  1. I'm no expert when it comes to bikes baldy so your prob right . Just seemed to lack speed one way or another to put in a a pass or gate last night
  2. Well that made a welcome change 3 home points for the win , the saying goes you can only beat what's in front of you and thats true from last night . Scunthorpe didn't really put much of a fight up last night racing was not at its best could have been down to the track was a little tricky in places and last night's heat times did seem to reflect that being a good 1-1.5 seconds slower on average than we have seen a Foxhall this season . Nike Lunna , young lad 18 i think some great hair and won heat 2 very nicely . Looks like you may have a star in the making there if he progresses good find that one from the Scunthorpe team . Was good to see Gino (9+4) and Cameron(11) having good nights , was prob Camerons best showing at Foxhall for a long time . Danny(17+1) and Nico(15+1) were miles better than anyone last night . Danny paid max without to much effort only really had to work once when he missed the gate. Nico one slight mistake in heat 15 which cost him a paid max otherwise his normally all effort round the outside show . Heat 7 was the Nico show after missing the start and popping out last he kept it wound on with two outside passes to win the race . Ashley(2+1) looked a little under power last night never really got going and don't think he made the gate once last night which has been his main asset since arriving . Stefan(5+1) nothing spectacular just steady points . R/R for Tungate last night , Rohan not really missed A welcome home win and much need 3 points with harder home matches i'm sure to come ,
  3. nearly same thing again in rerun but stefan shut off in time
  4. Think they may have forgotten to put your words up in the dressing room. Looks like the scorpions have no sting tonight
  5. Track looks ok . Maybe a little more water on it than normally but otherwise ok . Have to see how it holds up once they start racing
  6. Yer I would . Think we may see a shower or two tonight but at least that will save Mr Louis on the water bill !
  7. Yer raining all over ipswich now sky looks very full this could carry on for a time . Don't look like just a shower to me .
  8. Had a little shower about 2pm over west side of ipswich but sun out now , ok quite a few clouds around but looking good for later but BBC weather reporting that more showers could be on the way later around tea time with the chance of some being heavier but these should pass quickly .
  9. 13th thought it was booked for Sat 5th Sep ?

  12. THE Speedway Control Bureau have issued a statement following an incident during the Scunthorpe v Ipswich Premier League match on Friday July 17; For publication after 12 noon: Friday 24th July 2015. Release Date: Thursday 23rd July 2015. SCUNTHORPE V IPSWICH (Friday 17th July 2015) At the above Meeting Rohan Tungate was involved in an after Heat incident (the re-run of Heat 10), whereby Josh Auty was knocked off his motorcycle at the start of the back straight. Auty suffered an injury; the extent of which is still not known, as his arm/hand is still badly swollen. Immediately following this incident, which was unseen by the Referee and Clerk of Course, the Referee interviewed Tungate and others in the Pits to establish what had occurred. As a consequence of what Tungate told him, a £200 fine was levied upon him based upon his plea that it was purely an accident. Since then the SCB received a complaint and video evidence of the incident. In accordance with SR 3.3.2.2. the SCB Prime Officer viewed the video and made further enquiries of the Meeting Referee. The Referee is clearly of the view that the video evidence does not support Tungate’s mitigation of slowing down and being unable to avoid hitting Auty. Accordingly in accordance with SR 3.3.2.3 Tungate is given a 21-day Suspension of his SCB Registration (and a notification to his FMN). This Suspension, formally agreed by 3 SCB Officers takes effect from tomorrow, Friday 24th July. Tungate has a Right of Appeal under SR 3.4.7 to the SCB Court. Issued by: Graham Reeve, SCB Prime Officer Rugby, 23rd July 2015 the above just appeared on the the sgb website
