  1. Well, no I'm not. Until we know exctly hows it's done we can only guess. I'm just assuming it's being done the same was as the GP qualifiers and the U21 Championship.
  2. Surely the Centre of British Speedway is on the South Coast?! Poole?! Wimbourne Road to be exact!!!
  3. And you the most unsensible person anywhere, Would you be happy turning up at 4pm for a meeting to be told, "sorry, looked like rain so we started the meeting at 2pm"?
  4. I think next years format will fall into the hands of Leigh and TRick. Personally i expect them 2 to be battling it out. I don't think Crumpy is the kind of guy to care about the format so he'll be up there too. My tip for the top 3 next season is Crump, Adams, Trick. That said, someone has just said getting to semi-finals is not his problem, it's getting into the final where he has a problem and that won't change. If Nicki rode in 8 semis, how many finals did he ride in? 1 or 2? At least Leigh and Nicki can claim to be the two most consistent riders, after the Dryml brothers!
  5. Yet how many ex-World Under 21 champions ahve won the "ultimate" prize? Answer, just one, Mr Crump
  6. Sod others Shaz, this forums about discussing and we're doing just that! If people don't like it, tough (unless they're a mod, then they can ban me/us ) Mark Loram IS British(I was winding you up last week ), Mark is NOT British born. Jason Crump IS Australian, Jason IS British born. Nothing sinister there, is there?!
  7. Mark Loram is also used in the advert, though it's not quite as obvious.
  8. BUT HE IS STILL NOT BRITISH BORN. JASON CRUMP WAS BRTISH BORN AS HE COMES FROM BRISTOL. Henry W said British born, Norbold asked was he leaving out Mark Loram so I pointed out of course he was leaving out Mark Loram as he was not born in Britiain. Nothing in there about being/not being British, Maltesse or Australian! Why don't people actually read what is wrote rather than scan through it and only get the jist?! (thats twice this morning!)
  9. Don't forget to mention that Wato, Anders, Wilko and Smartie live in the shed during the winter.
  10. You must have got on the wrong bus, Cardiff to Trecco Bay is an westward journey, Cardiff to Newport is a eastward journey!
  11. So lets get this right. It;s wrong as you can have EF fail to make the final and the best rider might lose out because of a dodgy exclusion or an EF? Oh, just lke the current GP system that "isn't broke". Seems to me BSI have tried to find a compramise and yet people still feel the need to moan about it. The guy who scores 7 points and scrapes into the semi still has to ride well to get anything fro the semi's, if he can score points in the semis he must be worthy of the points. The current GP system revolves around rider having ti imporve through out the meeting, this is no different, except that 2 EF's by the best rider in his first 2 rides doesn't spell disaster (ask Matej Zagar about the U21's), he still has a chance.
  12. 12? Or are you counting Loramski as Maltese? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well yes, Mark Loram was born in Malta, there for not British born
  13. I think Sullivan has to be given another chance. I think it's unfair to throw someone on the scrap heap after one dodgy seaosn. He's a class act, stick with him. Thats from a person who's not a fan of Sully.
  14. Didnt see Crumpy pass Hampel in heat 11(?). What about Nicki passing Crumpy just after Crumpy had won the WC or Crumpy going from 1st to 4th in his next ride Take away the battle for 8th, 3rd and 1st nd it was a mind numingly boring meeting, but hey, thats the GP's for you!
  15. I love this He certianly did. But who cares, World champion 2004 is JAosn Crump. No mention in the record books of weird circumstances or giving up once he'd won it.
  16. WOW. Crumpy must be doing something right. Me and Dekker both agree I suggest we tell nobody
  17. Riders keep there grade but guest is for the top averaged rider but the guets is picked using grades. Yes, it's <hmmmm> and it confuses people. But your numebr 1 is the guy top of the averages (like Norris is for Eastbourne) but it uses grades (thats why Eastbourne have had poor guetss for Floppy). It's Sullivan or R/R. That said, I see no reason why they can;t bring in TRick, the transfer dead line is not relevant in this case as he was NOT in any one elses team after the deadline, so could sign for ANY team.
  18. Apologies to Mr Sola and Forland. They did well.
  19. I like it, because it's the idea I have been suggesting for about 3 or 4 years now. Only difference is I said a final and there's going to be 2 semis and a final instead. A brilliant move
  20. Who cares how he did it! He was elading both times it was stopped(both times by Nicki Pedersen ) Well Done Crumpy! Nice to see Nicki was the first guy to congratulate him too! BTW, I think Ryan is 3rd in the Poole averages
  21. Crumpy need to get 8 points. So the semis so he needs to have 4 rides(atleast) to be certain and even if he fails at that, TRick HAS to win the GP.
  22. My argument is Mark is British as he has British parents, so Crumpy is Australian as he has Australian parents.
  23. Crumpy, born to Australian parents. I guess Mark can claim he has spent most of his life in the UK, Crumpy cannot claim to have spent most of his life in Australia, he has spent more of it over here!
  24. But could the Swedes not say the same about Crumpy? After all, he doesn't ride over there, not regulary any way.
