I am confused by all this. This is a motor sport. I understand you can't obviously be John Prescott and ride a bike but what kind of advantage does a drug give you in a motor sport. You need to be fit but unless there is a weight loss drug and the 3 of them have been eating pizzas and chips, how is drugs going to give any advantage over another rider. Surely someone isn't going to say LSD improves your clutch reaction timing. I know it's totally wrong and I agree with bans but why do it at all to ruin your career.

Well from the four reasons I put up I would agree with you but I am not so sure. As you say, messaging someone is one thing and meeting someone is another. I understand chris4gillian doesn't have to prove who he is, but as I have said he could easily meet someone on the forum to prove it but it seems he doesn't want to which is suprises me a little. If Starman has personally met him, I take it all back but even than, Starman would have to meet Gavan as well and prove this. To be honest, I doubt we will never know as even posting on the forum at exactly the same time doesn't cut the mustard nowadays. Have you personally met them though? Why would you be speaking to them both and are you sure? If I was accused, I would happily meet a few forum members to disprove this theory. Would you not be in the same boat.

National Speedway Stadium - Too Sanitized?
Joe Beevers replied to Little Thumper's topic in National League Speedway
Have to agree with this. I don't think it's fair that you have to pay quite a bit for processed rubbish at Speedway Stadiums and it is the same poor food you get at most football stadiums. I think times have moved on with eating especially with forieign cuisine and free from foods becoming more popular but unfortunately stadium cuisine has not really kept up with the times and they probably still order the same frozen burgers in from the supplier they were using in the 70s. If stadiums don't want people to bring food in, they should offer far more choice of food in my opinion. -
That is totally understandable. An easier way would surely be to meet a Poole fan you like or get on with on the forum or at least tolerate and there are plenty of Poole fans on here. Then you are vouched for by the fan on the forum and you prove the doubters wrong plus you meet another Pirate fan to talk too,so in my opinion it can only be a win win situation. Unfortunately no as not on Facebook. Is there a link or can someone please explain the gist of his post in regards to Tai.

Actually to be fair Chris it is quite a few people. May I add I am a Tai Woffinden fan and whilst some of his ethics could be questioned his heart and his passion certainly cannot be with the money he has raised for charity and for what he did for the little lady at the S.W.C and other things he has done in my opinion which is why I like his silent type protest and I can't blame him if other riders and Rob Lyon has given up on the BSPA. Regardless and I apologise if proved wrong but I still think chris4gillian and Gavan are the same person and I think about ten people do to. Reasons why are: 1) I fell out with Gavan over an argument many times and had to report him for the abuse and had never spoken to chris4gillian but one day I was praising Tai and chris4gillian attacked my post in a Gavan-esque way and I had never spoken to him or said a bad word about Tai. Why? No idea. 2) Agree with orion and Pinny as you can see on other threads that chris4gillian and Gavan both post similar paragraph, with similar type spacing and wordings but with slight disguise and for a long life Poole supporter, I never see any reports or comments about how Poole do when they win etc apart from an argument with Poole fans. This could be proven if a Poole fan would meet chris4gillian. 3)Gavan has probably been reported several times and could be on a last few warnings and would need another account in case he got removed and a life long Poole fan would be an excellent disguise to use the Poole thread more often to argue with them etc etc. No idea why. 4) Finally, they always seem to post 20 minutes after each other about complaining that they are the same person. Surely you wouldn't get so easily riled and annoyed but just laugh it off if you were accused of being the same person but it hasn't been dealt with very well if they aren't the same person. To be honest, I couldn't care less like I couldn't care that John Leslie is Darcys Onion or whatever but I am happy to apologise to Gavan or chris4gillian if I am proven incorrect. I just really want to talk about speedway

High Noon. Belle Vue V Poole Ela. 29/08/16.
Joe Beevers replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tbh, I don't have a clue about the first three posts in the topic but regardless I think this match could decide the winners or at least the potential finallists for the Elite League. If Poole ride well and beat Belle Vue than it will open it up again into a three waybattle for the league. If Belle Vue win convincingly as expected, I have to put my money on Wolves v Belle Vue final unless the Poole promotions make a very ruthless change like TBA for Buckzowski or someone because it would appear they are lacking serious firepower away from home. Will be a very interesting watch for the neutral. -
Glasgow Vs Somerset Pl 21/08/16
Joe Beevers replied to damosuzuki's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sounded like a great meeting but Somerset are now even more in the driving seat and they used two guests to be fair. Great performance from Daniel Bewley. -
I doubt they would sell it. Tai, Scott, Bomber and maybe Paul Hurry or a few ex riders should get together and buy. Or can they at least own 51% of it?
-
No is the answer I believe. Same scenario with Scott Nicholls I believe with both wanting the BSPA to do more for British Speedway and both passionate and successful with wanting to succeed. But more facts are needed on why he has quit but he won't represent Australia in my opinion. Actually didn't Tai state he would have a different infrastructure to run British Speedway. I am personally up for riders like him and Scott Nicholls running it. Surely that would be for the best interests along with people like Paul Hurry.

Actually looking at their post spacings, statements, punctuation etc like I did with John Leslie and Darcys Onion, you maybe right on this one. Not that I care anyway but I just don't see the point. Time to edit my post above.

Has This Ever Happened Before With A Rider?
Joe Beevers replied to Joe Beevers's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes, I think Davis quit before 95 didn't he but Whittaker and Simmons sounds plausible. -
Spot on opinion here and if there is room on your fence, I will sit up here with you and in the meantime wait for: Tai Woffinden to release some more facts The BSPA to make an official statement Robert72 to rejoin the thread The thread to break the world record number of posts. Starman to tell everyone off about the amount of posts being made on this thread. John Leslie/Darcys Onion to come on and make ridiculous five figure bets over Stevebrum vs Robert72 in a race with Tai Woffinden as the start marshall. Gavan/chris4gillian to verbally insult more than 10 people on the world record breaking thread.

No perhaps their was no Vic than because I am positive it wasn't 1939 unless of course the photographer or picture had it dated wrong as had been said. I will go to a few more steam fairs and hopefully this picture will turn up in a marquis again with the lovely old Weslake and I will probably take a photo of it, if I see it again. Pretty sure it was 28 but have been wrong before and maybe again but hoping to prove it this time.

I apologise in advance if I am wrong on thia matter but now Tai Woffinden has joined Wolves with Peter Karlsson. Now did I read in the Speedway Star that Peter Karlsson took over as Tai Woffindens manager/mentor in the Grand Prix's from Peter Adams. So the question stands is this the first time that a younger rider and his older manager/mentor will be riding in the same team and even in the same heats. I would think that Fathers and Sons have obviously done this but excluding them, has any rider teamrode with his mentor at the time.

That is a rather odd one. Now I am wondering if it said 29 or 38 but 99% sure it said 28. I am trying to remember the names on it now. Perhaps there was a Vic. Sorry but it was a while ago.

Leicester V Poole Elb. 20/08/16
Joe Beevers replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That is an awful opinion in my book. How can you be a fan when you want the captain and highest averaged rider of your speedway team to be fired for riding in a individual meeting which is as good as a Grand Prix to him. I don't know many fans of any club who would to be honest and I can't believe most Poole fans will share that opinion. Hans is a very humble man and didn't he begin his career with Poole. That is very harsh.
