Have checked the Sheffield website and can't see no preview from them , Please Tiger fans correct me if i'm wrong . Below was taken from the Witches website The 'Tru7.com' Witches head to South Yorkshire on Thursday to take on the Sheffield Tigers in the Premier League (7.30pm). The Witches enjoyed a fine run of form in July at Foxhall winning all four home meetings to propel them up the table and towards the play-off spots. Ritchie Hawkins' side must now look to produce that form on the road if they are to get into the top six starting at Sheffield on Thursday. There is a guest at number seven with Jake Knight coming in to ride for the Witches. Knight rides for Eastbourne in the National League and also had a spell with Sheffield back in 2013. Jake is the son of former rider Richard Knight. The Tigers will be looking to get back on track after four without a win including their first home league defeat last Thursday against Peterborough. The home side welcome back Simon Stead after he missed their last outing due to injury and Jason Garrity also makes his return to the track after being sidelined for a lengthy period. The two sides have met already this season on Sheffield shale in the League Cup with the Tigers taking a narrow 47-43 win. Team Manager Ritchie Hawkins says his side is in good form and is hoping the team can put in a similar performance to their earlier visit to Owlerton. "We rode well there earlier in the year so if we can ride like we did that night we can get a result," said Hawkins. "We've been doing a lot better and we're in the best form we've been in all season and we've got to look to get a win. We need to win a couple of away meetings to get into the play-offs, the momentum is with us and we need to perform." Hawkins dismissed suggestions that it is a good time to face the out of form Tigers and believes the Witches must focus on themselves. "They had a bit of bad luck to lose to Peterborough at home last week what with the black and white helmet being used and Steady (Simon Stead) getting injured. They're a good team but we've got to focus on our own performance and go there and put in a performance that we have shown we are capable of at times this season and if we can do that we will get a result." The boss says that Witches guest Knight is a rider he has been keeping an eye on this season. "Jake comes in at number seven, he's been going really well this year with Eastbourne and I've been keeping an eye on him. I've known Jake for quite a while from our Dad's racing against each other and he's done a bit of Premier League at Sheffield a few years ago. Hopefully he can come in and enjoy it." Hawkins says he is not looking at the table too much, knowing that his side needs wins on the road if the play-offs are to become a reality. "We're still at the stage where we know we've got to win meetings to progress up the table. There are teams below us with a lot of meetings in hand so we need to get points on the board, especially away from home."

Pob replied to waco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We'll he's changed his tune from last season then at foxhall. He didn't earn the name rolling Rohan for nothing . Think he was getting warned to stay still at the start nearly every meeting . Must have been working hard over the winter on it . -

Should Greg Hancock Ride For Usa?
Pob replied to John Leslie's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Ok so it might be a fair point from Hancock letting the young lads ride and gain what will be valuable experience for them but will Hancock be there in a mentor presence. Getting chucked in at the deep end is one thing but also giving the young lads some tips and guidance surely would benefit them as well. -
Not good news on Mountain or Hume wishing them both a speedy recovery. So who do the Witches turn to now ?

Ipswich Vs Berwick 14/7/16

Thank you for this Mr Presenter , it is very frustrating that most of the time we can't hear your what you are saying . Anyway back to the instruments , it was just an idea the group had a few weeks ago to try and inject some life into very subdued atmosphere . Yes we are not to every ones liking and apologies to anyone who has sat near the group over the past few weeks and not enjoyed our rather comedy attempts at music . We come for a night out and some fun and just thought that we would show the riders home and visiting alike appreciation for there efforts on the track . We've had some funny looks past few weeks from a few riders but last night Kevin Doolan must have heard our sweet music and after his heat 15 win on a ride past put his hand up to our merry band . Thank you again Mr Presenter from bringing Nico over to the back straight stand and we'll be back again same time next with instruments in hand ready to show our support . -

Pob replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good performance from the Witches , not a good night for Sarjeant thou hope his not too banged up after his nasty looking crash last night . Very poor from the Bandits was expecting alot more from them only Doolan and Jorgensen showed any fight last night . Feel sorry for any Bandits fans that made the journey thats a long way to come to watch most of your team not bother to turn up . Just like the Witches did up at Berwick !!! Well done Connor Mountain great debut for the Witches on that showing alot more bookings to come i'd say . Happy with either Mountain or Hume for the rest of the season , two keen young English lads wanting to learn and progress their carers further . King looking better with each week , looks like we have our big scoring Captain back . -
Should Tai Woffinden Ride For Team Gb ?
Pob replied to robert72's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Think i answered the question with what i said , he's just doing the same as any other successful sports person trying to earn himself a living . People bang on about how you can't compare speedway to any other sport i think that rubbish , they go where they can get the best for them selves knowing that at any time during a race their career could be ended heaven forbid . David Beckham never played in England for years but was always there if his country called . The SCB should make sure that they do there most to try and get the top riders available for when they do the British Semi's of course they want him over here for these and think they may have made a mistake this year . They messed Harris about with his GP qualifying and King as well both could have progressed maybe if they hadn't of had the added worry and prob alot of travelling .Ok maybe not King as he missed his semi to ride in Germany and that didn't quite work out for him there but maybe it was playing on his mind aim i doing the right thing by missing my own national semi final ? It seemed rather daft to programme in these fixtures knowing that there was GP qualifying happening on the same weekend . As for should Tai have been given a wild card for the final IMO i think Tai got them out of a sticky situation by saying he would have to turn one down if he was offered one . Was he offered one ? did he decline ? who knows . Yes some of Tai's antics will not go down well with some people but he puts bums on seats and with his participation at the SWC will add more to the crowd than any other home rider . Very true GB has some good riders but looking at the other teams and think that we are no way as strong as some of them . We need Tai to leave him out would be cutting your nose off to spite your face .
