Danny Ayres and James Shanes are all action for kent. Keep an eye on Connor Mountain as a future star for mildo and jack Kingston for them is also all action to watch.

If perks stays on his bike that could tip the meeting towards kent. I think if Coventry win either of these matches they will be heavy favorites for 4th. If Coventry lose both it will be any 1 from the bottom 7

Too Many Clubs?
teaboy279 replied to Christopher Bcmma Cook's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Do you do stand up at weekends, how many clubs could afford to only run once a month. How many stadiums are gonna keep Speedway as tenants for 6 events worth of rent. -
As the riders seem to almost be Andrews and Mias family such is the atmosphere the raiders side portrays,I wonder if any riders will decamp too? As the riders seem to almost be Andrews and Mias family such is the atmosphere the raiders side portrays,I wonder if any riders will decamp too?

Well with Sampford in charge that is one less team in the gold cup battle. Very poor manager and tactically inept. Someone ask about Andrews wife, her name is Mia. And talking to some of the raiders and their teams I believe Mia was mother hen to the set up so will be as bigger loss to the team as Andrew.

Is This The Way Forward For British Speedway?
teaboy279 replied to Electric6's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You can remove Lakeside from the list as I don't think they have a track for next season yet, but can add kent who will be looking to move up the leagues in the winter I believe. Don't think that would work anyway, not gonna reduce travelling either when well over half the riders fly in from mainland Europe anyway. -
Risk...acceptable Or Unacceptable?
teaboy279 replied to customhouseregular's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Spot on If you made Speedway "safe" you would not get riders interested in it, it's the buzz that attracts riders. You tell old riders that it is more dangerous nowadays they would fall over with laughter. My dad lost plenty of friends to the sport in his career. Seen people comment about fences, we ll I would suggest Darcy's impact with the track was harder then the fence. Airfence up the straight is nonsense and far more dangerous, when they trialed it before how many riders found their bikes stopped dead mid straight when they caught the fence but their bodies continued at 60mph. -
Eastbourne Eagles Vs Birmingham Brummies 23/8/15 Nl
teaboy279 replied to Alex2000's topic in National League Speedway
He rode for kent mate, so was racing against cradley reserves. By all accounts the best rider in a kent reserve jacket this season. Another young brit with a bright future and another guy with experience in mainland Europe. -
If you are on about Keir Miller who got killed at loghgelly a couple of months back, he was in fact 11 years old.

Kent Vs Eastbourne Monday 17th August 6:30pm
teaboy279 replied to Alex2000's topic in National League Speedway
Biggest issue is us not allowing kids to ride 500cc bikes till 15. Spoken to a few German Speedway fans who all say that 14 yr old Ethan who his mum informed me has only just jumped on a 500cc this year is equally as good or better then Daniel. Future of British speedway looks very strong with the riders coming through. As a kent fan no problems with Spillers signing he fits all criteria of the NL and was a pleasure to watch last night. -

Great meeting, serious racing with great passes in at least 12 races. Spiller looked mega quick, classy, and looked for his team mate every time. Really, it's racing like tonight that gives you the bug I am Buzzing after an 18 point loss.Nice to see Eddie Kennett do some skids too would have been interesting to of had a clock on his times, already seen on FB people going down the conspiracy theory route and worried that Lakeside are still trying to get in to central park. They must no by now they will not be welcomed. Will check out to confirm when I get in but I believe Daniel Spillers Heat 2 time is either the 3rd or 4th fastest 4 laps around our track. -

Not going with masses of confidence but a win certainly is not impossible. Be good to see Chessell back, a rider I rate highly, be good to have back in a kent jacket again one day. 100% committed and the potential to reel of race wins for fun. -

teaboy279 replied to Alex2000's topic in National League Speedway
Think any result is possible but for kent to win we will have to be at our very best and rely on Eastbourne being below par. Heart says 2 point kent win in last race decider. Head says eastbourne by six after kent has used a tr. -
Rye House Raiders V's Eastbourne Eagles Sat 15th Aug 7pm
teaboy279 replied to Hob Nob's topic in National League Speedway
I see spiller lives in Germany. Is this another Rob Lambert ie had to ride abroad so he could use a 500cc bike earlier. -
Looking forward to this but feel getting anything from tonight will be tougher then in previous seasons.

teaboy279 replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
Think my post has been miss read I never said the laurels had a stronger Line Up then the golden hammer, what I said was or meant at least is the laurels was stronger without our bottom three riding. Nothing more nothing less. -
Golden Hammer Wed 12th August @ Perry Barr
teaboy279 replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
I understand that, but I felt Kents decision to only put our top 4 in the laurals made for a far stronger field. Not knocking the meeting at all, cradley reserves will score a few points anyway. I was just contesting the fact that the line up is better then that of a NLRC meeting. -
Golden Hammer Wed 12th August @ Perry Barr
teaboy279 replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
Whilst the line up is strong, you can't compare it to NLRC as this line up has too many reserves and second strings. -
New Training Track(s) For Scotland
teaboy279 replied to CaptainAudi's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Cowdenbeath run banger racing sat nights, whilst football is sat afternoon. So barring mid week football matches the stadium is free 5/6 nights a week. Lochgelly operates banger racing on Sunday afternoons and occasional Saturday evenings so again many free evenings to be used. -
