Out don't understand as still got Rye house at home and Somerset and Plymouth away. Ok can't see us getting anything at Somerset but if we win both the home matches then win at Plymouth surely that would be enough to take us through ?

Thanks Beerhut thought that might be the case oh well they wont go to many meetings outside of the summer hols due to school anyway but saving myself £8.00 would have been nice . They have only been to a couple of meetings and love the noise of the bikes and think the novelty of when i tell them their grandad used to work on the track. Question , i know in the past during the summer hols for the kids Ipswich let kids in for nothing when with an adult . The kids were let in for nothing on good friday but does this apply for all meetings during school holidays or just during the summer months ?? Only asking as my twin girls aged 10 have taken a keen interest in the sport and are very keen to come to as many as they can school permitting .

Just looked on BBC weather Cloudy with occasional rain at first, then becoming generally drier by the afternoon but staying rather cloudy. Winds remaining light.

BBC Weather says "Rain, perhaps heavy in places at first, will become lighter and more patchy by afternoon" Not looking good !

Well thats just brightened up a rather boring slow afternoon at work reading all these posts about Lambert , well thats what i thought i was meant to be reading about turned out to be more about Risager and how he never really moved on from his early promise but nerveless an entertaining read. But back to Lambert only seen him once at Ipswich for the Billy Sanders meeting and for one at a very early point in their career he put in a very good showing against some proven P/L riders . His gating needs a little work but once he was at the front looked very fast .Never saw Tai at a young age so can't comment on that front only got back into the speedway scene about 18 months ago . Will he develop who knows he's got talent and its up to him how far he wants to go. Good luck to Lambert i say fingers crossed you have a good season and continue to develop.

About 2 1/2 hours but he should be ok they start at 12 and meeting at the showground aint till 7.30 plenty of time

How many times over last couple of seasons have teams come to Foxhall with a R/R in pace then lose another rider on the night and put even more pressure on the remaining riders . Didn't Sheffield last season or one before that end up with only being able to put 1 rider in some heats down here ? thats really not going to encourage people to come again to a speedway meeting. But then again you could have 6 riders flying and R/R score more than a guest tough call

Thought Doolan did ok in the Billy Sanders meeting down here and did look alot quicker than i've seen him in the past

Agree with this for a 16 year old did look very good , may he continue to improve and progress . Be nice to see some young British talent progress and move through the ranks .

Liking the look of Robert Lambert last night at the Billy Sanders meeting at Ipswich . The kid looked fast knows his way round a speedway track . Carry on like that and he's in for a big season . 9 points from a very good premier line up he must be pleased with his nights work thou he did fall short on his last heat and cost himself any chance of a podium place .

Advantage to Rye house maybe now with the injury to Hawkins ??
