  1. Well done to the Aces. They were and are the better team. I'm a little disappointed that man for man (probably bar Kerr) we didn't ride to our capabilities. Our shortage of heat winners tells the story.
  2. Really looking forward to tonights meeting. Whatever the result I'm sure we're going to be witnessing some great racing. C'mon you hammers!
  3. Well I'm still buzzing this morning after our great win. Those present witnessed some great speedway. Scottys last to first heat 1 win set the tone perfectly. Kennetts great ride in heat 3 then matched by Bridgers superb ride in heat 5 around Sedgmen...breathtaking. But heat 13 was the race of the night. A spectacular race involving Doyle, Kim and Scotty. Well done to all the Hammers, every one of the team members contributed. Now we can look forward to another good speedway meeting on Wednesday. Up the 'Ammers. Also a massive thank you to the track staff for not only managing to get this meeting on but for also producing a great racing track. Heat 13 will remain in my memory bank for a long long time...credit to you all.
  4. The final signing has to be announced soon. Bjerre? Sundstrom?
  5. I really like the look of Kings Lynn. If they can find consistency on their travels then I think they'll be right in the mix along with the likes of Birmingham, Cradley and Eastbourne.
  6. It'll be interesting to see how Luke Clifton does. He has the potential to increase his average significantly.
  7. Hope a dry spell allows the promotion to continue / complete the construction work. I always enjoy my occasional visits to Rye. Best of luck to Robbo and Leigh for the coming season, two of the most loyal riders you'll find.
  8. Anyone have an idea when we'll find out whose in which class? I expect Bickley and Brennan will move upto the 500 class this year.
  9. Does anybody have any crayford speedway footage? I've seen a 4 minute clip on YouTube of an old meeting but I haven't come across anything else. I'm also looking for footage of the 1975 national league riders final. A certain Mr Etheridge became King that day. Any help or website links would be greatly appreciated.
