This is going to be a great meeting , lot depends on the guests . Reserves will be very important as both of Peterboroughs go well at STMSP
-
Barker has been superb for team spirit, that's 3 four point away wins so far...

Scunthorpe V Redcar 2/7/17

You still have to win them, Scunthorpe beat Sheffield 2 weeks ago. We also have won twice at Scunthorpe where Glasgow have not won... Mind I would swap the 2 Scunthorpe wins for 2 @ Newcastle!! -

Another 4 points in the bag, that's the best away record in the league , how did we drop points at home to Workington? Peterborough on Thursday looks like being a cracker.. -
I think Sedgeman is replacing Ellis !!
-
Maybe some good will come of this as when he signs for someone else Redcar will have priority!!!! Strangest decision in my opinion.

Just in case , lookng doubtful IMO

Tough on Berwick with injuries , we have had a few as well . Once again our reserves were excellent, then again the whole team was . Hope it improves for Berwick. -

52-40 to Redcar, would have been more if Garrity had ridden. Riss was impressive, Masters good as usual Redcar reserves 10. Monarchs reserves 4. Good solid performance from Redcar , Barker excellent as was Jons Andersen, Apart from the top 2 Monarchs we're average. They could still have got a point with a 5-1 in Heat 15. Tremendous stuff from Barker & Jonas. -

Given their home track advantage I was surprised that Newcastle did not sneak home last night. The RR for SW was giving plenty of strength. I do not watch them every week so I do not know where the actual weaknesses are. The most apparent one is the Reserves, Chopping & Changing for riders of the same ability will never be a recipe for success. Last Thursday I thought that Lindgren,Rose & Morris were as inconsistent as each other but at home they should be ok given as I have said the home track advantage. When Redcar go there I expect that we will lose , I hope we fight harder than Newcastle have on their 2 visits to Redcar. Newcastle in my opinion should be in the top league, the most enjoyable times I had watching speedway were when Newcastle were top division & we were in the Second, we got to see all the riders. Then of course we were not in the DU / DD era which is ruining the sport

To be fair the programme seller at Redcar did tell me it was an insert , Does not make it right , just the insert would have done for me. As there was a collection ongoing thar could have been used as the bulk .

Guests were excellent, big difference.. Redcar Reserves. 13+ 3 Newcastle Reserves - 1
