  1. Well that's one of the down sides to signing young emerging talent, can't have it both ways. I'm sure we will be able to cover for him.
  2. Great night again last night with guests Simon Stead & Richie Worrall, to see a packed out hall on a bitterly cold evening in Glasgow was tremendous, highlight for me was the announcement of 17 year old Jack Smith, son of 3 times British champion Andy, He will join Glasgow as an asset and will come in on a very handy 2 point average. Might find it tough going initially but as the season goes on I fully expect him to play a very important part in the quest for trophies in 2017, Welcome to Glasgow Jack. Summers, Worrall, Lawson and Smith so far, ouch lol
  3. Just been posted on our official website that season ticket prices will remain the same as last season but it will include an extra 4 meetings for 2017, fantastic gesture to the supporters, I believe it works out at just over £11.50 per home meeting. Available to buy at the clubs first winter event this Friday where the 4th rider for 2017 will be announced. Happy days!
  4. Jeez oh, I come on and give an honest opinion on how I think the Berwick team is for 2017 and I get verbally attacked for doing so! When the Glasgow team is complete I fully expect people to comment on it too, is that not what a forum is all about?
  5. None, he hasn't been injured, Wells definite plus Masters the two German brothers and M Davey and maybe Sedgeman eh.
  6. Not sure about this team, Berge made a big average jump this season, that's why Sheffield probably didn't want him back, Doolan ok, Bridger, is he a number 1?, Chessell been about for ever, at 27 years of age is there any improvement? I love Berwick as a club but every year there fans get carried away as there team gets announced and it always fails to deliver, I hope I'm wrong but doesn't do it for me, good luck though.
  7. I'm sure they would have just got the limit to 41 or whatever Rob Godfrey and co needed for 2017 lol
  8. Yeah Scunny look competitive like they did in 2016, the 71 19 thrashing they received at a very long tail Glasgow side has really got us all worried with there totally new look 2017 team. Lol I have a feeling most clubs will go for more big hitters and we will see many 2 point reserves, watch this space!
  9. If so it will have been an illegal approach as Workington have first call on him till 30th November. Surely the former chairman and current president of the BSPA wouldn't be involved in that! Lol
  10. Clear out at the Dale, what chance Ricky Wells or Roo boy to replace him?
  11. Mark Riss will be a 4, how are you not getting this lol
  12. No they won't, if they have averaged under 4 that's what they will be rounded up to , if they have for example a 4.50, that's what average they will start with.
  13. Campton not a 5 as he's a visa sponsored rider? Different from a European I think.
  14. Who's to say the next signing will be no3 in the averages, if it's Worrall he would be 2nd in the averages, agree our tail could be long if we go with 3 biggies, although that depends on who we are after or who we get. Summers finishing top of our averages means he starts at 1 next season, he is our best team rider and pairing him with a rider who has great potential could be the key to our success!
  15. Jack Smith, Tom Bacon, JPB to name but a few
  16. I think if it had been left at 42.5 the likes of Berwick and Workington might have not made it to the tapes in 2017, also means the power is now back in the hands of the promoters unlike previous seasons when there wasn't really enough available riders.
  17. Sissis is an overseas riders who can no longer return on a 3.79
  18. Smith and JPB will start at 2 next season, fact!
  19. I think it's a positive start from the new chairman, it won't be fixed over 1 or 2 years but it's a step in the right direction, Somerset won't be a Leicester of the new premiership that's for sure, plus they will have much less travel,
  20. Sheffields guests certainly improved there team last night, Berge scored 0 in the league fixture and I believe Garrity has an average of under 4 around Glasgow. But that's what speedway is all about unfortunately, could A Sissis be the difference in the KOC final .
  21. lots of riders mentioned that could replace Coty for Sunday,, you've missed one in particular!!!
