  1. 4 comments since the meeting finished just shoes how exciting that meeting was !
  2. Have enjoyed both my visits to Rye House this season ok bearing the results but very nice to see the work being carried out at the track. Very nice to see also the amount of work they did to the track as the meeting went on to try and improve the racing on the night . Fair play to the Rye House team for doing all they can to give the fans some good racing .
  3. You've hit the nail on the head Baldy .
  4. We all know this prob wont change a thing with the problem with the Witches top 5 , but the management have got to be seen doing something to the fans .
  5. Didn't Mountain guest for us once at foxhall last season ?
  6. Well what can you say about that? Not alot really apart from Rockets wanted it more. Well done to them solid team effort from them . Track not a lot of dirt on it but it's the same for both teams . Couple of days ago few Rye House fans moaning about Kasper ? Very strange thought he was your standout rider of the night . Some nice cut backs up the inside along the back straight shame the Witches didn't take notice the 1st time he did it . Kennet Witches must be sick of the sight of him but class apart over the tie. Not a bad nights racing but how much lower can the Witches sink this season , changes to be made maybe but who else is out there to come in . Very long season ahead fir the suffering Witches fans I think .
  7. Well if the Witches are to progress tonight need Kennett on the same sort of form and Robson to . Can't see it really think the Witches will be out of the cup but I'll be there tonight along with Baldyman. What's the weather forecast at the moment down there and for later?
  8. Bugger when did this happen ? Now on a course next Thursday gonna be a mad dash from Panshanger for me .
  9. Kennett was so smooth and so fast last night , class act from last night never ever looked like he was going to be beaten . Lanham yes was a little poor but i thought Kasper worked very hard for his 4 points . Was on the pace every race .
  10. All info you need found here . http://www.ipswichwitches.co/the-club
  11. Just read that King wont be in the British Semi - Final at Glasgow on Sunday . http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.30459
  12. Weather looks good , Blue sky's and lots of sunshine looking like a fine day in Ipswich .
  13. The start or the end of the Witches season as some people have said , naaa little too early for that in my eyes . So what Witches team will we get this coming Thursday , its been an indifferent season so far too many riders having off nights but its still very early in the season so a chance for the Witches to pull things round and gain a little confidence . Looking forward to seeing the battles between both teams top two riders . King looked alot more on his game last night at Coventry and Covatti i think we can all forgive him for his nightmare night in the last home meeting , Kennett always looks fast at Foxhall beating King twice last season in one meeting . Robson never seen him ride at Foxhall but seems to be having a good season so far and his average this season is noting to be sniffed at . Risager has been the Witches most consistent rider this season solid scoring but Kerr and Sarjeant have both been up and down , one race looking very quick the next struggling , will be interesting to see how they fare against two former riders in Heeps and Lanham . Paco Paco Paco could the lad be starting to repay some of Mr Louis faith in him ? getting better with each meeting and gaining alot of support from the Foxhall crowd. Maybe his number 1 fan The Scotsman may be in attendance this Thursday to cheer him on ? Ritchings would be nice for him if the effort he is putting in got him a few more points , surely he can beat Karger round Foxhall or has the young Dane started to show some life ? i'm sure the Rye House fans will be able to answer that one . With the weather looking alot warmer than it has been the past few weeks at Foxhall maybe a few more on the gate , but at least we know one person will be glad and not moan their fingers are too cold to fill in his program or text . After the early season defeat already away at Rye House the Witches need to build a lead if they want to progress , 10+ points lead is a must .
  14. Oh dear did your Caps Lock button get stuck again Jenga i'd get that looked at as some people my think you were taking the piss there. Was good to see King back on form thou , knowing myself whats its like when waiting for the arrival of my twins to be born . A nervous time for any expecting parent but one that turns to joy when they are born .
  15. Well that made a change last night , an Elite League meeting shown on Sky that was well worth watching . Some cracking races between both teams , more passes in and Elite League meeting in one night than i have seen on countless other meeting's they have shown on Sky. A track that looked a little tricky to start with that caused a few minor problems for riders at the start of the meeting , and on top of all of that a few decisions made by the referee that could have gone either way to add a little spice to the meeting . Great nights entertainment , hope we get more meeting like that on Sky and not the normal boring GATE and GO ones i always seem to get when i get the chance to watch it .
  16. King looked alot more on it last night for Coventry , maybe the waiting arrival of his son born last weekend was playing on his mind abit ,
  17. I take it a draw over the two legs would result in a replay ?
  18. Wouldn't matter if Ed was there singing we can't hear sod all on the back straight anyway !
  19. Poor showing tonight from the Witches . Nothing but workman like performance from the Rebels came saw got the job they need to do done . Solid looking team they have got there nothing spectacular but a team that come the end of the season should easily find themselves in the play offs. Agree with that Allen and BWD could be real stars for the Rebels
  20. Well apart from last year when they got a draw .
  21. Weather currently rather nice , blue sky and sunshine lets hope it stays that way . All Witches fans know that on his day Tungate can gate and be very quick out in front , lets hope there is some dirt on the track for the likes of King and Covatti can hunt him down if he does makes the gates tonight . Think the Witches will win but do think things will be alot closer than Somerset normally are at Foxhall
  22. Lucky for me i live in Ipswich so its only a 10-15 minute journey from one side of the town to the other . Do also visit Mildenhall a few times in a season which is about a 45-50 minute journey . Nearest tracks for away meeting are Rye House which you can do in about 1 hour 30 - 45 or Peterborough about the same sort of distance . Traffic not really much of an issue as long as the A14 behaves .
  23. With the LC now a distant memory we switch to the League and the visit of Somerset . Better performance last time around to beat Sheffield at home but what will Somerset bring . Not normally a happy hunting ground for the Rebels but after last weekend thumping of Peterborough at the showground should Witches fans be a little more worried this time around. Oh and of course there is a little matter of a certain Mr Rohan Tungate in the Rebels side who i'm sure will get a warm welcome ............
