  1. Plus your mum don't let you go to far when its dark !
  2. No far from it wouldn't have changed the result but it seems to be all the little things like this that make the rules and regulations of this sport a joke . Mickey Mouse springs to mind , what hope have we got for this sport to move on
  3. Well if we have let you in Scotsman a bonifide Edinburgh supporter we have to let Sue in , pretty sure thats her 1st team correct me if i'm wrong Sue ?
  4. Ok so hearing that Garrity was wearing number 5 last night but was programmed to ride at 4 . So can someone explain if this was the case why he wasn't excluded or sent back to the pits to get it changed , surely this is the same sort of thing as having the wrong helmet colour on ?
  5. 2 points tonight good team performance from the Witches. Sounds like Garrity has come back full of fire from his lay off .
  6. After 4 wins at home on the trot gotta make the boys want more . Can we get anything from this ?
  7. Come on Witches keep the season alive and get a win .
  8. What club wouldn't want another club close to them to give both clubs local a local Derby . The closeness of local clubs can only be a benefit to both clubs extra people through the gate when the two clubs meet and the added spice in the stands its all good fun . Look what its doing to this thread days after the match and people still hurling banter back and forwards great fun. As for the Panto villain when Danny Ayers round at foxhall last month after his heat 2 victory he was all arms pumping and that but rest of the night was pretty poor which the Ipswich BSF Massif took great delight in letting him know . But fast forward a couple of weeks and Danny was guesting for us against Peterborough it must have been in the back on his mind as he was brilliant for us and the BSF and crowd gave him a great acknowledgement for it . Sport needs local derby's and Hero's and Villians no matter what sport it is , it all adds to the fun and enjoyment .
  9. Have checked the Sheffield website and can't see no preview from them , Please Tiger fans correct me if i'm wrong . Below was taken from the Witches website The 'Tru7.com' Witches head to South Yorkshire on Thursday to take on the Sheffield Tigers in the Premier League (7.30pm). The Witches enjoyed a fine run of form in July at Foxhall winning all four home meetings to propel them up the table and towards the play-off spots. Ritchie Hawkins' side must now look to produce that form on the road if they are to get into the top six starting at Sheffield on Thursday. There is a guest at number seven with Jake Knight coming in to ride for the Witches. Knight rides for Eastbourne in the National League and also had a spell with Sheffield back in 2013. Jake is the son of former rider Richard Knight. The Tigers will be looking to get back on track after four without a win including their first home league defeat last Thursday against Peterborough. The home side welcome back Simon Stead after he missed their last outing due to injury and Jason Garrity also makes his return to the track after being sidelined for a lengthy period. The two sides have met already this season on Sheffield shale in the League Cup with the Tigers taking a narrow 47-43 win. Team Manager Ritchie Hawkins says his side is in good form and is hoping the team can put in a similar performance to their earlier visit to Owlerton. "We rode well there earlier in the year so if we can ride like we did that night we can get a result," said Hawkins. "We've been doing a lot better and we're in the best form we've been in all season and we've got to look to get a win. We need to win a couple of away meetings to get into the play-offs, the momentum is with us and we need to perform." Hawkins dismissed suggestions that it is a good time to face the out of form Tigers and believes the Witches must focus on themselves. "They had a bit of bad luck to lose to Peterborough at home last week what with the black and white helmet being used and Steady (Simon Stead) getting injured. They're a good team but we've got to focus on our own performance and go there and put in a performance that we have shown we are capable of at times this season and if we can do that we will get a result." The boss says that Witches guest Knight is a rider he has been keeping an eye on this season. "Jake comes in at number seven, he's been going really well this year with Eastbourne and I've been keeping an eye on him. I've known Jake for quite a while from our Dad's racing against each other and he's done a bit of Premier League at Sheffield a few years ago. Hopefully he can come in and enjoy it." Hawkins says he is not looking at the table too much, knowing that his side needs wins on the road if the play-offs are to become a reality. "We're still at the stage where we know we've got to win meetings to progress up the table. There are teams below us with a lot of meetings in hand so we need to get points on the board, especially away from home."
  10. We'll he's changed his tune from last season then at foxhall. He didn't earn the name rolling Rohan for nothing . Think he was getting warned to stay still at the start nearly every meeting . Must have been working hard over the winter on it .
  11. 2015 oh dear that sounds rather sad that this is still going on , oh bugger I've just added to it . You found that synchronised swimming thread yet ?
  12. Oh really that's great news for Hume Someone said there was a mention in last night's programme about the crowd action past few weeks can anyone post what CL said ?
  13. So what are most of you on this thread going to do tomorrow night after this thread becomes invalid once Tai rides round in his GB colours . Talk about flogging a dead horse, administration please lock and close this thread down it ran it's course about 2000 odd posts ago .
  14. Ok so it might be a fair point from Hancock letting the young lads ride and gain what will be valuable experience for them but will Hancock be there in a mentor presence. Getting chucked in at the deep end is one thing but also giving the young lads some tips and guidance surely would benefit them as well.
  15. Not good news on Mountain or Hume wishing them both a speedy recovery. So who do the Witches turn to now ?
  16. Glad to hear that . 3 points please Witches, pint number 2 ready for tapes up
  17. Hello fellow BSF Massif. Hope you lot have got better weather than I've currently got in very wet Skegness. Will be following the updates tonight from the bar . Come on you Witches . BSF Massif let's make some noise !!
  18. I'm sure the BSF Massif will give Tungate a warm welcome . Missing this one will take any win and stop the Devils from gaining a point . BSF Massif be sure to give Plymouth the new PL Fours champions a warm welcome .
  19. You've changed your tune , does that mean you'll be making the visit
  20. Thursday's meeting signals the start of the school holiday promotion which means KIDS GO FREE to all of our summer meetings (kids aged 6-15).
