Hopefully the promoters can offer something similar to before. Sea cat both ways, taxi from pier to track and back again plus entry for 22 quid. Represents great value.
Nah my view is track Luke at reserve, plenty of points to get 3 higher average riders in main body.
Clifton could be key scoring big at reserve but having to go at #2 against numbers 1's after 12 years plus out could be very tough and quickly dwindle clifton enthusiasm
That is sad for us, but great he knows where his life is going and is building a future.
To my mind he is the perfect candidate for the fast track scheme. He is one of the fastest at NL level when he stays on the bike so a bomber Harris or a Scottie Nichols mentoring him each week and offering their experience would be invaluable and in Jacks case I think he would genuinely thrive. Rather then do a Greaves and go against your skipper and manager publicly I think he would soak it all up like a sponge.
Think by the end of the season he was as keen as ever. Kingston and kent fit like a glove, but as you say he left us due to work commitments so I truly hope these can be negotiated.
Tbf he beat both Adam sheppard and Jamie Couzins quite comfortably from gate 1 at our press and practice day. Then in the second ride he tried clamping over Jamie Couzins into turn 1 leading to a nasty spill and various broken bones. His mid season race with Sheppard would of been one of his first times back on a bike.
The national trophy is a great way to get competitive meetings for stand alone clubs so I would like both for it to continue and for us to enter again.

I would like to see the play offs return (hated the idea when they came in), but after a couple of months only really brum or Eastbourne looked like winning. Whereas if the play offs were held 8 or 9 teams would have still been able to win the league after August.
Look at riders who had no club last term. Then there is the likes of Simon Lambert who scored well in both pl and El last term but seems to have lost his spot at both leicester and Peterborough.
That's before you take into consideration any riders looking to return to the sport after a year or 2 out.
Can't recall any clubs officials asking for a 36 limit. Most clubs I ve seen speak about it have said 38-40 and I assume that the club's will vote on it so genuinely can't see it being 36
Anything outside of the 38-40 window is just stupid in my eyes. As already said before the league started with so many 3 pointers last term. Some like ZW jumped up to top dog straight away, if the limit is too low it will force him to PL too early and potentially we could lose more talent.
