I think the way George and Andrews were moving around at Kent they are not far from being fit even an unfit woods and Andrews is better than a fit Strudwick, maybe a practice would sort them out but as we all know that the Eagles will have a practice before Birmingham or on the day of the meeting possibly. Roll on Sunday let the league be settled, Good luck to both teams but my with my Eastbourne hat on and spitfire spiller the eagles will win by 8 -
Connor Dugard had matured well in just over ¾ of a season and has got his eye on silver ware along with the rest of the team that’s behind him, The programme man puts out the best programme in the 3 leagues, the stadium is nice and tidy for every meeting, the speedway team is a full on happy team from 1 to 10 with all the riders who have ridden and also help out even when they are injured, George wood and Richard Andrews at Kent, Also to see Martin in the pits on the spanners and connor at Rye House and Kent, Another big thing is to see the Club sponsor Paul Goldsmith from ITFirst in the pits and watching from the banking at Kent. Paul has given his knowledge to both the Dugards and it is showing how positive the club has become, We have not had anything on how bad the club is doing and every report in the speedway star and media is all positive news. The word positive and positive input is driving the team Good moves on the team front all year, and the team is getting better, BWD has keep the team strong every meeting, being backed up by Owen and Hopwood, Help in the early stages by George wood until he was injured, Mattie Bates looks to be out for a while but Spiller have come straight in and covered for him. All systems go and looking from the outside it’s a positive the club has been for 15 years, I would have to say thanks to the sponsors to show the light from a different direction. No doom and Gloom in the camp this year.

Alex i think your right in Gustrow 9 hour drive accoriding to google maps so plenty of time to get back to the Uk and maybe he will fly back and have one bike here already so i cant see it being a problem. -
The other thing to take into consideration that there is a lot of 500cc engines around rather then 250cc engines and the cost of a 500cc second hand is more tempting then holding onto a 250cc for longer or up to the age limit. I think personally they should be allowed at the age of 14 so they have time to practice on them and then they can go into the NL being use to a 500cc at the age of 15.

Where is the meeting as the u21 in Germany was on the 7th of June? and the Final is in Denmark? -
Eastbourne are being digged on the Kent home page? so i will pass it onto the Eastbourne page. Now this is funny, not only had Len been beaten at Rye House and Kent he is having a dig at the rules? The rider who held a German racing licence right up until late last week scored an unprecedented paid 20 points from the seven rides he could take as a reserve: But Spiller used a German licence when he rode in the Youth rounds in 2013 and also when he did the under 19 at Coventry. headed only once by a SLYDE Kings’ rider. It was an amazing second only appearance on a National League track for the rider who is based in Vilsheim in Germany and rides also in the German First Division. A grade C rider who only rides against a grade C riders (A riders are international riders) (B riders are German riders) (C riders are youth riders) 6 riders per team and only c riders race each other. Having ridden in German national championships since his very earliest junior days in 2007 up to an appearance in the Under 21s there last year and riding under a German licence, the initial decision when the Eastbourne club sought to add the Maidstone-born racer. (Born in Maidstone and both Parents are English and lived in Kent all the family are British Citizens) to their squad at this relatively late stage of the CGNL campaign was to say he was not eligible. (But no reason was given apart from that he had ridden in a German championship but so other riders ridden in there state championships in the past and was not in the rule book.) An appeal though saw the British Speedway Promoters Association’s (BSPA) Management Committee overturn that decision and so the 17-year-old has been able to make this sensational mark on British third tier racing in his first two matches for the Eagles. Kent co-promoter Len Silver commented, “I intend to point out to the Management Committee when I attend their meeting later this week the consequences of their decision. One which I don’t think is consistent with the rules and how they’ve been applied in other cases. (no rules have been broken, just means that Len missed out) It was highly debatable if young Daniel was eligible at all considering the licence he held and that he has consistently ridden in the national championships for the country where he held that licence – in this case Germany. (But he did all the British Youth Rounds) (British Passport) as the rule book states But if one accepts that he is eligible to appear in the CGNL, we feel that he should’ve been treated the same as the other national champion from another country appearing in the division this year, ironically also an Eastbourne Eagles man, Bradley Wilson-Dean. As NZ Under 21 champion Wilson-Dean was given an assessed average of five points – whereas Spiller has been able to ride at reserve. (Spiller can come in on a 3 and cover for Dugard but he came in and covered for a 5.8 average rider Mattie Bates) so Eastboune are right with what they have done and can still change. Having seven rides and scoring 17 points (paid 20) has had a devastating effect on what otherwise showed every likelihood of being a close match. (All ifs and Buts to be honest not Kent have never beaten Eastbourne or looked close to it so far this year.) Nothing against young Daniel who was quite superb out there tonight and looks an exceptional talent, a rider who hopefully will play a significant part in the future of British Speedway – but we expect a level playing field when it comes to the application of league rules and we don’t feel that’s what we’ve seen here with this decision”. (No rules have been broken and you need to look outside the box to make it work) Len then goes on to say he is a significant part in the future of British Speedway so he is English? Have a look around you len as your killing Rye House and your doing a good job at Kent slowly Killing it too

