  1. As long as we compete then the inevitable defeat will not seem as bad , just do want gating tart Lawson to score heavily.
  2. If we gate like we did against Sheffield we will not win
  3. As has been said here du is killing the sport, for me equally killing it is GUESTS . Last week at Redcar Sheffield used Lawson from their nearest rivals Glasgow. What other sport would allow that. If riders are injured tough.. If the riders need more rides , go back to 13 heats & second halves to get their xtra rides , bring back the Golden Helmet etc . Surely the BSPA could sort a sponsor.. The second halves used to be the source of extra rides for the youngsters to monitor the progress
  4. Sheffield deserved their victory, my beef is a general speedway one Guests . & Double ups --- Stop them altogether, they are killing the sport, if riders want extra rides then go back to 13 heats , bring back second halves , maybe get some sponsorship, bring back the Gold & Silver helmet . One league with some measure of rider control , don't say there are not enough riders, plenty available.. What will the situation be when Sheffield win this League & in the play off will have to ride against their sister promotion at Leicester ?
  5. Another good show from Danny Ayre's , getting better all the time
  6. The absence of JBA has tilted this in favour of Sheffield.
  7. I watched on TV, not a bad meeting but very little overtaking , Illustrates the fact that a Championship side that Somerset are can beat what is now a championship side at Lynn. Why we have 2 leagues is mystifying. Lynn have 4 Doublers & Somerset 6 ..... All the doubling up does is make more money for the riders, does not improve them by riding at a higher level. If the 2 leagues remain next year I would doubt that Kings Lynn will stay at top level ,
  8. Delighted for Redcar, after what we have been through for the last few years we seem to be getting there. Plus the least number of team changes in the league ..
  9. There were no extenuating circumstances in Redcar v Glasgow, just one aresole -- Vatcher
  10. Decent meeting some close racing, pity about Etheridge.
  11. Good meeting, I thought Harris could not gate, he made 6 here .
  12. When did Workington folk need air horns to make a racket
  13. This means only the big fast track riders have a chance. .. Redcar or Scunthorpe
  14. The reason that there are so many empty seats is the same reason that there are such low gates @ British speedway tracks - PRICES. Make it cheaper , also have the meeting on a Saturday afternoon to allow people to be able to get there & Back easier.
  15. Craig Cook - now aged 30 - Sorry will never hack it at this level
  16. Great meeting , Garrity not fit , cost us in the end ,
  17. It has stopped now in Hartburn & the forecast has changed showing only 1 afternoon shower. Unfortunately the TS6 forecast shows rain up to 16:00 May change
  18. The Well the forecast has changed, now raining quite heavily (5 Miles from the track) & forecast until Around 16:00 . Rather it was off than a wet gaters paradise which would certainly favour the opposition
  19. Well much as I do not like to say so I think Peterborough will have a bit too much tonight .Their choice of guests does not weaken them in the least . With Toby Busch back we should have had the reserves advantage but as his track activity since his injury has been minimal I think we may for once have a disadvantage at reserve. Plus the fact that Simon Lambert has a liking for Redcar. Jason Garrity is back but a lack of track time will I believe reduce his score. I hope of course that we win , however I feel we may not have enough. No matter what this season has been brilliant for us considering the last two seasons , so onwards & upwards , keep pushing.
  20. Has Tobias been practising at MPA this week?
