Bucking the trend Redcar crowd is up 25% this year , track is good , racing good & promotion treat the crowd well with a smile not a scowl as in previous seasons...

There are plenty of riders start and make a list , I will do one later as I am busy

Next season British Speedway HAS to go 1 league on set days. Maybe a couple of teams will drop to National level. I think that for the first season Rider Control will be required. For once the promoters need to think about the future of the sport . Stop the double ups Do not allow houseroom for the crazy idea of Chapman for unlimited guests .. UTB

After all that with RR they are not weakened at all with their home strength -
Newcastle V Redcar 3/9/17
Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The rider situation here just sums up the mess that British Speedway is in . Until the double ups are stopped it is a matter of time before the whole lot goes ** up, especially when you read the Chapman article in the Star this week where he wants unlimited guests ,.. We have to go 1 league next season with 2 Race nights. If we don't then the sport is dead. To achieve this we may have to have a rider allocation for the first season , but needs must. Can't make it tonight , Redcar should get something from it but i will be surprised. Whatever UTB Hope all riders stay safe -
Ipswich V Redcar Saturday
Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
There are plenty of riders out there, problem is with averages , Coty Garcia rode for whilst Busch was injured , Busch is injured again , why not allow Coty back, he did nothing wrong in his time at Redcar -
Redcar have missed texting once..

Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Turned into a bit of a rout, Only Rory & Kyle offering anything apart from King in a terrific heat 13 . No weak spots for Redcar , No doubt Ipswich will get revenge on Saturday. Crowd & track very good tonight. -

Doolan is useful around Redcar , who can take Heeps rides ? Pity about no Sedgman , after his time at Redcar he would have got a good welcome - not.... -
Note that Rye fans who were knocking Barker are not praising him now he is going well, we at Redcar appreciate him but please don't get him injured !! UTB

Lasse Bjerre. Refusal To Ride.
Norfolk Bear replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Lasse Bjerre reliable, you are having a laugh , he fell out with another rider at Redcar last season & then proceeded to drop his average from 8.5 to 6.5 with 2017 in mind. That's reliable.... -
Who Are Your Five Improvers,?

Ellis Perks has added 3 points to his average -
That however is what speedway needs to do Back to upright engines where throttle control comes in Stop the gardening at the gate After a tape infringement straight back to the start Stop the double ups / Downs Back to 13 heats & second halves All common sense but dreams I am afraid

Norfolk Bear replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think he prefers riding at Newcastle where nobody else does hence easier races . -
Redcar V Edinburgh 24/8/17
Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The banking at Redcar can produce great overtakes, as has been previously mentioned the main problem at all tracks are these lay down flat out machines which take the rider rather than vice versa . The days of throttle control have gone because of the desires for sheer speed which rarely makes for better racing. -
Redcar V Edinburgh 24/8/17
Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The big problem at Newcastle is the shape, needs widening all around therefore reducing the straights length -
Redcar V Edinburgh 24/8/17
Norfolk Bear replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Very difficult, I hate going to Newcastle, the track is still terrible but Worrall & Lambert ride it well , our main hope there is that the reserves score heavily, can't see Ben , Jason is Charles scoring well there. Be happy with a couple of points. Reserves were again a major factor in last nights victory plus that terrific ride from JBA to get around Riss -

Once again the Glasgow fans at Redcar were great, they gave great applause to all riders. Wish I could say the same for myself -

Fantastic match, what are the Glasgow fans opinions on the performance of the gating tart after his performance here last week for Sheffield.the only win he got tonight was due to a mistake .that looked like the Lawson who underperformed when riding for us.. -
