Steve Boxall makes perfect sense and makes Eastbourne big favorites for the league.

This seems to be Speedways biggest problem, the guys that fund the sport ie the fans are often left guessing rules and regulations.
-
Think Basford was already an asset of another club, although not 100 percent. I ve see suggestions that the asset rule only applies to "new" assets. If that is the case then perhaps this new rule applies to fresh unsigned talent. Certainly not seen any club statements from the stand alone clubs complaining about assets being stripped. I know as a kent supporter that it was pretty significant signing assets such as Ayres, Baseby, and Shanes. So would imagine some sort of outcry from clubs. Is there any official source where we can access information about changes like this?

Found it mate, thanks.

After the comments here and via message, I have sent Connor a message to confirm either way. Never considered it to be an issue as I watched tonnes of speedway towards the end of last year online. (Meetings I was never going to watch in person)
-
Could you link me to the tweet please. Not fussed just know a few fans not able to travel down.I know from watching a few races at arlington last year both 2 wheels and 4 that signal is an issue anyway. If the rules don't allow it so be it. Better to find out know, rather then get a tap on the shoulder Friday.

Gonna say, there were no play offs last year. Looking forward to Arlington Friday, Battery depending I will broadcast the whole meeting live on periscope @teaboy279

Completely agree mate, and tbf the 3 meetings next weekend are all also training sessions but with riders. But the day certainly filled me with confidence.

I know most kings fans tend to avoid the BSF and stick to our own fan forums but very Suprised nothing has been posted about yesterday. The whole kent side attended practice at SITRA'S Iwade training track. The surface was pretty tricky earlier on but got better as the day went on. 1. Bowen looked classy and comfortable all day, hard to judge his speed as when riding a bike looks so easy it makes them appear slower. 2. Clifton after 2 falls in his first run looked classy and up there with the fastest guys. 3. Ayres looked fast again all day and tried out various lines, very influential in the pits too. 4. Magic looked very good on the bike especially riding the tricky kerb Line, less so in the dirt. Spent much of his track time dialling in his starts which were dynamite. Also came onto the track to coach the 2 reserves which is immense to see. 5. Shanes, both most stylish and indeed comfortably fastest all day, enjoyed himself that much he also had a spin as passenger on a sidecar with Chris Neame later in the day. 6. Verge looked so far improved it was scary and on yesterday's evidence and previous practices this could well be his year. Certainly expect him to put a few points on his average in what is a far stronger year then last. 7. Thomas was by the end of the day nearly as fast as the heat leaders, also feel he has a few characteristics of Mr Kent Ben Morley. Overall a day that's really boosted my enthusiasm and optimism. Roll on Friday.

Just seen this posts, went to check Twitter and found Strudwick has blocked me on there. Think the only time I have ever tweeted him was after a nasty second half fall at kent years ago and a few months after to see how he was. So found that as amusing as the Nicki P's tweet.

That said Eastbourne used Dan Greenwood as a guest last season on the opening day. So I think there are loopholes in all of speedway rules that people who look hard enough will always find
-
Seen James has had practice at Lynn and he has either already been or about to do a days practice at the oak Tree arena. Tbf the videos I ve seen of Danno the increase in speed looks scary. Plus he looks a lot more muscular after a winter of training, so I feel this could and should be his year to kick on.

That makes life easier.

I think Bob makes money from the bar, if I remember correctly what was written then the promotion don't get any money from the outlets ie Martin and Connor Dugard. But the Dugard family do make money if that makes sense.

I believe it must be in writing to swale council to the address on the site, making sure you include the ref. I believe the online stuff linked into the article is the planning proposal itself which anyone can view.

Get writing folks. http://www.kentkings.co/news.php?extend.578

Please see the Kent website for details on our application to continue running and how you can help.

Mildenhall Cradley Birmingham kent Kings Lynn IOW Rye House Eastbourne Buxton Stoke Coventry Belle Vue Although tbf on paper any of the 12 have a fair shout of making the play offs.
-
With that sort of rule you wouldn't get fairytale stories like Danny Ayres.
-
Wrong about assets, James Shanes, Danny Ayres, Aaron Baseby are all kent assets for sure. Believe Verge and Sheppard and Dan Blake are also.
-
But the first turn at Hoddesdon is rubish imo, banked on the inside then flattens off meaning only the inside half is useable. 2 changes I would make would be to bank all the way to the fence, and put more shale on. Those two things alone in my opinion would transform the place.

This crash? Looks a very quick rider, falling yards from the line.

Quite agree with that, my experience of reading Bens posts are that I agree with around 60 percent of them disagree with 25 percent and indifferent to the rest. But everything he writes is well thought out and we'll written. Coming back on topic, this season I am organising a few pennies for the lads. There are 2 ways, I am trying to get each rider Sponsored 10 pound a week for fuel and 10 pound per week for oil, everyone has at least one spot available except danny who already has both sponsors in place. The other method is to sponsor your favorite/favourites riders per point from anything from 10p per point. Anyone wishing to get involved please get in contact. Also David Mason has room on his kevlars and bike for sponsors, and I guess this applies to the whole team. Remember guts every little helps.
