  1. Hope they have put plenty of water on the track it's going to be a hot one .
  2. Had a look at a few sites now and most of them are saying that from anytime mid afternoon to early evening could be the chance of rain and thunder in the area but most are warning that they could be very localized . Maybe a shower late in the day could be good for the track after all the warm weather ?
  3. i'll settle for a Witches win hopefully by at least 10 no injury's to either team and some good racing is that too much to ask ?
  4. What does your crystal ball predict for the score on thurs ?
  5. The away leg is down on the Edinburgh site as Friday August 14th so nearly a months wait in between legs also looks like Stefan will be missing that night as there is a U21 race 2 of the series in Lubin on the Sat 15th . On the witches site it looks like there is no meeting on Thurs 13th , could that have not been a better night for us for the home Leg when hopefully we would have had a full team or would Stefan already been on his way over to Lubin Poland ?
  6. Sounds like a right farce of a meeting . Ok you can only beat what's in front of you but was this really fair . Suppose there is curfew to think of but you got to feel for the fans .
  7. Yup Gino injured heat 3 Newman injured heat 4 . Morris had 7 rides that night scoring 8 for Plymouth , they also had Halsey guesting for them where as our two reserves scored Nico 13+2 max and Stefan 10+1. think it could be a little closer this time around
  8. He's not been on the track now for past 4-5 weeks could even be longer , bound to be rather rusty after the wrist injury. Meant to back in the side for Witches next match on 2nd july .
  9. Changing the subject a little now that the dust has hopefully settled from the past coupe of days any Witches making the trip to Cardiff next weekend for the GP ? Staying in Portishead for the weekend so Cardiff on the Sat for the GP , still in two minds to attend the Premier Pairs at Somerset on the friday night .
  10. Yes we all do know the answer to this one . Nico at least you know your gonna get a real effort in every race . Rohan all depends on what Rohan turns up for the evening . If he's in the mood we all know just how quick he can be if its the other well end of story .
  11. Quit or was asked given the choice ?
  12. Who is right who is wrong will we know probably not but it's the same in any job. If your deemed to not be doing your job/work to the standard which your management wants of course there are going to be repercussions it's the same in any line of work . If I spent the next so many weeks not reaching a standard which my manager wanted they there would be a case that my manager would dispense with my services. It happens all the time in any line of work , yes the person may feel a little a grieved by their mangers actions and say a few words but it's there managers choice . Changes are made new staff hired and work continues but if it continues to happen and results are still bad then it will be the turn of the management to maybe come under action against them . Hawkins has gone his results for this season were poor by his standard and the management has acted for the so called good of the team time to stop all this who is right and who is wrong and back the team . Welcome Ashley Morris good luck for the rest of the season. Only time will tell if the management has made the correct choice
  13. As you say Baldyman something more might be amiss with RT . End of last season when he took the No1 race jacket of Worrall he was flying but come this season he seems to have retreated into his shell . Maybe he don't like it that he's not the quickest witch as foxhall right now ?
  14. King and Tungate would have preferred to have Covatti replacing Tungate .
  15. One of the only times he has done this season , but he did do a very good job on Thursday protecting Halsey for 4 laps in one race .
  16. Ipswich boss Phil Hilton said: “There can be no excuses tonight about the riding conditions as the track was very well prepared so I am lost as to why our riders still appear unable to ride on it as we all know they can.
  17. Felt sorry for Nico last night , ok he's not the best gater in the team so what he lacks in gating he makes up for in effort he puts in and he skill at finding the dirt and grip to pass. But last night no matter how hard he tried the track just didn't give him the grip , such a shame as he's been the most exciting rider in the team at home this season with his ability to come from the back .
  18. Thanks for that . Wishing Ben a speedy recovery
  19. Ok may have missed it but what's the latest on Barker?
  20. Halse mmmm nothing against the guy but the times I've seen him at foxhall he's looked way out of his depth. Not liking the look of this