Len wont read it as he does not want to hear the truth -
some one at kent told me last night that there is going to be another move on the cards from the Eastsboune camp but not sure which way its going to go. Who will be first back from injury, Mason, Andrews, Woods to fill up the R/R place.
-
Yep but Vatcher wants to drop the age but the BSPA and ACU say no , lets take in for example Anders Rowe and Jack P Blackburn Bickley Dicken Brennan should all be able to ride a 500cc bike now, They can apply for licence which allows them to ride a 500cc but only againsts under under 16 youth riders, What a joke that is as they are then only going to race against themselfs again weather is a 125, 250, 500, They need to get out there with the second half boys so they can get some track time and race against better riders to improve. Need to up the game so they are not left behind for another year.

I talked to Daniel last night and his father works for a German forklift company and is specialists in big forklift trucks and lifting equipment and is one of the top technicians with in the company, I didn’t get the name and Daniel never had it on his Kevlar. Also last night Daniels mums sister was in the Crowd as they only live in Shorne. What a small world an English Family supporting an English man thats because they are all English. -
Pitstop there is nothing wrong with Heart radio but i have been told that Uckfield FM on a Thursday with Steve Crow is one of the funniest shows i have heard, He is an out and out speedway fan for Eastbourne and just loves to blast it across the radio.

Wow what a great end to the season for all the right reasons, Spiller or danielson they have called him has taken some of the weight of BWD shoulder which will allow him to have an easier meeting with out the pressure to carry the team, BWD has done a great job all year and looks to now be the out and out number one rider in the league, cant wait for Birmingham to come to Eastbourne, and have a feeling that Eastbourne could nick a win away at Birmingham with the way the team rode at Kent.

I think with Len its just upset not only have Eastbourne turned over Rye House at the Weekend then went to Kent and had a very convincing meeting making his side look silly all with in the rules nothing broken, like you said about Mattie Bates may have to have a knee operation so spiller has replaced him, again the Dugard must have seen that coming, I have to say they seem a bit more switched on then the older team of Geer, Bellaby and Bob Dugard. Looks that Spiller is going to be a big hit with the fans too. -

Shame for Danyon as he is a flat out style, a very brave rider but really needs to go back to basics with the way he enters the turn, Please to see him get up and push the bike off the track, the ref should need shooting as he must have seen him on the floor, not to stopt the race and then to find out later he has boken his wrist, REF you need to go to spec savers. -

The guy with the Keys was Warren Scotts right hand man, He did tell Luke to remove himself from the stadium which words went backwards and forwards between them, a lot of unrest in Rhe House camp but can only have come from the conflict in the management. I have been there a few times and can see the way len and Andrew fight and have to say that Len is not always correct, but back to the meeting great win by the Eagles and a good meeting to watch.
