One of the attendance problems for Newcastle is that in the past they have had a good side , nobody else rode the track well so they were used to winning heavily, now that they are not the crowds do not take to not winning big easily. I really hope that they can get some riders in & survive. Speedway needs aM Newcastle is needed by Speedway, always for me they should be in the big league where the big city clubs should be

Well Newcastle much stronger with a guest & RR. I think that Newcastle will win , we hopefully can get a point or two, not a track that Charles likes but hopefully we will put up a good show

Roynon did well with the reserves, Andersen very poor again

I fear that the Bears 2nd strings will be the underlying reason for the loss of this tie

Dreadful performance from a 3 man Redcar team , Roynon & Andersen were really poor , Ben Morley did well , Allen showed he was no loss when he went back to Scunthorpe. Great battling performance from Edinburgh, would not be surprised if they win on Sunday as Only Riss ,Wright & Kerr can get out of the gate

A lot of pressure on Adam Roynon, needs to stay injury free , I think Kasper will up his average , just have to keep telling him he is riding for Berwick against bears !, I also think that Eric Riss will score better than MPT & the same applies to Lewis over Jake who I felt lost the plot a bit at the end

I am a Redcar follower but I do not want to see Newcastle shut down, The problem is for many years of having teams who battered everyone the fans do not want anything else. Plus What Rob Grant did with the track also took away a massive home advantage, At least I hope they can stay alive with a junior side but no doubt the rent would kill that. Hope something can keep them alive ….

My first time at Cleveland Park was 1962 v Sheffield, over the years we have had good teams & poor teams, the modern era IE as Redcar has been much the same , however the current promotion is probably the best we have had since Tim Swales in the mid eighties. I was surprised when these Changes were announced, but it gives us a chance of going further in this season. If Ben & Jade have decided on these changes then for me I will back them all the way. UTB.
