Poole Pirates 2021

But these are the days of video phones, instant internet etc, far less chance of someone going totally under the radar these days. -
Tbf no true speedway fan would try fiddle a club out of a tenner, surely. But also you tv streaming point, millions have access to sky and bt, where as maybe a hundred or so will watch this each week. So I imagine it would actually be relatively simple to detect who is illegally streaming. Any massive thumbs up too Edinburgh for this massively forward thinking initiatives. Cant wait to visit in the summer, got the days off confirmed at work last night

Could be argued footballs European UEFA cups draws are rigged to a degree, although they have the sense to do it before the draw takes place.

I d disagree with parts of that. Friday traffic is far worse then the rest of the week. For fans south of the tunnel just getting to lakeside was a ballache most weeks. Although for Rye House I suspect it's the best night too run. For me Saturdays have so many alternative choices of entertainment (including all the big international speedway dates) that speedway crowds will always suffer. Let's be frank here though, as long as it reopens who cares what day it runs, as long as it running.

Kent challenge after the CL match in July as well.
-
Think you ll get a nice suprise as to how well the kent fans travel.

Downes never came back after the big smash on turn 2 with Sanderson and Freemantle. Sanderson look promising and was due at Kent P and P in 2015 but never showed and I never heard his name since. I admire to a degree the Monachs approach, but it does nothing at all for the league, and certainly detrimental to the 3 stand alone clubs, who all need respectable gates. When we look back at Scunthorpe 14 team, I believe only Danno Verge is still active, which to me says the experiment of getting tanked every week not only didnt work, but actually hindered riders progression.

Dont see how Gilkes Ledwith and Jenkins is not a strong top 3. All got championship spots as well. It's a team well under the points limit, but all riders have the ability to put 2 points on thier averages imho. Whilst I dont think the side has been built with winning as the sole goal. I d be quite shocked if we werent in the end of season play offs.

As flipper has posted, we will use BH mondays for NL fixtures and hopefully the BH Fridays if 11am start is agreed too by the council. (Although think the fridays may be for CL fixtures) And we will race on some Tuesdays as well as we dont have priority on weds nights.

Kent side is Gilkes Ledwith Jenkins Spooner Clouting Mulford Hagon

Did he actually retire or just not get a team spot because he got such a high average at Plymouth a couple of seasons ago?
-
Spoke to many riders who said the track was ruined by the 1000cc sidecars, that dug holes in the worst possible places and were never repaired properly. Never been a fan of sidecars on a speedway track personally.

Wrocław 2020 GP tickets

My mate has 6 double rooms booked and is equally anxious to get tickets sorted asap. -
So Newcastle have applied to run in this years NT, i suspect it's a test to see if running in the NL is viable. Would give IoW Mildo and Plymouth an extra home meeting to enjoy.

Reading blocked from Entering NDL
teaboy279 replied to Sings4Speedway's topic in National League Speedway
Spoke to some people "in the know" this is not a new application, this is just a renewal of the previous permission to develop the site. Part of the plans state it cant be built on until extra schools are built in the area, and there are none planned for anytime soon. So whilst there is a sword over the clubs head, I get the impression that there is no imminent risk of closure. -

I believe they are taking group bookings from monday, has to be 20 people plus and you need everyone's passport numbers when booking and all must be in same sector. -
Think we will be knocking on the doors of the play offs, but a lot of team changes between now and then. Some of the weaker sides may make a couple of changes and look world beaters.

Birmingham Brummies 2020

Think Blackburn walked away due to becoming a parent and getting injured again. He is the sort of talent that could jump back on a bike in a year or 2 and pick up his development where he left off. I was hoping Zach may of been on Kent's team sheet as he has the relationship with Paul Hurry. I believe he has remained active on the grass so another who would instantly do a job at this level should he find the desire to have another go. -

Rob Ledwith has not ridden second tier speedway for a quarter of a century (when there was no third tier I ll add) and is also on a 4.0..... which seems astonishing to me, even more so when he had an assessed 3.5 average in the NL last year. -
I still love race times being a bit of a nerd, I would love nothing more then transponders being used universally. It's not exactly cutting edge technology anymore so costs arent prohibitive, and for those with no interest in times, it does nothing to detract from thier experience.
-
I ve got the meeting on dvd, and make Ellis track record nearly 1.2 seconds slower then the official race time of 56.1

Possibly the biggest and boldest and certainly most prominent speedway advert in recent history. Be interesting to know how many people new to speedway have googled warrior speedway.

The Kent National League team name will be confirmed later this month after a competition running in local schools. Although the kent press office must read this forum as Kenty McKentface has already disappointingly been ruled out...

This is slightly delayed as files are to long and big to edit on my phone as intended. Hoping to get it on to a laptop in the next couple of days. Probably gonna have to be uploaded in 2 parts as well as wont be far off 2 hours once put together.
