  1. Come on witches let's see a good performance and take all the points tonight
  2. What's the weather been like back at foxhall had a torrential rain most of the day up in Cleethorpes today . Hopefully suffolk didn't get that in preparation for tomorrow night
  3. Took the dog for a walk on the beach better than any cheesy show
  4. ah you are a gent couldn't get away from the tribe to get up to this one so it's sit it the bar on the Haven site using their free wifi while the kids watch some cheesy show . At least I can now follow the score cheers fueltaps
  5. Currently sitting in the bar at Haven in cleethorpes on holiday so already half way to this one just got to try and persuade the other half to let me go leaving her with all four kids mmmm all I got was a scowl when I mentioned it .
  6. I love watching Covatti all action never seen a rider get his head so slow when going round the corners.
  7. Being dropped so they only got 1 reserve tonight ?
  8. Ipswich team manager, Phil Hilton, was understandably frustrated at his team's failure to progress through to the next round: "I don't know what to say, we did all the hard work at Berwick and it should have been relatively straight forward to pull back a four point deficit and finish ahead on aggregate. We had a very poor start tonight and throughout the meeting there were too many falls & mistakes, which just gifted points to Berwick. They had their own problems but generally attacked the track much better than us. This failure to adapt to our own track early on needs sorting out and maybe we need to look at team changes as well!" This was on FB
  9. Seems a bit strange its the morning of the meeting and no one has posted this topic yet are the Witches / Devils Fan already that fed up of the season ?
  10. The above makes alot of sense ok this was Gino's 1st match back last night maybe that was the reason for RR#4 but after the performance its got to switch to RR#2 and put Gino at 4 to partner Covatti makes so much more sense or can't the management see it . Anyone know what the rider order is for tonight is it declared or can you change it ?
  11. Based on last nights performance from the Witches you'll be in the Semi's for the LC as well . If they ride like that again down at Plymouth tonight they have got no chance of picking up the points they need to go through
  12. Ok only a small amount of lady luck but your boys deserved this last night . Very good effort from your side they never gave up and never gave the witches an easy ride . Well done Bandits you wanted it more good luck in the next round
  13. Only heard of it once before think it was the Moto GP rider got it but here is what i found What is it? Arm pump is a clinical condition in which an individual develops intermittent marked pain in the forearms after a period of exercise or exertion. The pain is thought to arise due to swelling of the muscles of the forearm that affects the blood flow to these muscle and causes the oxygen levels to drop. Who gets it? Arm pump typically affects younger adults, mainly men. It is most commonly associated with motor sports such as motocross and road racing, but other activities such as paddling, weight lifting and mountaineering can induce this condition. It is thought that riders participating in motocross and road racing are particularly affected due to the combination of vibration, forced grip and repeated wrist movements to control the throttle. The symptoms typically start approximately 7 minutes in to the race. How do I know if I have it? This is not a common condition but it should be considered in an individual who develops marked forearm pain after a period of exertion that settles spontaneously after a period of rest (ranging from 12 minutes to 24 hours). The forearm will typically feel hard and tight while the pain is present. Numbness in the hand, or cramping of the muscles of the forearm, weakness or clumsiness may occur.
  14. Don't need to be that quick to beat some of these witches tonight
  15. Its race day and weather forecast is good BBC Weather report's "There will often be some cloud, but also long bright or sunny spells. It will feel warmer than previous days, helped by the light winds" Looking like we may get some racing tonight at Foxhall !
  16. Maybe Ipswich and Mildenhall should look at something similar to try and boost crowds ?
  17. Just seen that of Facebook what a great offer for the fans .
  18. Ok probably slightly dumb of me to think this but didn't realize each track has there own way of a parade for the riders , then again each track is different in its own way . Maybe we are lucky down at Ipswich and we have the Stock car track on the outside of the speedway track and this is used for the parade before the meeting , the away team ride round the stock car track giving a few waves to the crowd then followed by the home team before each team lines up on the center green to be introduced to the crowd one by one that is when the wind is blowing in the right direction and you can understand what the presenter is saying over the mic .
  19. But what would we do with ourselves if we didn't spend all that time waiting for wives, girlfriends to change their minds ? We may be a simple breed but at least it keeps us on our toes !
  20. Ipswich 'Sackers' Witches 1. Danny King 9.26, 2. Gino Manzares 5.62, 3. Nico Covatti 5.05, 4. R/R (Cameron Heeps - broken wrist), 5. Rohan Tungate 8.51, 6. Stefan Nielsen 3.61, 7. Ritchie Hawkins © 4.95 Team manager: Phil Hilton Berwick ‘K Dixon Building Services’ Bandits 1 Ben Barker 8.04, 2 Hynek Stichauer 4.56, 3 Kevin Doolan © 6.89, 4 Thomas Jorgensen 7.35, 5 Claus Vissing 7.24, 6 Dan HAlsey (G), 7 Richard Hall ® 4.28 Team manager: John Anderson You would like to think they would win by more than 4 , same old story Heeps missing makes us stronger at home with the way his scores have been at foxhall this year but Gino on just coming back from injury might need a few meetings to get up to speed . Think Witches will win by 10 to take the tie overall
  21. Seems like ages since had any speedway at Foxhall . With only a 4 point lead being brought to foxhall by the Bandits surely the Witches should have enough firepower at home to win the Home Leg and overall to go through to the next round .
  22. Anyone at the track who can tell us how its holding up just in case this rain does stop ?
  23. Steady constant rain now in the area think we are just waiting for the call off now
