Think he is out for the start the season, thinking was in the star i read that the Cubs have 7 of their 12 fixtures before the end of April so they dont start the CL season till the twins turn 16 and he will miss all of those at the very least.

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2020

I can imagine a facility where Danny's race jacket is not used for a month and covered by RR as a mark of respect would be allowed, and even the most anti Godfrey fans surely couldn't find fault in that? -

I think now the pricing and fixture list appears sorted, I d imagine normally you can pick them up from the stadium office, or at P and P.

Visit the kent kings webpage tomorrow, as I believe all the details will be available then. If you need further assistance just ask.

I will let you know when prices have been released. I believe in the past you could do it a few different ways.

Riders to improve in 2020.?

I remember last winter Lee Kilby saying the track was getting done last year and then the back straight stands done this winter (seem to recall the ready made stands in storage in Wales cropping up again.) And the home straight being next winter. Is that still the plan?

Steve Rees seems cautiously optimistic about taking the cars back, if that happens I would imagine adding speedway would be the logical next step.

Basically the club print thousands if posters brochures and fixture lists, and us fans distribute them around local tourist spots, libraries, work places, schools etc.

I think in a nutshell your post says everything about Danny Ayres the man.

Poole Pirates 2021

I thought the whole idea of Visa's (in general not just speedway) was that to qualify for one. You had to be highly qualified and that your not taking a job from an equally qualified native? I know this applies in many sectors, how do the Visa's work for speedway riders? I ve seen it quoted that different riders have different conditions etc. -
The away season ticket discount, and the 10 home meeting ticket are both ideas I ve read online and have fed back to Graham Darling, so hopefully both schemes will be used at Kent.
-
I dont believe they have worked out the admission costs yet, I did ask the commercial manager whether we would sign up. He said they would look at this once that was confirmed and announced. But I certainly dont think they have ruled out joining it.

But these are the days of video phones, instant internet etc, far less chance of someone going totally under the radar these days. -
Tbf no true speedway fan would try fiddle a club out of a tenner, surely. But also you tv streaming point, millions have access to sky and bt, where as maybe a hundred or so will watch this each week. So I imagine it would actually be relatively simple to detect who is illegally streaming. Any massive thumbs up too Edinburgh for this massively forward thinking initiatives. Cant wait to visit in the summer, got the days off confirmed at work last night

Could be argued footballs European UEFA cups draws are rigged to a degree, although they have the sense to do it before the draw takes place.

I d disagree with parts of that. Friday traffic is far worse then the rest of the week. For fans south of the tunnel just getting to lakeside was a ballache most weeks. Although for Rye House I suspect it's the best night too run. For me Saturdays have so many alternative choices of entertainment (including all the big international speedway dates) that speedway crowds will always suffer. Let's be frank here though, as long as it reopens who cares what day it runs, as long as it running.

Kent challenge after the CL match in July as well.

Think you ll get a nice suprise as to how well the kent fans travel.

Downes never came back after the big smash on turn 2 with Sanderson and Freemantle. Sanderson look promising and was due at Kent P and P in 2015 but never showed and I never heard his name since. I admire to a degree the Monachs approach, but it does nothing at all for the league, and certainly detrimental to the 3 stand alone clubs, who all need respectable gates. When we look back at Scunthorpe 14 team, I believe only Danno Verge is still active, which to me says the experiment of getting tanked every week not only didnt work, but actually hindered riders progression.

Dont see how Gilkes Ledwith and Jenkins is not a strong top 3. All got championship spots as well. It's a team well under the points limit, but all riders have the ability to put 2 points on thier averages imho. Whilst I dont think the side has been built with winning as the sole goal. I d be quite shocked if we werent in the end of season play offs.
