  1. Sadly many at Custom House in the mid/late. 60’s. Wills and Teodorowicz come to mind.
  2. Imagine there’s no Speedway. It could happen to you. No Poole or Ipswich. And no Kings Lynn too.
  3. A tad confusing maybe. Every team meets every other team nome and away. Top team at end of season wins the league. The way it always was for many a long year.
  4. My eldest son lived in C-U Illinois and hated it.
  5. As a said… in the main, I was not including Dan and Robert in the 12. I worded it badly. I still feel you could replace most of this year’s field with previous GP winners and medalists without weakening the series. Happy Friday be proved wrong.
  6. Speedway GP markets itself as world’s best 15. Kvech? Huckenbeck?. No Laguta or Sayfutdinov. Take away the top 3 from last year and we have 12 who in the main could be replaced with another 12, no disrespect to Dan and Robert.
  7. 1965 then every Wembley final after.
  8. Have any forum members seen the 1933 film Money For Speed, featuring Lionel Van Praag?.
  9. Please don’t include me in your not interested in speedway group. I am very interested in speedway but just found it more enjoyable in the 60’s and 70’s. I am not alone in holding this view.
  10. Terenzano held several GP’s and unless I am mistaken, the capacity was only 4,000. Many GP’s over the years have been held in stadia housing less than 10,000.
