He's got a point, what long term good could be got from Harris and Nicholls being in the team ? Let's look to the future and start building a good GB squad now -
King's Lynn V Eastbourne (koc) 22/7/2016
Countershaftcounter replied to Mimmo's topic in National League Speedway
Kings Lynn have taken the decision to call this meeting off cos Buster buggered up the track last night rather than calling it off when it should have been -
terrace talk isn't far off in this case, but if a club supplies bikes / engines / accomodation etc .... a rider will make a profit. ( something BWD has got this yeear at Somerset too), shame young Brits can't get these kind of offers

when you've changed the riders, the manager (several times) and the sponsors, there doesn't seem to be much left to change? I feel CL has been plodding for a few seasons now, I've noiced the deterioration in the racing surface, how hard can it be to produce a consistent track FFS ?

On Twitter he's described as the "15 year old sensation", poor kid. As I said, well done Dugard, well played ! -

I wonder what happens when you pile a ton of pressure on a kid on his 15th birthday and chuck him in against the strongest team in the league ?? Well done Dugard's, hope you're proud -

New Averages (team Line Up Changes Updates)
Countershaftcounter replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
So Ellis goes from the main body back to reserve, has his worst ever meeting since joining Poole then goes back into the main body ? Try explaining that rule to a new supporter ! -
It would have to be 500, not 1000 sidecars. They go round the same way and use the same engines as speedway bikes and be easier to relate to. Also the size of some speedway tracks in the uk you wouldn't be able to fit four 1000 chairs in safely

Poole 2016
Countershaftcounter replied to Pirates Of Poole's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
can anyone tell me if it's possible to have a poster on ignore /block their posts and how to do it. I've really had bellyful of Gavan's flirting with certain posters, it used to be funny, then it got tedious, now it's just a pain in the arse. He's obsessed with poole and obviously has serious mental issues, it's now beyond tedious and i'd rather see blank spaces than have his rambling cluttering up my computer. can anyone tell me if it's possible to have a poster on ignore /block their posts and how to do it. The EDL/FTR system was in theory a good idea, a plan to help advance young British riders get on in the sport. Unfortunately the powers that be conspired to cock it up to such an extent that it's being abused now, (without breaking any rules) and providing unrealistic results to matches . Our sport is already being seen as a joke by many sports fans and journalists alike, with its obsession for averages which is only matched by train spotting enthusiasts looking for "the 7.42 from Gillingham which has an unusual perkins straight cut diesel injectors with a double spring flange valve .. zzzzzzzz" For gods sake, it's a simple bloody idea. 4 blokes riding flat out for 4 laps. How complicated does it need to be? While the powers that be are willing to dick around with the small details whilst ignoring the major problems that are driving the sport into extinction, and the major media outlet ( Speedway Star) are willing to kiss their arses as long as the advertising revenue keeps coming in, things aint gonna improve anytime soon .

I wasted a night in front of the telly to watch tonights meeting, as usual no changes will be made for now, (while other teams are strengthening). I never thought i'd come away from a victory so bored. Ritchings should knock it on the head and try moto X, he's just not getting it right.

Surely now is the time for "speedways leading magazine" to ask the difficult questions ? Instead of being a mouthpiece for the clubs and just re-hashing their press releases, it should be asking each and every promotor why this is being allowed to carry on. With the EDR/FTR riders going in as heat leaders and some of the worlds most capable riders racing as reserves, ( and racking up mega pay days) the time has come to say stop. I know that speedway is stuck in a time warp but surely it can't be beyond the realms of possibility to organise a meeting, (or even a conference call on Skype FFS) and get this sorted? We have 8 promotors in a small country, not 250 spread out over the world, speedway star should be asking in bold letters every week until they get a result, why the powers that be are allowing this to continue. It's not rocket science, try being journalists and holding those in control of our sport to account rather than licking their arses week in week out !
