How things have changed these past few months at Foxhall. We may not have the best race track in the league and the racing at times has not been the best but there is a feelgood factor right now . What started as a bit of fun by a few of us on the back straight has started to spread around the track with i must say a lot of encouragement from our fantastic presenter Mr Kevin Long . Kevin really took to our idea at the BSF MASSIF of creating a fun atmosphere and it must have rubbed off on the riders as the past few months as i can't fault their effort in the push into the play offs . As i have already said if you had said to even the most hardened Witches fans in July we would get into the play offs they would have asked you what you were taking and where can i buy some !. I left last night feeling rather deflated but who wouldn't after watching your team get beat at home by what i will say again a very good Somerset side , but now after the last bit of dust has settled on the track (where was the water ?) i think its been a good season for the Witches . We may not have won anything and some of the performances have left me wondering why did i bother but i can say i have enjoyed myself as have may girls ,and had some laughs and enjoyable visits to Foxhall the last 3-4 months with other people associated with the BSF MASSIF and i hope we continue what we started into next season . Congratulations again to Somerset worthy winners and all the best of luck for the remainder of your season .

Well done Somerset total team performance from 1 to 7 . Never allowed the Witches to get going in the meeting. A lot of stop start tonight didn't help . By far the best team to visit Foxhall this season. A lot of happy Somerset fans tonight and why not congratulations to all associated with Somerset speedway well deserved place in the final . As for the Witches well think we did well to get where we did consider where we sat in the table in July. Right now who's going to start the Ipswich 2017 thread .

If they didn't have so many restrictions maybe they could . Suppose the showground has a few as well . OK so you don't want NL how about if it was a PL match after an EL meeting what you say about that ?

So £3 extra and you get a NL meeting after the PL what's not to like about that .

Was impressed with BWD when your lot rode here earlier in the season big blow for Somerset think he would have scored well tonight , fingers crossed safe meeting to all riders

Next you'l be asking him to "stand and deliver " the proof he is not MF

He got very close the other week 56.1 , wasn't that after we had a couple of days of natural watering ?

What way do you normally come in ? If your coming from the midlands you could come off at the 1st ipswich junction onto the A1156 follow that till you come to A1214 which will take you all the way the the Hospital . Think that the stadium is signposted from there .

Watched the 1st 20mins gave up and took the dog for a walk . I take it never got any better then .

That was a rather heavy down pour just now ,Met weather says could be further more heavy downpours over the next 24 hours . More sunshine forecast for tomorrow afternoon .

Don't seem to be many comments coming from the Somerset fans . Is it that there ain't a lot of them on here or they confident of getting the job done and feel they don't need to comment ?

Just gonna have to leave a little earlier i think to be safe . Normally there for 7pm anyway .

Ah you getting worried for us southern softies again Scotsman , we all know a hardened Scotsman like your self wont be bothered about a little bit of the cold weather . Thought anything above freezing was classed as tropical from your part of the country ?

Dismantling of the Massif ? NO that's not going to happen just because of a little disruptions caused by some very strange goings on behind the scenes. Yes i am fully aware of what been said and what has happened . People on here have sent me messages and i have seen screen shots so i know what has been said between people and being the BSF MASSIF Administrator on our FB page it has rather annoyed me that a group that was set up to have fun has been tarnished on here with people looking in and wondering about all the strange going on in sleepy suffolk . Yes we are all a little strange at times tbh i think you have to be a little nerdy at times to enjoy this sport with our daft rules and regulations but that for another topic . The postings of one individual on here have caused some friction on here with others who have associated themselves with the BSF MASSIF but hopefully now things can be put to bed and hopefully we can get back to what this group was created for . Have fun enjoy our speedway at get behind our beloved Ipswich Witches . Do you come in past the waste recycling center on Foxhall Road ? as this is where i believe the road will be closed

Your normally a lot sharper than that taps .

We do talk about speedway some of the time . About 10 % the rest we just make it up as we go along

It says alot really about our last visit to Somerset that our 2nd highest scorer that night was Paco with 7 only one behind Morten who scored 8 . Any kind of same result as last time 61-31 and its all over for another season . Yes the Witches will lose at Somerset but think they need to keep it to a maximum of 14 points. As Baldy said home wins both ways but hoping this time the Witches keep things alot tighter away from Foxhall. Can see this going down to the last 2-3 heats at foxhall on the 13th . Delighted that the Witches managed to get this far after such a crap start to the season but now seeing as we are here come on Witches lets win the whole bloody thing !!!

Stupid rule if you ask me . Can't that be classed as blocking someone's right to work . It's rules like that they need to change in this sport.
