he will do 90% of the season, Also means then Wood, Dugard, will be in the team as they are not ready to move up, followed by Powel, Brennan. and not forgetting Richard Andrews who is now an Eastbourne Asset, so it looks like Eastbourne are already set for 2016 with out too much trouble, just need one more person to take up with BWD to steady the ship. Kent have the pickings of all the young riders at the Rye House when len runs the training schools, Easy come for len he only has to overcome his son to see who they pick between them.
-
I had a look on the updates and i was also told that CP did great last night, also his fall while leading was due to the start marshall left the cone in the track for the tapes which charlie hit on his way past on the second lap. Good result for Charlie but he can only do 3 matches or he get an average which will kill it for Eastbourne next year as a 3 pointer.
-
Thats still with in the 5 year plan Not sure if charlie is ready at the moment thats why Eastbourne are giving him some time to get ready, I know that he spends a lot of time at the weekend in Europe on the Grass track, Possible too much of a big hit for him tonight but fingers crossed he can get a few points tonight. Come on Charlie
-
your right tom has not been on a 500cc yet, I think he has a big meeting coming up soon on his 250cc with the British Championship then i think he has put his name forward to go to France for the 250cc championship, i am sure after that he will be on a 500 maybe before? Put a small seat on BWDs bike or use Masons as they must be low enough.
-
For 2016 i can see Charlie Powell, Tom Brennan and in 2017 Nathan Ablitt, Jason Edwards, when we had the Fans meeting at the Start of the year it was going to be a five year plan and it looks that way. First year seems to be a good one so far they just need to keep it up. I think there is a lot more thats going on in the background at the Club, I am pleased to say that lots of things that i have seen has been attacked by the new management which i am so pleased about, Just need to pick up a couple of away wins and then we be up on table again. roll on to Mildenhall this weekend stuff the GP i am going to Mildenhall
-
More like that Lakeside go NL to join Eastbourne, Kent, Rye House, Mildenhall,
-
Andrews has found some form again, Dugard looked steady yesterday, BWD is on a different level, George wood only his 12th Speedway meeting ever, Owen looks to be making steady progress again, Mattie Bates looks as if he is a dark horse, and now with Ben Hopwood looks a very strong side all the way through. Very fast work from the Eagles, also i noticed yesterday that 90% of the starts were made by the eagles, they had gone forward on a really slick starts they hit the set up well before the Kent did.
